Isn't the 25% Best Buy for the special edition strategy guide not the collector's edition of the game? Because there are two different strategy guides. But I wish it was for the game.

Amazon sent out an email with their new releases, and on it was madden 09 collectors edition for ps3 for $50 dollars. when people got to the site, it was priced normally. however, a lucky few were able to call in and get their orders price-adjusted, until amazon finally caught on.

I can tell you right now that the old 15% off coupon didn't work with the Mario Kart deal where you'd get a Wii game for cheap with purchase. Computer would not let her do it. Can't imagine this Madden deal will work.

Please do not print this coupon out and try to use it. This is a 2 sided coupon so you'd have to find a very stupid cashier to even get this to be used.
 
I went to 7-11 tonight to buy the Wii version with the snickers deal, and after all was said and done he wanted 51 bucks for it, since the game was 59.99. Yeah right, for the Wii version, ugh, what a joke.

Why not? It's always YMMV, but that has never stopped a CAG from trying to get a good deal. Does it personally affect you if we print it out and try to use it?

Mine did as well...you can't beat the Collector's Edition for $49.99. Between the screw up by Amazon and the TRU buy 1 get one half off deal that ended up being B1G1 a couple of weeks ago, I saved some major $ the past few weeks...yay for incompetence!!! :applause:

Well, I have a friend who works at 7-Eleven and he told me that the PS3 and 360 were priced at $59.99 and the total for the whole thing including the Snickers bar was $55.42. The Wii I believe went for 49.99 I think, not sure s I'm guessing its a few bucks under the 49.99 range lik 44 or 45 dollars. Then for the PS2 it comes out to be $33.43. So remember, this includes the 10 dollars off coupon plus tax and snickers bar. All in all not a bad trade off, and you get a Snickers bar. Oh wait, those are the prices ranges for buying a small snickers bar, but I bet most who're going to buy will buy the regular sized one anyway.

The coupon is for the strategy guide, not the game. Even if they did take a scanned version of the coupon, it wouldn't work if you want the Anniversary Edition of the game.

I just saw that 25% BB coupon and started swearing up a storm. Then I realized it won't work on the Collector's Edition either...

They mean to say that it's for the regular guide or the two book Limited Edition version of the strategy guide (MSRP $34.99). Amazon is a better deal at $23.59 + some crap to get free shipping. Or if you can't wait, try to get one of those Gamestop coupon books and get it for $24.99 + tax, which is what I did.

Just used it at my local BB with minimal trouble. I played the confused customer ("What? This isn't the bundle? Oh dear") coupled with my Silver Rewards Zone membership (read: Hey, I spend a lot of jack here). They admitted that all of the different products were confusing and let me have the 25% with no trouble. Of course, I'm probably the last one who'll get so lucky at that location (Brooklyn, OH) now. . .

It doesn't affect me personally. Printing coupons like this, is why TRU has been so strict on accepting any internet printed coupons lately, even coupons from their own website.

If you really want to use this coupon and your closest store doesn't have any, PM me your address and I can mail you some.
 
Well Let me admit that I am going to try and use the 25% off coupon for the limited edition in a few hours. If they stop me then oh well I have the backup 10 off 75 plus my reward zone coupons. but still flash a smile and look confused and more than less likely you will get over. lol good luck everyone.
 
the bb coupon clearly states "this coupon good for 25% off the official guide or the limited edition bundle." Also states "no copies" somewhere in the fine print. so i'm guessing they're referring to the PSP bundle with the colored blue psp? good luck and let us know if it works for any of you.

They'll e-mail it to you in 1-2 weeks. I had to wait for a gift card code with my Super Smash Bros. Brawl order as well.
 
I bought the PSP bundle today and was a lil upset that the game didn't come in a full size case, but I'm trading the game AND the In Just One Play UMD anyway so it's cool.

That is misleading and not right. as I myself among others will think it's the psp limited edition madden 09 that just came out. you could argue this if you'd like and my friend @ bb said he'd honor it but I already have a psp so it's at the discretion of your local bb and management. It has this "game guide" on the link you put up, but it doesn't clearly state that on the coupon. so try it out and good luck.
