Madden 10 League-OFFICIAL CAG LEAGUE (Tournament)- LOTS OF TEAMS AVAILABLE!

Just finished my game against Ivan. It was pretty competitive in the first half. Ivan scored with 7 seconds remaining in the half to go up 14-7. I made the stupid decision to throw it deep rather than run the clock out, and I was picked off and Ivan scored, making it 21-7 at halftime.

He got the ball back to start the second half and I never recovered. He showed why he's a top player in this league and ran right through me in the rest of the game, beating me 31-7. Well played, Ivan.
 
Yeah, he's legit. We played a really great game earlier.
Hopefully Dkreegz and I will play (late) tonight/extremely early tomorrow morning, so I'd like to advance this Sunday night.
 
Haha, yes sir. I just advanced it.
We're on to Week 15, and I'd like us to move on by Wednesday, since I'd love to finish this season by mid march.

I just wanted to get this out there cuz i lost a game on a sim and i'm a lil salty... Seen is a scammer... i was online every day and when he was online, he wouldnt play me. Luckily, i'm still 1st in my division and 2nd in the playoff race... good luck gettin him to play Ultimate Matt.

In the future, just let me know ASAP if you're having trouble playing with somebody so you don't lose a sim game!
 
Just a note to Lethal Swag- I'm not sure if this is still the case or not, but when I was set to play seen a while back, he mentioned that he had his notifications turned off. It annoyed me at the time, but that is (or at least was) how he had his stuff set up, so if you didn't PM him on the board or post in the thread, he may not have known that you wanted to play.
 
Hey Jorrel, when are you able to play? I can play late tonight, tomorrow morning, or any time tomorrow night. Just let me know what works for you.
 
gotcha Azu. i had no idea u were plannin to advance or i would've spoke up. i need to get in the habit of checkin the board on a semi-daily basis.

Matt... iono if the notifications mattered cuz i made contact with him multiple times prior to the week being advanced but whats done is done and i'm still in the playoffs so i'm lettin it go
 
Can anyone tell me if seen is definitely my opponent this week? For some reason I can't log into the Madden site even though I have the right email and password.

I've messaged seen and he couldn't do yesterday until way late, but it seems like we're on for tonight. What time will we advance tonight? Can whichever of us is on like an hour before play the CPU if we don't set anything up between now and then? I need a win (or a shot at one) to keep me in the playoff race.
 
I can advance it pretty late. I've sent lyric a couple PMs and he hasn't responded, so I can wait for a while (perhaps he's sent me a message on XBL) but I can sim pretty late, probably midnight or after.
 
I actually finished my game and noticed you hadn't played, so I figured your game was coming up so I'd wait to sim the next day.
...Now its 10:41 pm, and I haven't had a single second to touch my 360 today :(
I'll advance ASAP, sorry for the delay.

And since we're so close to the finish, should we talk merger?
 
Azu, if we haven't advanced can you give seen and I a time about an hour before you wanna advance to get online and let whoever is on play the CPU if we're both not on?

You did lose, but you just need to beat your next 2 opponents (both vs. CPU) and you're a lock for the playoffs!

I would also be for starting new with players from both leagues and updated rosters, but I know some people might be against that. I think we'd be able to make some roster moves to make the move easy for everyone.

Who would be in for another season? To be honest I'd much rather have ubernes run it because I'd struggle with actually advancing a lot of the time.
 
Bullshit, I just lost to the CPU and now that sim may end up costing me big. Hopefully a lot of you AFC players can beat your opponents this week, as they are teams right in the playoff hunt.

I shouldn't have played because I was pissed off and just couldn't get into the game. Tampa Bay was up 28-0 at half and they suck. I want to ride things out, but that Gamestop trade in deal is looking better.
 
I would be down for another season if that GameStop deal doesn't crush the league. It is insanely good, but I don't know if I can go til August without a football game.

A complete restart would be fine, maybe we can allow some CPU trading for those people who drafted much needed QBs. And I would be fine with running it, assuming no one has an issue with it. (Not sure why they would, haha)

Azu, please please please do not advance till tomorrow. I have been unable to communicate since Thursday night... My computer got a really bad virus and I just got it back 15 minutes ago. As you saw, I was able to post status updates on Facebook, but that was via mobile Twitter (updates simultaneously to Facebook and MySpace).

I was gone most of the weekend and was unable to play. I actually haven't played anything for over a week. But I will play my game at the very latest tomorrow, but there's at least a 50% chance I'll get it done later tonight. So please give me a chance... I need an opportunity to win this game.

I'm done, although I'm going to miss the playoffs because of the goddamn CPU Eagles. And I've already got more wins than I had last year when I won the division!

How do online leagues for this determine tiebreakers? Someone said it may just be alphabetically and not head to head, conference wins, and such.

I just lost to the Colts with 3 seconds left and I'm wondering if I can trade my game in or if I still could sneak into the playoffs.

It's straight alphabetically, unfortunately. It's absolutely stupid as hell and EA should be taken to task for programming something so poorly and refusing to ever fix it or even acknowledge it in the first place.
 
Yeah, I missed out on the playoffs in season 1 of the league I run at my other forum. I was 9-6, playing the 10-5 Cardinals, and I beat them in week 17 so we were both 10-6. Arizona got the last wild card spot due to A(rizona) coming before G(reen Bay).
 
It's actually because C(ardinals) was ahead of the P(ackers), it's based off of the team name, not the location.
 
Well, it looks like the NFC East is just as competitive in CAG Madden as it is in real life, scooping up both wild card spots. Matt Young, I think you could still make the playoffs if you win this week and Azu loses (although it looks like you're both playing CPU opponents).
