Madden 11 League-OFFICIAL CAG LEAGUE-That's all folks! Mini-tourney still coming tho!
I just noticed I played the conference of doom this year :bomb:
The AFC East played them last year and I went 3-1. So they're not that tough.

How'd the rest of your division do?

Edit: I looked it up. 2-10. The two? A sim win for the Pats against me and a Dolphins beatdown of the Chiefs the week sprice was suspended.

Damn, Webb is active. Stupid Favre trying to mess up my fantasy playoffs two weeks running. I benched Webb in both my $$$ championships. :(
I think Jonathan Joseph might have St. Saint beat this week. He also had two picks, 1 for a TD, but also had 4 tackles (and a bunch of PDs, though I'm not sure whether that factors in).

I've never won one of those things in either league since I typically don't put up big stats, so I'm hoping Joseph can make me proud. :D
St. Saint also had a td of 95 yards. I think you may have me beat in tackles though.
I only worry about the Jets, you know that. :D
Indeed. You were the only person outside of the AFC West who beat me last season in a non-simmed game. 4-0 against the NFC, 4-2 against the rest of the AFC (one of which was a sim loss) and 1-1-4 in the division.
If it makes you feel any better, he was instrumental in beating your division rival.
week 10... week 10... week 10...
Don't forget about me Deuce. I got something for you.
JD Nealy and Rumbling Ray are lickin their chops
Trade up for review:

Deon Butler WR (26 yrs old, B pot, 79 ovr) Orlando Scandrick CB of Dallas (26 yrs old, B pot, 77 ovr)
Finally I get some wr talent back. Let's see what I can do.

Eric Berry might have both of them beat this week.

Sorry Sprice, been out all day long and I am in the West Coast so best time for me is generally after 9 EST. Also please pm if you need to contact me. I am not on a computer all day and don't really get a chance to browse the forum during day time. I do however get the pm's to my email and I can check that much more often.

But 2m at 12 EST should be good for me.

Update:

Jags/Packers (2-3pm EST tomorrow)
Eagles/Rams (tomorrow AM)
Chiefs/Bucs (noon EST tomorrow)

We'll advance after Jags/Packers tomorrow.

Fantasy update: I won one $ league, lost another. Pretty upset about it even though I'm still walking away with some decent money. The Joe Webb benching did me in, but it didn't help that DeSean Jackson didn't score and Vick couldn't get anything going on that final drive. If I started Webb I would've won both, one of them in pretty much a blowout. Oh well. :/

seems there was some trouble in the locker room following the loss to the Bengals, the Patriots should be having a press conference soon with some news

-news from Foxboro-

Following the Bengals and Patriots game there was an altercation in the locker room involving wide receiver Randy Moss and new quarterback Pat White. Allegedly there were some words going back and forth between these two and quarterback Tom Brady. "We were both telling him to get his hair cut cause he looked like a damn tool" said Moss when asked about what happened. "I told him maybe he could hit his receivers downfield if he cut that damn mop on his head" qb White said. Brady wouldn't comment on the situation.

The Patriots didn't want to have problems all season in the locker room between the players so today they are announcing a trade.

The Patriots send Randy Moss 95 ovr A pot and Pat White 74 ovr B pot to Cincinatti in exchange for Aspha Savage 94 ovr A pot strong safety and a 4th round pick
pending league review

tom brady is a tool...and lets get this trade thur pat white is ready for week 2

Savage is a rookie or 2nd year guy (not sure what draft he went in), so I would say that makes it pretty fair. I don't think White = 4th rounder, which is why it's good Savage is younger than Moss. Evens the thing out. I'll wait for more opinions, but I have no problem putting this through before we advance at 3-4pm EST tomorrow.

Also, if I didn't comment on your trade, please feel free to PM me or repost it. Some things just get lost in the shuffle and I was away from my laptop for most of the day today. I will go through the thread and dig it up tomorrow, but if you really want to get my attention repost it/PM it to me.
Hmm good trade, I do think the pick involved needs to be a 3rd though.

Either way, I say go ahead.
I was going to ask for higher but the age difference the SS is in his 2nd year and moss is getting a bit grey.
The real Belicheck would've gotten a 2nd rounder.
Actually he only got a 3rd rounder for Moss, not even a player back. Still a coup based on how things have gone for both parties since.

And I have no real problem with that trade, I look forward to being the first team the Bengals face with Moss, especially if they try to force him the ball. Joseph is waiting. :D

Hey red, do you want to trade me two-time pro-bowler Brandon Meriweather?

I can't even say it with a straight face. What a joke that is, Meriweather is a thoroughly mediocre player.
For the record, I traded Pat White to the Patsies for a 3rd Round Pick.
I'm happy with what I got out of him and what I paid to get him

0-1 Passing, 1 INT

1 Rush, -12 yards

We define happiness differently I guess. ;)
