Wow. Colts tied it at 10 with 8 seconds left to go in the half, and I returned the ensuing kickoff. I'm lucky to be winning though, my D is getting dismantled.

Alright, go ahead and advance.

I managed to shut them down in the 2nd half (not that I scored myself) and just ran out the clock in the 4th for a 17-10 win. Pretty humbling, and not the showing I was hoping for heading into the big game with the Giants. :bomb: Oh well, a win is a win.

edit: BigAT, let me know what time you want to kick my ass tomorrow. ;)
 
My Jets looked pretty pedestrian this week vs the CPU Fins, 27-18. Two bad picks on my part that I luckily got back thanks to Revis, but an all-around uninspired offensive gameplay. At least my D looked solid most of the time, with 7 sacks from 4 different players.
 
If anybody wants to jump in the Falcons are a decent team to take. Turner was killing me he pulled a 70 yard run on me after selecting a run defense highlighting him and surrounding him in a circle. The mfer pops out of the gang tackle. Luckily Romo played well he had two picks but they were on fourth down and worked as punts. Hamlin had a pick six to ice it for me. Anyways if anyone is on the outside they would be a good pick they were unbeaten until I got them

Getawhale - I believe users have a hard time getting ahold of this guy - any suggestions? Or Getawhale, when are you available to play our game? I am good after 6pmEST all week.

Funny you mention that. I've started to play as the falcons for pick ups. Certainly a possibility for 11.

For what it's worth, I got mine back in 11 days. I'm pretty sure that is the absolute optimum scenario though. I mailed it out first thing on a Monday morning and got it back late the next Friday, so I managed to avoid that second weekend.

I had a similar experience to that of BigAT. If you have them e-mail you the shipping label and you print it out, you can send it out that same day from the UPS store. I did that when I got my second red ring, and I received the system back 10 days after I mailed it in.

I actually got mine back faster than expected too, I believe it was around 12 days total.

My goal: Offensive touchdown, which I believe would be a first this season against him. :D
 
He hasn't given up an offensive touchdown? Damn. I was 4 yards away from scoring one on my opening drive, but he stopped me short of the goal line and I kicked a field goal.

Dude, you are insane at Madden. Nice game.

I'm not an excuse maker, though I maintain I would have made it a better game if I hadn't lost Young. I'm at my best with a scrambling QB, and I just wasn't good enough to adjust my strategy.

But yeah, you're sick.

edit: Thankfully Young won't be out any longer, phew.

Keep thinking you'll see those same 4 or 5 plays come playoff time. ;)

It was a lot of fun, we have some really good players in this league, I'd be happy to be called average.
