In this Madden game, Braylon Edwards is a top 15-20 rated WR.

Very rarely with a 2nd round pick in Madden do you ever get a player that ever rates above 85 for an entire career.

Chansi Stuckey has what B potential if that? The other guys is a scrub.
 
That's a fair analysis, which is why my offer was simply the starting point. Sood said, "You guys just throw draft picks around all willy nilly" as if I was OVERPAYING for Braylon by adding my 2nd rounder. That's why I was confused with the hate on the trade.

Anyways, maybe me and Ultimate Matt should be PMing each other anyways so we don't have to hear criticism ever step of the discussion (if he's even willing to trade Edwards in the first place). Feel free to judge the final trade all you want, if it gets that far.

Bad about what trade? The real life one? Nothing, but in Madden its crap.

Its just my opinion guys calm down, most of the trades done is this league were crap with one person giving way to much for a sub par person. Its like no one really understands what draft picks are equal to.

Every trade I see has a crazy amount of picks involved and the players being traded are rarely equal or fill a niche. Most of the time one of you is letting yourself be robbed blind on the thought that 1 sub superstar is worth 2 or 3 guys and draft picks while forgetting that you are filling niche spots on the other persons team.

But it doesnt matter what I think, you guys can trade whoever or whatever you want as long as it doesnt rape your team of all talent. But in my opinion most of the trades done in this league have been laughable.
 
But to answer you question...do I think you are over paying for Edwards. fuck yes.

This is madden, you could be a one legged gimp and still catch for 1000 yards easy. I dont even know what teams my WRs came from other than Mason. Some guy name Carmellio some Murphy guy both are rated under 70.

Why give up a 2nd round pick which you could probably draft a WR rated about that high anyway. Galego you are wrong about this years madden because the one thing they actually did well was fix the draft. You can get good talent in the later rounds.

just played a good game against Cosmo G Spacely, the new owner of the falcons, the acquisition of Leon Hall, turned out to be a good one being that Hall had 2 interceptions, the loss of Stewart was also felt though when back up Fiametta fumbled and turned the ball over in his brief entrance into the game to relieve DeAngelo Williams. Speaking of Williams he came out in great form Rushing for 273 yds and 4 td's. The Panthers defense played in rare form forcing two fumbles on Michael Turner, and holding him to 10 yds rushing this evening. All in all it was a good game and the final outcome was the Panthers over the Falcons 35 - 16, and remaining undefeated against division opponents.
 
Played a great game vs. itlnstln. Vikes came out on top 28-17.
Soodmeg, I'm gonna boot neworlbush. I'll invite him back when he returns but for now go ahead against the CPU.
 
JDubb and I were playing our game when my school's internet decided to take a shit on me... When it finally came back up 2-3 minutes later I just told him to go ahead and finish against the computer since I more than likely wasn't going to be making any massive comebacks... It was 21-0 with about 3:00 left in the 3rd when I dropped.

I really can't complain too much about my Palmerless offense, I was actually doing fairly good moving the ball, just made a few bad play calls and paid for it. McCown didn't have any turnovers, just a couple wild passes.

Good game JDubb, good work with Parker, I couldn't stop him. I guess I need to play a couple games with the Bengals to get used to their team a little bit. Again, sorry about the disconnection (even though I don't have any control over it).

Buccaneers vs. Dolphins (Albo will be booted if not played because Galego has tried to make the game happen in this thread)
Cowboys vs. Packers (I think its getting done tonight as well)
Eagles vs. Chargers (haven't heard anything).

Great job this week! And it was only a 4 day week. I'd like to keep going with 4 day weeks.

Also, for all the god damn trade talk Albo was on I am very surpirsed he cant get his game done.
 
is Legendery Milk the same person as albo.. he did request me on XBL I believe Tuesday I responded but have not heard back from him as of last night.

I haven't seen Galego send me any message at all. I sent him one on XBL and he replied hours later with a "i can play now." I unfortunately, was not.

I'm available from 3PM EST to 8PM EST. Please schedule a game with me ahead of time because I'm swamped with AP homework and I'm not checking in between for anyone.

I wouldn't mind trading whoever is in front of Gholston. I think Thomas? If you need a OLB. Thomas Jones is also available, but not sure your interest in a RB. Any of my WR besides Cotchery are available. It seems like we'll definitely do at least another season, so I think a pick will do pretty well, but it's up to you.

I don't have a ton of depth besides RB and ROLB, but if you have another position in mind I could downgrade if you have like a 70s player to replace one of my 80s, or something of that sort. Just can't get rid of like my 90+ DT for whoever is next on my depth chart which is probaby like 65.

Oh, it was your system that froze? I thought it was the game/servers. I was still connected afterwards. You kinda had me locked down the first game.

This is me being stupid. I had a WR open on the sideline, but I was only eying Gates who was covered. So I try to rush it in with Rivers... bam. I don't know how, but this ended up not being a safety even after a challenge. =p
 
Yeah my system froze I think. After the short cutscene of the ref's saying it was out of bounds, the game was fading in but stopped. I tried pressing the guide button, then went out of the guide menu, and it went full blown frozen.
 
Looks like Matt and Ivan are tied at 17 in the 4th quarter...I'll be advancing soon (hopefully within a few minutes after the game ends)...

That was an excellent game I just played with Ivan. I ate up the whole 1st quarter with a drive that ended in a field goal, and he did the same in quarter 2. Tied 3-3 at the half. He managed to score a touchdown on his next drive, and I later answered, tying it again. Got a pick six with Atari Bigby, but Ivan came right back and scored with 43 seconds left. I got within field goal range and kicked the game winner as time expired.

Packers 20, Cowboys 17

It feels great to finally win again, and it's always nice to beat Dallas (nothing personal, Ivan :p). Brian Griese was even competent in this game!

Insanely good game. I always fuck up when I'm picking sides on a windy day. I intended to have you kicking into the wind in the 4th, which could have changed the outcome. Oops! It was definitely the closest game I have had in a while, though.
 
man you guys seem to be kicking butt in playing your games. Anybody starting another league soon if so I want in. I need to wait until Nov. 9 though I will have a stable inet connection again
