Deuce is fine. And its not BS at all, you scheduled your game for the last day and you didn't show for it, Matt spent at least an hour waiting for you.

it is because im in college and i figured i would be back at my apt before the time me and matt planned.... but my power cord was left at home. it not like i missed the deadline because i didnt want to play i was on the road.....BV your a bitch. i just asked for a extra day when my cord when my cord got to me is that so bad smh

You scheduled a game for the day of the deadline, this is going to happen sometimes when that's the case. Anyone in the league in your situation would be subbed for, you happen to be getting a very good sub in Deuce. There isn't a lot of precedent for us holding the league up for a single game when there is a sub available, so I'm not sure what you are so bent out of shape about.

We Advanced Tuesday night after the Draft. 7? or 8 Games got Completed that same Night. Let's Count. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, ALL DAY Saturday. That's 4 days. That's 1 day longer than most of our previous weeks. The reason bv isn't allowing another day is the same reason ubernes wouldn't. We dont make exceptions for one game, and we never will. Some of us (myself included) PLAN games AHEAD of time knowing exactly when we'll advance in preperation for another quick advance.

IF you think deuce subbing for you is unfair, you're being completely unreasonable.

Plan your games ahead of time. Early in the week. Then theres less chance of failure when things like the following happen: "traffic, injury, hospital visits, internet outages, xbox crashes, power outages, power cords left at home"
 
I think sometimes we need to remember that this is a game and we're in this league to have fun. Personal attacks accomplish nothing.

I understand mog's frustration, nobody likes being subbed for, especially when it was an honest mistake like leaving his cord. I don't mind being the bad cop, as long as people understand it's not personal - We apply the rules evenly to everyone. If it were me in his situation, I'd have someone sub for me too.
 
We've advanced. Ubernes will set the official deadline, but I'd imagine it will be Tuesday-ish. Let's try to get it wrapped up Monday though!
 
I'm firmly convinced Madden cheats for the Packers... nothing Matt Young did, but there was no shortage of bullshit in this game. Mog, your receivers wouldn't catch the ball at all until late in the fourth and your secondary wouldn't cover anyone past seven yards. I made it a game but there wasnt much I could do
 
In season 1 I had similar luck against Mog in game one and then his AI players got 6 interceptions (Mog had a user pick on top of those) on me in our second meeting. Seems like division games feel different. But I was happy with my performance, leading 21-3 til that run at the end and not being hurt by the pick I threw on the 1 yard line.

Seattle moves to 2-0 against a tough Cowboys team. Things started off slow for the Seahawks but they were able to finish strong. Ray Rice rushed for 210yds on 19 carries and scored 4 more times. Freeman passed for 181yds but threw two disappointing INTs.

Jason Witten was able to amass 159 yds and 2 TDs against the Seahawks defense. The Cowboys played well and it took me awhile to get much going. GG Cobra!

Alright, guys. With the holiday weekend coming to a close we'll be back to our regular weeks. I've set the deadline for Tuesday evening. I don't think that should be a problem. Let me know if you have any trouble reaching your opponent.
 
Week 2: Dolphins @ Eagles
Dolphins: 35
Eagles: 26

In a Game where the Dolphins Showed up 15 Minutes late to the field.. (Sorry Pacer!) And showed some lackluster defense at times, the offense picks up the ball and ran with it... literally.

Miami's Defense: 3 Interceptions, 1 Sack,1 Forced Fumble
Miami's Offense: 95 Yards Passing, 2 TD / 359 Rushing Yards, 3 Touchdowns

Eagles Defense: 1 Sack, 2 Interceptions
Eagles Offense: 249 Yards Passing, 2 TD / 18 Rushing Yards, 1 Touchdown

Dolphins thought they had the game wrapped up at the end of the 2nd Quarter....Then Got really. really. stupid. Up 14-3 with 50 seconds left in the half, Newcomer throws a pick to Asomugha. 11 Yards Later, Maclin Scores. Then it was a back and forth affair until the very end.

so after two games in which I struggled to move the ball, i'm feelin like the Super Bowl hangover paired with the departure of DWill and Smitty is taking a toll on my offense. I understand that part of it... but my defense is non-existent. Everyone who was there last season is back and i added a faster, better FS (who's only played 1/2 qtr of football this season) but it's like i have a whole new team. We cant stop the run at all, we dont cover anyone down the field, we dont get any pressure on the QB. I have no clue what to do. It's frustrating to say the least because these are the same people that made life hell for the teams that I played... and although i've changed nothing about the defense, they are ridiculously bad right now...
 
Panthers 17 @ Falcons 20 (OT)

Deuce started the game off with a kick return TD, but the Falcons bounced back and scored on 57 yard Michael Turner rushing TD on the very next drive. Not much else happened until Matt Ryan threw a 8 yard TD pass to Tom Santi to bring the score to 7-14. With time winding down in the half Cam Newton threw a 6 yard TD pass to Greg Olsen to bring the score to 14-14 going into the half. In the 3rd and 4th quarter the Falcons and Panthers exchanged FG, including a FG by the Panthers as time expired to send the game into OT (17-17). The 3rd play in OT, Deuce threw a nice pass to Olsen, but William Moore ran up and hit sticked him knocking the ball loose and the Falcons recovered it at their own 20. Matt Bryant then kicked the 32 yard FG for the win. Good game Deuce.
