Thanks gg man, your running game was killing me so I'm lucky I got to an early lead. Mine on the other hand...13 carries for 19 yards.
And just to clear some things up: Mike Goodson (HB) is my second string WR. He's rated a 70 as a WR (he has a 79 CTCH rating) so he's technically tied for my best rated WR at the moment with LaFell out due to injury. And come on...he only broke away on ONE pass play the entire game. It was nothing special, he just managed to beat the press so I threw a quick pass to him and he ran for 40+ yards after the catch. He had TWO PASSES the entire game and one was a 4 yard TD pass at the goal line. You make it seem like I was passing it to him the entire game and exploiting him somehow. I don't think the game gives HBs an advantage when they're lined up at WR...it's just based on their stats. Mike Goodson has a 96 ACC rating and 77 Release (which I know isn't great, but it's the best on my team and plenty enough to beat the press from time to time). When my opponent presses with his DBs, the first thing I look for is for my receiver to push off and get open right from the start. Goodson only managed that one time the whole game (and if I'm not mistaken, you were pressing with your DBs fairly often). And Mike Goodson is the only HB I have in the WR position, everyone else are legitimate WR's. You said you were "getting shredded by low rated HBs that were playing WR" so just wanted to clear that up too.
If anyone thinks it's fishy at all to put an HB in the WR position then I'll take him out of my already horrible receiving lineup and replace him, but I've never heard any complaints about that and don't see why there would be. If you look at Goodson's stats for the season, they're pretty standard for a 2nd string or 3rd string WR so he's obviously not being exploited by any means. And the game automatically has Mike Goodson as my 3rd string WR on the depth chart anyways (cause it does it by rating), so it wasn't like I put him in there thinking "what's the next exploit I can come up with today...".
