Madden 11 League-OFFICIAL CAG LEAGUE-That's all folks! Mini-tourney still coming tho!
at least I know McFadden won't be running to the left against us anymore.
That play haunts my dreams. The worst part is I usually know it's coming too. :bomb:

Everyone needs a bread and butter play. :)
Broncos-Jets supposed to kick off at noon but he's not online yet...can someone alert him?
I contacted him to try to set up our game in the other league and I haven't heard from him this morning, so I don't think he's been around yet.

He PMed me at like 6am and said noon est was fine. I've been on since 11am since I had another league game to get out of the way this morning before my traveling began. I can probably wait around another 20-30 minutes, but I really hate having my time wasted.

edit: Game kicking off now...
And now we got some bush league punt return goal line exploit so I can't sneak inches in wtf
Wow, I've never actually seen anyone try that one in this league.
testing testing...i realize i've never actually tried posting from my phone...checking in from wal-mart, hello friends!!
hi there!
Wow, I've never actually seen anyone try that one in this league.
Yeah, dude, I don't know, I lost fair and square because I had 2-3 fumbles and got screwed a bit by the Madden gods and started forcing some throws (which turned into INTs), but augmog is definitely the biggest cheese guy I've seen in this league. That just proved it for me.

What I don't fucking get is I was down by 2 and I onside kicked it with 40 seconds left and I'm 99% sure my guy recovered it. I was jumping up and down and all of a sudden my defensive formations come up. I got screwed left and right, cheese a bit, didn't play my best game obviously with those damn picks and I still only lost by 2. Really not happy about it.

edit: here's the onside kick. http://www.easports.com/media/play/video/57065229 I have the ball surrounded by 4-5 Jets. No Broncos in sight and not one of them picks it up. Not saying I would've gotten into FG range with 30-40 seconds left, but after all the bullshit I just had to deal with you think they would give me one break.

Wow, just one of those games Uber. To have 6 turnovers and only lose by 2 is impressive. Hopefully I don't have that kind of luck.

Also....Come on NFC, you stragglers!

Wow. When I watched it at first you can pretty clearly see a Broncos player come out of the mess of bodies with it, but if you slow it down the ball seemingly teleported from right between the hands of a Jets player and into that guy's hands. I'm not sure if it's the replay missing some frames or the game though.

That's probably my biggest weakness. When a few things bounce my opponents way like those 2 fumbles in the 1st half then I try to compensate for it by forcing deeper throws that aren't there. The two INTs to Bailey was just Holmes on a streak route. Didn't have any separation and I threw them anyways. I'm pretty sure I threw them one after the other too. That's just something I wouldn't normally do.

As I'm looking at the box score. Moreno's carry average, Tebow's completion percentage, Denver's 3rd down efficiency, and the fact I held them to only 2 TDs... the game was dominated by the Jets. I think if I was able to realize that in game even when I was down by 2-3 early in the 2nd half, I would have approached things differently and at least cut out those 2 picks to Bailey. Take out the INTs and I only threw 2 incompletions. I really blew it.

Do we have a time frame on the NFC games? I believe I saw 6pm EST as the last start time if I'm not mistaken. I'm trying to figure out if I should handoff the commish status while I'm traveling, but i should be back around that time or shortly after anyways.

Under the assumption the rest of us are allowed to start talking trades (as long as they're not consummated before the off-season): My first round pick (should be #21) is on the block. Believe it or not I'm set at WR, so mostly I'd be interested in a good CB or Safety. I'm also willing to deal Santana Moss (who had a very good season for me).

That is true ubernes but other than moreno going for big yard this past season tebow never went or goes for a big day he just doesnt turn the ball over and my defense plays great that my game.

RAY LEWIS SAID IT BEST DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS LOL

Remember what happened with the draft order last year, madden messed it all up for the first round. I think it fixed itself for the other rounds. I am projected as a 9th or 10th round pick, I don't believe it yet.

Ronnie Brown is on the Trading Block for the Dolphins.

Just for fun, what are you looking for?
Just for fun, what are you looking for?
Didn't I say? ;) CBs and Safeties.

I might be in the market for a back, but I need to wait and see how the game progresses Matthews in Year 3.
And now we got some bush league punt return goal line exploit so I can't sneak inches in wtf
It wasn't a punt formation All I did was select goalline defense I pressed LB on the controller to pitch my line inside and then I pressed Y on the controller to show bliz and my saftey was over top Mr. Tyrell Johnson and I put him over the top blizing.. I knew you was going to do a QB sneak. To get around that all you have to do is run a sweep because all my men was inside except for the corners.

