Madden 11 League-OFFICIAL CAG LEAGUE-That's all folks! Mini-tourney still coming tho!

As Quickly as the Tavaris Jackson era ended, it began once again. Minnesota came out after the kickoff and started off like a House on Fire. It looked as if they would be first on the Board, Rosenfels hit Rice inside the 10 but he was hit along the sideline and the ball was jarred loose left barely in play along the sideline. It would be recovered by Kansas City and it was all downhill from there. Rosenfels was pressured as he dropped back and hit hard, He was assisted off the field and would not return (Diagnosed with Meniscus Tear Out for 3 Weeks.)

I waited a while before I went to Tavaris, and considering I should've put him in sooner. It got close towards the end, but eventually the deficit was just too much to overcome. Peterson was held under wraps, for the most part I had to shy away from the run especially when I went down by 3 Scores.

Final Score: Kansas City 45, Minnesota 31.

That game was ridiculous. My defense is like a screen door on a submarine, it was letting everything by and sinking us quickly. Stephen Jackson was injured and out for the game (at least it wasn't a long term injury) so Bradford had to throw throw throw.

After the game we completed our trade, and I think Cooley is going to be amazing in the Rams offense.

Still looking to trade Jackson by the way.

It's been a high scoring season overall, though that's not atypical for Madden.

Lot of scoring in the real NFL too. I took until Week 8 before we saw our first shutout. :D (Sorry ub, had to say something. ;))

Hey Doom I am having an update issue...Dashboard update wont download...Im trying to get on! but the update never starts downloading..anyone with any advice?
 
So, uh... the deadline is supposed to be tomorrow or Wednesday, and I still haven't been told who I'm playing. I'm not really being given much of a chance to get my game in, am I? I can play today if we start by 10:15 P.M. Eastern or so, or tomorrow if we start at or before 8:15 P.M. Eastern.

bvharris- I decided I'd like to hold on to my rookie DT, Buie, but I'm still open to trading BJ Raji as part of a deal if you're interested.

Same deal otherwise? I think I'd be open to that, their ratings seem pretty comparable and Raji is still relatively young.

I thought we'd found someone to play as the Lions this week? If no one steps in to play as a sub you should obviously get to play the CPU, but I think someone will step in.
 
Yeah, that should work. Raji is only 25 years old at the point we're at in the franchise, and was the 9th overall pick in the 2009 draft. I think his overall rating is the same as Buie's.

As far as someone playing as the Lions, I think half the league has offered, but no one ever gave me a definitive answer as to who I'm playing.

They're all available. Phillips is going to be the hardest to get away from me obviously, but he's not untouchable. I'm a bit weary on trading Merriman unless I'm getting another ROLB back, only because English is injured, but for the right trade I'd do it.

I'm looking for 80+ CBs, WRs, and D-line help, in that order.

Do you know Raji's potential off the top of your head? Is it A or B?
 
gg Doom. Bears got crushed. Couldn't stop runs to the right or slot crosses and when I did couldn't stop the QB run. Brutal

gg man. You had me scared in that first quarter. I thought Campbell was done for the season after that hit and fumble. Can't wait until McFadden is back.

But now I've lost Wimbley for 4 weeks. That really sucks. Oh well the show must go on.

Otherwise, uber needs to specify who is doing what, and when. Or this deadline needs to be extended.

Darth came forward and said he would. I gave that the okay. This was at least a day or 2 ago.

I don't really care who takes them over tbh. Hydro can. Siradam can. Hell, if there's a real scheduling issue play the CPU.
 
You said he could if he wanted to, but that you had already PM'ed Adam about it. Then about 439 people volunteered, and nothing was made clear.

Darth PM'ed me asking to set a time in the next 24 hours, so I'm going to see what I can work out with him.

So I was perusing the transaction history and I noticed that the Redskins had signed Justin Miller. I thought we were only allowed to sign players who had been on our team last year and were pre-draft cuts, which I don't believe Miller was in this case? Miller is a very good return man, we should be waiting for the free agent period.

I'm sure the Redskins just didn't know the rule.. He hasn't used him in a game so no harm done.. Can you release him back to the FA pool please?

No issue with this one. 2-for-1 for Jackson seems fair, especially since the Rams are getting back two young 80+ (well, 80) players with good upside.
 
Ahmadulation (Bengals) and me are trying to play our game right now and the game won't load...it takes forever to get into the game and then it just says connection lost before the coin toss or anything...this is frustrating

That should not be happening unless one of his CBs retired and he should run it by me first anyways. Kay, drop Miller when you get a chance.
