LV/BSeti - Based on the discussion a couple pages back, it seems like you two aren't entirely on the same page about the trade. Why don't you guys figure out what you both want it to be and then submit that?

Unless you're both good with it as it stands, in which case I'll evaluate it based on that.
 
Yea that's the deal with a third rounder goin to arzona, we just wanted thougghts on whether a third rounder was too high
 
I don't object to the trade...looks okay to me. If I really wanted to be nitpicky I'd say maybe a 4th rounder would be more fair.

BSETI if you want to play tonight it'd have to start in the next 30 minutes or so...I gotta work in an hour and a half, so otherwise it'd have to wait til tomorrow afternoon at the earliest.

I'm not sure if it's breaks-the-trade high, but I think the pick is unnecessary. Fact is, Wells is a completely redundant player in the Arizona offense given his plethora of backs (setting aside AP, he still has Williams, Sproles, and Stephens-Howling). So he's getting rid of essentially a spare part on his team and meanwhile getting what could be a high upside player back.

Looking at McCarthy's skills, he's got good speed, high tackle, good play recognition. He's already a pretty useful player even if he doesn't progress. (In fact, I kind of want him now, lol).

I'd say it's a fair deal straight up, but if you need to include a pick I'd say it should be lower.

Hmmm Doom I'm gonna go on a long vacation and should be back the day of the playoffs if you wouldn't mind subbing for my team for the rest of the season!!

I'll probably end up giving them up for Madden 13, I've really enjoyed the challenge of working with a new roster every year. Plus, we've got quite a few Pats fans in here, maybe I can sell them to the highest bidder. :lol:

I enjoy this aspect a lot as well.
 
Whats the best Pass D playbook I have been using PIT and it has seemed to slow down the run a lot but Im getting tore up thur the air.

I don't know a lot about the individual team playbooks. But I use Multi D and it has a very good mix of defensive formations. I had the #1 passing D in the league last season, so I guess it's pretty good for that. :D

The thing I like about Multi D is that it has a formation for pretty much any occasion. 3-4, 4-3, 46, several flavors of both Nickel and Dime. If you stick with pretty much a base defense, then it's not as good because it doesn't have the exotic blitz schemes a lot of others have. But if you like to mix it up with your defensive packages, it's really good.

It's great if you want to run a pretty vanilla defensive scheme (which is what I do mostly, typically with great success).
 
By the way, I don't know if any of you are watching MNF, but a big go fuck yourself to Philip Rivers for finally deciding to play like an elite quarterback long after he'd submarined my fantasy season by playing like crap for 3 months.

I traded Rivers for Brees after week 2, now dont go making rivers start throwing picks I needed SD to win by 3 they are the last one In my 5 team parlay

i do got a question for u BV what happens when guys leave the league at the end of the franchise will new people to the league in 13 get first pick at teams our do people returning to the league get first choice just curious of how u guyes go about that process

and og i cant play right now i got to get up in like 7 hours and go run about 5 miles of hell lol or else i would be down for sure

If teams open up, we typically give people who've been in the league before first crack at them.

The Seahawks were able to take down the Giants in a tough battle. A strip-six by Roy Williams right at the half was definitely the play of the game for me. I've also developed a man crush on Sergio Kindle who came up with 3 sacks in the game.

My offense was held in check thanks to a stout run defense, however my defense played just as well. Dallas Alford whiffed on an INT which led to a long TD but made up for it with a crucial pick 6. Trufant also picked off the ball once and I was able to hold the Giants to 13 rushing yards.

The bad side is that Sydney Rice is out for 5 weeks with a broken collarbone.

GG BigAT. When I fair caught that punt, stepped up, and the ball stopped at the 1 I started to get really worried. Luckily my D stepped up big time.

I'm going to continue to be out in front of the Dolphins' hype train in the hope you'll crack under the pressure. ;)

This game is much bigger for ubernes. If he loses and falls to 1-4, his season is basically sunk (especially since all four losses would be in-conference). I fully expect he's coming into this one fired up.
 
Deuce and I are working on a time for today. I kinda wish I hadn't played him in week 1, even though he was a worthy sub. Now he's probably got a book on me.
