Lol did anyone look at the stats for the Bengals vs. Steelers game this week? Mike Wallace - 25 catches for 738 yards and 11 touchdowns...that is more yards/TDs in one game than any of my receivers have for the entire season.

^^^ Yeah I just saw that. I was going to pm uber about what do about this when factoring everything together for the rewards race. 700 yds passing for big ben (8 td's) 738 yds receiving for Mike Wallace (11 Td's)

I would definitely factor it in. And I would recommend not running the score up against the CPU because it throws off these end of the season awards and greatly skews yours and your opponent's points for-points against.

When I put together the FA priority list, the Steelers probably bumped themselves up a few picks too haha.
 
Yeah, that's basically the reason the end of season awards didn't work last time (I remember because it was me trying to do them). The stats were just too skewed by CPU games, though I don't think there was anything that ridiculous.

Though I'm more curious how he managed to give up 54 points to the CPU.

Other than that 80 point beatdown at the beginning of the season(chiefs i think), the CPU games haven't really been out of hand. I'll see what I can come up with.
 
I mean, I beat the CPU 59-6 this week and only managed 424 yards passing.. I have no idea how you even get to 825 yards passing, haha

Bills/Browns attempted a game earlier in the week and had connection issues. I haven't seen him around today, but I'm watching the Giants game now anyways. He was fine with just simming it, I just hope connection issues with me aren't going to continue.

Thankfully, neither of us are in a divisional race or anything, unlike last time with the vikes.

Well, after a REALLY shitty day dealing with my phone breaking and my car dying on me, I finally get home and check Xbox Live to notice Ltor has removed me from his friends list -- which, after numerous failed attempts to get him to get our game in last night, I'd say he's due for a fresh boot in the ass right out of the league.

I don't know about you, but that's just me.

If that's the case, then I can get the game in sometime before midnight tonight.

If not, just sim it. I really don't fucking care at this point.

hey guys, i think i may have to drop out of the league for awhile. Things are pretty crazy at work, ive been pretty sick, and im in the process of planning a wedding.

Ive tried to keep up, but i think ive gotten in over my head the last couple weeks. I dont want to screw anyone up waiting around for me anymore, so i think its probably the best way to go.

I'd still be interested in the occasional scrimmage if anyone is up for it as practice, but i just dont think i can commit right now.
 
So much for my 3-0 fantasy start. I was playing a terrible 0-3 team and have now lost both my QBs to injury: Vick and Cutler, who managed to net me a total of 1 point. Amazingly, I could still probably win but it would require a monster game from Brandon Marshall against my Pats, so at this point I'll probably just take the loss and hope neither QB misses much time.

For those of you in keeper or dynasty leagues, may I recommend Ryan Torain? May be a week late, but if he's still on your dynasty waiver wires, pick him up. Portis looks like he's running in quicksand more and more as the weeks go by.
 
Okay, well I just temp booted the Titans so the Colts could play their game.

Since the Bucs left, the Redskins can now play the CPU. Sort of short notice, so I hope you weren't trying to reach jbrun with no luck and if you were I apologize if I end up simming it but you should keep me updated on that sort of thing.

Lions/Packers were supposed to be played around 9pm EST, maybe they waited until after the Giants-Bears game? I don't know, but they have some time now to check in here and let me know what's up. Once the Colts finish playing the CPU and I get off Dragon Age, I will likely sim if I don't hear from anyone.
 
We should at least give the Redskins the chance to play, since he might have been trying to contact jbrun (though as you point out, he didn't post any updates).. Mostly because along with the Colts, that game also matters since the Redskins are still in the hunt.
 
I'd rather have someone just take over the Redskins and beat the CPU Bucs, to be honest haha. Any volunteers? I mean if he played it it would be an auto-W so I don't think it's unfair to anyone else fighting for a playoff spot.

edit: We'll hold off advancing until tomorrow afternoon/evening. I'll get in touch with Kay, and wait to hear from Lions/Packers. Worst case scenario, I take over the Redskins tomorrow afternoon and advance us then.

Ah damn, tried a new playbook and Gameflow'd the shit out of that game trying to get it done in a hurry so you could advance, lol. First game, first quarter had Vince Young and Robert Mathis get hurt so I restarted right away. Next game Gameflow gave me the shittiest play selection, and besides the fact that I was in a rush, I played horrible and almost lost to the CPU Titans. The fact that the game went to OT is embarrassing enough. :lol:

Hasn't been brought up in awhile, but are we following up on keeping with the actual NFL traded draft picks? (I.E. 1st round to New England from Oakland for DT Richard Seymour)

I think it was BV that brought it up initially and I don't remember if we got a official word on it yet or not.

Good to hear, I think it's a good idea, though it will definitely be a pain. We should probably only do the first 3-4 rounds, no point in doing all the 7th round picks. Something tells me Madden Oakland's pick isn't going to be quite as high as Real Oakland's pick. :D

Now to comment on the honoring real life draft picks I think we should at minimum go five rd but if you are going to do it I would prefer just doing all seven since it seems the most fair ? I mean the draft doesn't take that long anyway.
 
I did get back yesterday, but I ended up getting incredibly sick and was up all night vomiting. At least it didn't happen while I was in Vegas. I thought I was going to simply get temp-booted so itlnstln could play the CPU if I wasn't able to play by 9 P.M. Eastern. ItlnStln, the PM you sent me on Friday morning was after I had left. I was on the road around noon Eastern.

Redworm, do you want to play Wednesday night?
 
Earliest I can play is whenever I get home from work. I'd say 5:30ish is probably the earliest, I'll just hop on when I get home and see if you're on, and if not I'll post in here.

I was just thinking since 7th round picks are mostly irrelevant anyway, and there are SO many of them which have been traded, it might not be worth doing those. We also have to be careful to only do the picks which were traded before we started the league, so for example I wouldn't give up a pick for Patrick Crayton since that trade was made after our rosters were set.
 
if we're keeping up with real draft pick trades... i owe my 5th rounder to the seahawks and i should have josh wilson on my team. i think i am owed a draft pick as well for mark clayton.
