Huh...the rosters in-game are up to date?

My QB didn't budge...rookie with A potential, and Byrd went DOWN, also A potential. He did get hurt. Posluszny went up to 90 from 89, and my barely-used 2nd WR rookie went from 79 to 85, tying him with Evans for top receiver on the team.

What a disappointment on Robinson, though. I expected him to improve somewhat, but his stats look identical.

EDIT: Wait, now I see him as an 83 OVR. I've been up for way too long. Don't mind me. I need sleepp....

EDIT AGAIN: Wow, Spiller's up to 87. He could be another Bradshaw from the other league in the making. Good stuff. Still majorly bummed about Byrd though.

Rosters in game and on the EA site are up to date. Xtreme site are not.

I think it's safe to assume playing time has nothing to do with progression. An end I never used went from 65 to 70. A CB I used maybe 10-15 times all season went from 47 to 54. On the other hand, McKnight I used a lot more than I did his rookie year and he went from 74 to 79 but I guess we have to chalk that up to coincidence. Weird that the two rookies I didn't touch progressed nicely, but Baldwin who played every snap didn't move at all. Maybe he needed more time with the practice squad...

Draft day is almost certainly Sunday at 11pm EST/after SNF. Monday at 11pm EST is closely behind (one person to be exact), so it could swing that way if more people respond, but as of now expect Sunday night. I'll probably have to confirm this Saturday afternoon so everyone has plenty of time to figure it out.

If we do end up doing a time you can't make (Matt and 11pm EST Sunday comes to mind) AND you have a high draft pick (also Matt), shoot me a PM and maybe we can work something out.

Pretty much no one on my team either progressed or regressed much from a quick glance, which I'm fine with. Matthews was the biggest mover, now up to 88 overall. A couple of my vets dropped a point or two, but nothing major. Can't see the retirements from the franchise website, but I don't see anyone major missing. Will drop my guys pre-draft tonight.

And congrats mog! While 16-0 is a noble goal but as for who's gonna stop you, remember you play in the Division of Doom, so there's 3 pretty damned good players who will be trying.

Merry Christmas all!

Wow! Rookies CB-Rashard St. Saint and DE- Dion Cooper went from 80-86 and 80-85 respectively. Also rookie WR Brandon Tracy progressed from 64-74.
Also- Merry Christmas to everyone

Cowboys and Cardinals are officially announcing the Tony Romo (89OVR) Jamarcus Austin (90OVR) trade. This was proposed prior just never executed.

Looking to trade for a DT or a good LB. Willing to give up my first round draft pick, contact me if interested.

TB Bucs have DT McCoy, 1st, 2nd round picks, FS 75 OVR Sean Jones, MLB Rudd, and RT 77 OVR for trade. Also possibly Breaston 82 OVR or Mike Williams 79 OVR in the right deal. Looking to improve CB, FS, DE, RT. Also looking to move into top 10 for Draft.

Anyone want to trade for Nick Hardwick - C - 84 OVR (30 years old, B potential)? My second-year Center progressed up to a 90. Am looking for a Right Tackle of around the same rating.

That is fine by me. Uber when can this be executed?

That 90 speed rookie re is a beast. I have a 85 speed le and he absolutely smokes just about any o-line.

Congrats mog for the superbowl win.

Good work on the awards as well doom.

That's a pretty staggering statistic. The AFC West, where hopes and dreams go to die. :bomb:
Pats looking for a good re/le/olb/ss or high draft picks
I'd be willing to trade Shaun Phillips, LOLB 89 OVR. I'd love to get Devin McCourty, but there's a bunch of Pats I'd be interested in.

Edit: I'm also willing to trade Luis Castillo, LE. He's also an 89, at either left or right end (pretty good DT as well).

I would definitely say 2012 since a trade at this point would only affect next season's roster. It wouldn't make sense for it to count for the 2011 season since you won't even be using that player for a single game in 2011.

I suppose that makes sense, though I'm not entirely sure since the point is more about roster continuity than how or when the players are used (which would argue more for them counting against the 2011 number, since many teams didn't use their allotment).. Especially for draft picks, since every other 2011 draft pick counted towards Season 2 than any traded now should as well..

Maybe you could split the core number evenly across the two seasons?

I would agree with MA and say that is counts for the upcoming season. Once the trade deadline is passed, trades are done for that year. The Super Bowl is over. We're in the offseason for 2012, so it would count for 2012 season.

Well one possible concern I have: since these trades are going to count towards the 2012 season...if draft picks are involved, then are those going to be implemented in the 2013 draft instead? I think we should consider making an exception and allow those to go towards tonight's draft. I'm in the process of making a trade where I'll be giving up a 3rd round pick and I'm sure my opponent doesn't want to have to wait another entire season to cash in on that when we already have a draft happening later tonight.

Ummm, whatever is has been in the past I assume. I would need to dig that up I suppose. I don't think it's in the OP. I can do that tomorrow.

Also it looks like all the teams are taken besides the Browns now.

edit: MA, you lost me. You can of course trade 2012 picks still and I suppose if you traded them during the 2011 season they would count towards that, but let's just say every trade going forward counts towards your 2012 trade 'cap'. Simple enough, no?

Yeah it looks like I did lose you lol. Okay I guess it would be easier to just give a specific example. If early tomorrow I wanted to trade a 5th round draft pick for Darrelle Revis (fingers crossed!!!), would you be cashing in on that 5th round draft pick in tomorrow night's draft? Or is it going to be a 5th round draft pick in the 2013 draft? Since we just said any trades made before tomorrow night's draft would go toward 2012's "core number" rule...that would imply that those trades are being made in the 2012 season. When you trade draft picks, it's always for the next season's draft...this is a weird case since we're making trades the day of the draft day.

What I'm saying has nothing to do with the "cap". Let me know if you're still confused...it's 4 a.m. so I very well might not be making my question as clear as I'm hoping.
