Madden 11 League-OFFICIAL CAG LEAGUE-That's all folks! Mini-tourney still coming tho!

Another close game through my fingertips...great game Pats. 20-17 final on a Gostkowski GW FG.

I got the ball back with about a minute left and THREW ANOTHER PICK. Ack D:

By the way, that hail mary at the end of the half was complete shit luck. I was throwing to Evans, and the TE caught it somehow. So you should have won beforehand anyways, sorta.

Write off the Bills, we're finished. Just can't close out games.

Oh, and Stevie Johnson is starting to look like his real-life counterpart...he had 4 receptions for 213 and a TD. Yikes.

yeah I was cheering to myself when I punted it out at the 1 at the end of half then gasping when you reeled in that crazy td

darius butler became a man today and stepped up with 2 ints and that 2nd one sealed the game for me

my running game is starting to come together a bit, still need to get better at this game quite a bit

I still can't even believe I made that field goal, my kicker has been kinda garbage all season

Nealy and Baldwin better watch out...MY rookie CB just got his first interception of the season! The race for DPOY has just gotten a whole lot more interesting. It was a beautiful pick though...he jumped the short curl route and took it back for six.

Oh and two more picks for Beason, so you guys better step your games up!! SHOULD have been 3...but the ball bounced off Beason's hands and right into Greg Jennings.

Good game Matt.

also my last post on the subject... you can give yourself all the credit in the world, but if you check my posts after all my games, win or lose, I don't mention the other team or user in it unless they put up big numbers or completely obliterate me.

the Otogwe pick... my receiver had one man beat and the other was in front of him. the ball was thrown to the inside shoulder...away from both defenders. Mcclain caught it, got hit, and coughed the ball up. It was a small window but the pass was perfect.

the polamalu pick... flacco got hit while throwing. enough said.

the taylor pick... good d.

I'm not saying your inferior or anything like that... but I don't like the dumb stuff that goes on in these games. it ain't just me and it doesn't happen just when I play you. the crossing routes are the only thing I gripe about exclusively with u. it's whatever, see u in the playoffs or next season.

What day you get back from the funeral?
Probably not until Tuesday evening..

Oh, I was going to sub in for venom this week but obviously someone else will have to fill in.. I can pick them up for the next game.
Sure.
Just wanted to make sure to get approval first. Thank you.

As for Venom, I know he said before that he might not have XBL access, but he was talking like he'd be able to play me in our NBA 2K11 league playoff series, so I don't know what his situation is.

Hydro...when can u play? I will be on tonight sometime for an online dynasty offseason around 7 est. I can play after that.

If tonights no good, then we can shoot for tomorrow after 6 est

just a thought, my rookie TE Cosh not only should be offensive rookie of the year, but offensive player of the year, anyone who played the Redskins what yall think???

You're going to crown yourself when there are still 6 games remaining?

of course not, just gettin his name out there, starting my campain

Judging from the stats alone (since I've never played you), I don't think you can make much of a case for Cosh even as the "receiver of the year"...let alone offensive player of the year. There are 2-3 receivers off the top of my head that have been more productive than Cosh (Mike Wallace, Desean Jackson, maybe Brandon Marshall) with around 1400 yards and 15/16 touchdowns. And just from the website, Cosh has 14 drops with around 60 catches? That's more than one drop for every 5 he catches. He's no doubt a contender for Offensive Rookie of the Year (might already have it in the bag), but Offensive Player of the Year is quite the stretch.

yeah i feel you but all the others you named are WRs ,so by him being a TE and mixing it up with linbackers and making catches across the middle of the field primarily you can understand the 14 drop, but i hear what you saying

how you get to the website???

Offensive Player of the Year WILL BE Sam Bradford. Wait for it.

Look at his WR/TE's stats. There is no star. Bradford throws to everyone, and while he still has a good amount of INT's, he has cut those back significantly from last year.
Ughhhhh. Gg venom. (how are you so good at intercepting?)
I'm not sure, I just decided a few days ago to start playing safety. I gave up a few but I think I did decent the first go around. I enjoyed that Pick with Abdullah, he seemed to come out of nowhere. Good News: Sergio Brown will only be out another two weeks! I started Ricky Watters at SS (He's only a 55 but he's like a 95 speed). We had one if the craziest games I've ever seen, it went from more of a defensive battle to an all out offensive showdown. Seemed like there was a crazy amount of points scored within a period of a few minutes.

Darius Heyward-Bey stepped it up again his line was 6 for 120 and 2 TDs. He's really fitting in nicely, rarely drops a pass and he's caught a TD and eclipsed 100 Yards every game thus far. Can't wait to get Sergio Brown back, I can move Husain Abdullah to SS. Either that or keep Watters or Hope starting.

I was furious with myself at halftime: first I dropped what looked like a sure td pass. Then you take it to the house next play on a pic. Then we thirty seconds I throw a pic and you take it in the next play. Then you return the kickoff for a td. Then next play I overthrow a wide open roddy white by 1 step. Gahh. Your pics really changed the game. And im pretty sure abdul teleported to infront of my wr ;) again gg

Definitely was an exciting game, gg again. Haha Yes Abdullah has godlike teleportation powers :) I'm not sure how many more games I'll be able to get in, as of the 9th I'll be on the road for three days straight and after that I'll have limited access to xbox. Like I said I'm not sure of the situation yet as far as doing any games. If I can't, whoever wants to sub is good with me. I'll be home before Jan 3rd.

If that happens, what percentage of his bonus check is my finder's fee? :D

I'm trying to work Brandon Boutte up into OROY contention.

This dude is FAST, I just gotta keep trying to learn how to move him better sometimes.
Hey EA Sports,

When an offense fumbles the ball and recovers, its NOT an automatic first down.
yea that was BS I felt bad, I thought that you had recovered that fumble anyway, It sucks to just have lost Vernon Davis for 3 weeks on the first play of the game, when this is arguably my 3 toughest weeks. Oh well I will have to adjust the game plan again.

Good Game though tough start,I will take credit for the Interception, the fumbles was luck though, Def one of them because I do not even think I hit strip ball.

um... about this OPOY... Ray Rice is all i have to say about that. Depending on how far we get, MVP might be what he's aiming for

*Adrian Peterson steps in*

DeAngelo Williams vs Adrian Peterson will be interesting considering he's got the lead in Yardage and we are tied in TDs.
Browns/Titans
Colts/Texans
Bears/Chiefs

is all we're waiting on. what's up with these?
Haven't had any response from the Chiefs yet...

Anyone know how to report cheating for madden online? My opponent has had about 30 encroachment penalties on a PAT and they haven't booted him yet.

Hydro... if we advance before 7:45, i should be able to play right away. If not, then i'll be free when i get back home around midnight, or tomorrow after 6

The Chiefs GO FOR IT ON 4 AND 2 AT THE 3 YARD LINE!!!!! AFTER I HAD STOPPED HIM AND THE CLOCK ON 3RD DOWN WITH UNDER 2 TO PLAY.
HE WAS ALREADY UP BY 2 POINTS AND SCORES THE TOUCHDOWN ON 4TH AND 2.

AFTER THE KICKOFF
The Bears complete a 72 yard Hail Mary to Devin Hester to go down 2 yet again. The Bears of course go for the onside kick and by some luck of the madden god recover it. (probably punishment for the chiefs not playing fair or playing by the CAG league rules by going for it on 4th down in the fourth quarter in the redzone). Cutler then finds Hester again on a 67 yard bomb to take the game.

40-35! DA BEARS!