Whoops must have missed that part. Well sorry can't help you there:)

Hoping I can land a decent 2nd round player since my 1st round pick is gone. Last year I drafted Boutte RB for Red Worm and I personally thought he was the steal of the draft. Great skillset for a #32 pick.

yeah I just wish I was better at running the ball to use him better, we'll see how he is in season 2

Hate to disagree, but the TE I drafted for the Redskins (late 2nd round) was the steal of the draft. ;) He put up some bananas numbers this season. Plus he has an epic name (Munchie Cosh).

I had two rookies starting this season, though no one at a skill position. My 1st round pick was a C who played all year at RG and I also got a DT in the 3rd who played all year (mostly thanks to how weak I was at that position). Also got a decent FS late, though he got injured.

Forgot all about that guy. And yes that name is awesome.

Anyone know if there's a way to export our online franchise rosters so that we can use them in unranked games for practice? I never thought to check. Would be nice to lab with each other using our actual roster instead of the real-life one.
I'll be entertaining offers on Brady and Moss this offseason. Looking to beef up the defense.
Out of curiosity, are you looking to draft a QB early or are you planning to roll with that one you drafted last season? He seems like a pretty steep step down from Brady, though I certainly understand the sentiment of wanting to use guys you've drafted - in my offline franchise by year 4 or 5 I've usually turned over the roster to solely drafted players. :D

Nope. The best you could do would be editing your own local rosters to match (which would take a while) but there would be no way to use those online, since it requires the latest rosters.

That's definitely a feature they should add, but pigs will fly before they ever do.

There IS a way to use it online, venom and i do it all the time...trying to remember the exact way to do it...but you create your own team..and add the players that you currently have in your online roster to that team, create the logo, team name, etc....then save it.... Once you've invited your xbox live pal to a game, you both load custom teams. The names don't show up on the jerseys(in online games)...but the #'s are there. And the stats match their offline counterparts. Only thing you'd be missing is drafted players.....unfortunately..we have no way of replicating them.

Not really. I PMed Cru when I got up this morning to see when he would be available and I haven't heard back from him yet.
Well there, I just gave them a reason to hook us for Madden 12.
If they put that in Madden 12 I will eat my hat. My grossest most dirty, sweaty 20 year old hat.

I had a rookie CB- Rashard St. Saint (...honestly) that led my team in tackles, and WR- Brandon Tracy had the second most receiving yards on my team.
Also ROLB- Sean Witherspoon (80 OVR) is on the block.
BigAt you around I got off early I can be ready in 25 minutes to play ???
Sure.
I had a rookie CB- Rashard St. Saint (...honestly)

That's excellent.

Impressive for a CB to lead the team in tackles too, I assume he was also your gunner?

lol whoops...i am NEVER posting from my phone again...gosh i am soooo embarrassed!!!! Bears messaged me earlier saying 5:00 p.m. is perfect so i dont know if he'll be able to play before then or even see my message on time

I'm home and ready to play...he isn't online right now so we might not get to play until our scheduled time of 5:00 p.m. EST. But hopefully no later than that...

And as far as "steals of the draft" go...I'd usually think of a "steal" as a player in the later rounds that turns out to be quite a bargain. It would take a lot for me to consider a 1st or 2nd rounder as a "steal" since they're expected (at least in this league) to be automatic starters and to have pretty good stats. I drafted a CB in the 5th or 6th round that turned out to have a B potential and an 83 in man coverage. I consider him MY steal of the draft...he would definitely start for my team if I didn't already have 4 good CB's (Gamble, Marshall, Wilson, Munnerlyn). He did start when Munnerlyn went out for 8 weeks or so and he had 11 deflections and a beautiful pick six where he jumped the route perfectly...he's probably the draft pick that I'm most excited about seeing progress in the future.

Brandon Jacobs (12 rushes, 137 yards) was beastin' all game and Corey Webster had two extremely clutch interceptions, each coming in the end zone, as the Giants defeated the 49ers 24-10.

New York now waits in the NFC Championship game for the winner of the Carolina/Chicago game.

I won't be home again until around 6pm est anyways. But if the final game is done by then I can advance us. (MA, this is how you post from your phone :))

Good game BigAt, I can't win when I don't score in the Redzone , or make important third down catches.

Oo well we will go into next season with our heads held high and look to go 16 and 0 and make a stronger appearance in the superbowl.

Good luck with that.

My goal is to finish in every place in the division. Next season I'll finish 3rd and then in season 4 when Mog and Doom have gotten bored of the league I'll win it. :D
