Quitting should be 1.5 strikes. 2 times and you're gone.
I don't disagree, but it's hard to prove 100%.

I agree. I dont see the point in quitting a tie game that late, but I have been wrong before.
SEA - 13
PITT - 16

Not much to say as this was a fairly uneventful game. Freeman got sacked twice before he took a step back, I had to pinch the line on every single play to get any time in the pocket. Rothlisberger can throw 60+ yard bombs in pouring rain and the Steeler's LB core kept me from running the ball.
GG staticz

You are correct bout the game being pretty uneventful.

Mike Wallace is back and when I saw staticz bring down his safety twice, I took advantage of the 1v1 coverage.

Very good game

Yeah my only complaint was the damn rain, oh and I wish I had your defense :)

Yeah the rain is the worst and it's nice to have my D even though they might be the slowest in the game. Ha
Hard to prove but disconnecting with 5 seconds left as the field goal is about to be kicked? Sounds like a rage quit to me.
I agree with this. If it was tied and just on the 40 or something, sure, let's talk about it. But game winning FG lined up... A bit shady. He also hasn't popped in here to explain it yet so that doesn't look good either.

Considering he was on Modern Warfare 3 afterwards, I think it's safe to assume he did. Just appeared offline afterwards.

Agreed, that's probably too much to be a coincidence. He's my brother's friend, I'll ask him if he can find out what the deal is.

This is a good refresher to some of the new owners to some teams that were recently made available. Please read the original post on how to contact your opponent to set up a game. I personally like pm's and not x box live messages. I don't always login to check the x box live messages.

I second this.
Second note, let's go Colts (Uber will get it)
Assuming you're talking about today's game, I don't see the Pats covering the 21, but I'd be shocked if they didn't win by 2 scores.

Doom, can you let me know when Prez might be available today?
I am talking about the Colts-Pats game today. I just hope Orlovsky doesn't get crushed.
Dan Olovsky has never played in an NFL game which his team won. Needless to say, if his first were today I'd be pretty despondent.

I don't know about anyone else, but I actually hate games like this where my team is so overwhelmingly favored. It's way more nerve-wracking to consider the possibility of losing those than losing to a good team.
Haha, I'm well aware of Orlovsky's futility. He was a year ahead of Uber and I in high school.
GO GAELS! Haha.

He's going to need some time if the Raiders end up losing to the Dolphins

Looking like he'll need some time.. I'll be around all night.

Yeah I'll let him know. I knew this was a trap game.
Who are these Dolphins and what have they done with my "Suck for Luck" team?
I have no idea who this team is.

Cam Newton now holds the record for most rushing TDs by a QB in a season :applause:... not sure if I wanna get excited about this tho since we have a Pro Bowl RB and a very good RB in the backfield... and considering Cam's a QB, i'd feel better if he grabbed the record for most passing TDs in a season...
Denver Tebows have tied the game!
It's a really good game! That TD catch from Rudolph was awesome.

Patriots 41 - Raiders 10

The Patriots move to 2-1 behind a very strong effort against the Raiders. The Patriots' two first round picks were the stars of the show in this one, which is a pretty good feeling.

Rookie HB Cobie Ross had his coming out party in New England. He put up Charlesian numbers, rushing 25 times for 304 yards and 3 TDs. The lone blemish on his day was a fumble which the Raiders returned for six, their only touchdown of the day.

Tom Brady wasn't asked to do much, but he went 7-11 for 132 yards and a TD, when Roddy White took a quick slant and got behind the defense for a 66 yard score.

The Patriots defense continues to round back into last year's form, only allowing a single FG (the Raiders' TD came on the fumble return). Rookie safety Jonny Kohlhausen lead the way on defense, with 7 tackles, 2 interceptions, and a forced fumble (though the Raiders recovered it).

gg Prez! Not sure what the "really?" message at the end was for. Yeah, I threw a pass in the red zone just outside the 2-minute warning, but it was 3rd and long. I guess you were expecting a run up the middle, but I don't think throwing one pass there is the end of the world. When you stopped me at the goal line, I kicked the FG. Didn't seem like a big deal.

I'm now headed into the hardest part of my schedule: Jets, Texans, @Giants, @Chiefs. It doesn't get too much easier after that either.

XFN is now up to date with the recent games. Just noticed the Chiefs sit at 3rd in the power rankings despite a 22 game win streak. Nice.

*Trade Alert*

The future is now in Houston! (pending league review)

The Texans and Jaguars have agreed to a trade that sends Matt Schaub to Jacksonville for the Jags' 1st and 3rd round picks in the coming draft.

Jags send: 1st round and 3rd round picks
Texans send: Matt Schaub, QB, 31, 88 overall, A potential.

In the unsexy trade news....

TRADE ALERT
Philadelphia trades...
WR - Jason Avant (77 OVR, 30 years old, ? pot)

New York Jets trades....
RT - Vlad Ducasse (72 OVR, 26 years old, C pot)

A bit of a depth for depth move here. Vlad would be starting for me if it wasn't for the rookie RT, but WR is so thin right now I had to make at least a minor move here to shore it up while both my #2 WR Burress and my #3 Kilgo are out injured. Thoughts?

Avant is 29 and B potential. Vlad is 24 and C potential. I guess the yougness of Ducasse makes up for the potential and overall difference, so the trade looks okay to me.

Oops, going off the website re: ages. I know that's typically not 100% accurate though.
I made the same mistake, Schaub is 32...
32 ISNT OLD FOR A qb though they stay at the same rank at that age
