yes MasterAwesome is my gamertag too, where do you access the invites/put in the password and stuff? is it just something on xbox live? or is there a website you're supposed to go to
 
It's on Xbox Live, Under Leagues, You hit Join League. Put in the Username then Search and it'll ask you what team you are, Then you just select that and put in the Password and You're good to go.
 
I'd never even activated the Online Franchise code, didn't realize I had to. I'm sure that's why it didn't work. :D I'm setting it up now and will join shortly.

Edit: It kept freezing when trying to put in the code, apparently others have had this problem.. I'll sort it out with EA tonight.

also, is this is okay with everyone, the Bucs and Broncos won't be joining until Week 2 of the season. They both had to take a brief hiatus due to work so if there's no real problems with this I'm going to keep those teams held for them.

Alright, I joined up. Wednesday next week is better for me for the draft as I have softball Thursday evening, but if it's at 10EST I might make it back.

Does Madden even create an accurate year 2 schedule? I assumed it was mostly randomized. Regardless, we should all have plenty of games vs other users, which is exciting.
 
lol Yeah I'm staying as the Steelers. Pretty good running backs, Ok quarterback and some speed at receiver. Not bad lol. But Id trademy left nut to be the Packers. But ya cant always get watcha want

Alright, Wednesday at 10:00 works for me. I haven't gotten a chance to get on xbox live lately, but I'll make sure to sign up for the league sometime later today.
 
As I said before, I was in Phoenix. I left Thursday night and got back a few hours ago. I'll join when I get on tonight to advance the schedule for the franchise I run.

Good to go. I would just show up a couple minutes before 10 so you don't miss your pick. Things move quickly when people aren't there. He must be talking about a different league.
 
So everyone should be in tonight except for the Broncos/Bucs right? If the Vikings aren't being taken, I'll take them. I can wait till after the draft though haha.

Yes, all we're waiting on are the Fins, Falcons and Vikings. Plus whoever DKreegz picks, but I haven't heard from him in a week+.
 
Hey Azu - Would it be possible to put people's CAG usernames as well as their gamertags in the list on the OP? I'd imagine it will be easier to know who's playing who that way and coordinate game times.
 
Well, the draft's over. I didn't do an official count, but it seems like 15 or so people showed up, which is a good turnout for this sort of thing. I'm happy with my first 3 picks, but that's about it. Sadly, there was little to no talent available at the positions I needed help in- center, right guard, and right tackle.

By the way, ubernes- great call on changing rounds 4-5 to 30 seconds and rounds 6-7 to 15 seconds.

Did the Cardinals guy simply enter the draft room and then leave his Xbox? Because his timer always went down to zero, even in the early rounds.
 
I actually was pretty happy with how I did, got a few starters (though that might speak more to the Titans mediocre-ness than anything).

We're good to go if we have CPU opponents in Week 1, right?
 
Well, picking 32nd left me with little options. Luckily I needed LB depth, particularly on the left side but the best prospect was a middle. After the draft I switched him over to be a LOLB and his overall jumped from a 79 to 84.
 
Welp, game 1 in the books. I took care of the Jags pretty easily, but I'm certainly glad my first opponent wasn't one of you, since I felt pretty rusty (despite the score). Definitely committed a couple of boneheaded turnovers, I'll need to do some more practicing before my run of human opponents.
 
Feeling a bit shaky too, I wish I was able to take my franchise team and play offline with them. My FS and RE are rookies and I'm not loving them by any means.

edit: With that said, I wouldn't mind considering a deal for a 3-4 DE for one of my running backs.
