Murda how the heck did you get Bress and Peterson??
1. He traded Patrick Peterson and Kolb for Brees and Porter.
2. He traded Porter, Roberts, and Walker plus a 2nd rounder for AP and Kelvin Hayden.

Ya great game gb it was by far the closest game we've played yet but I play u too much so Im Gona change up my gameplan next time but damn my defense did not come to play i coukdnt stop turner on anything i tried i tried everu damn play in the playbook!! Looking forward to the next meeting!!

Ouch. Ground and pound time in Arizona I guess.
Steelers vs. Ravens is going down tomorrow night. I might also livestream it again if people are interested in watching.
Hell yea stream that shiz!!! Can I have my laptop open on the streaming page so I can see what kind of plays you're picking while we're playing!?

And I'd be curious if I'm doing anything that could be considered "cheesy" on defense with Lewis. I can't think of anything...but it's hard to argue against all his TFL. Maybe watching tape on myself could give a different perspective...

I still don't really get this trade at all, but I suppose this iteration is more balanced than the others.

I sent him an XBL message. When I looked he hadn't been on all day.

I don't have time to babysit rookies. Tanabeo can use these guys to groom his team. As far as head scratching trades, this is far far FAR from the worst this league has seen. Like I said, Blount will enjoy his stay in KC.
I still don't really get this trade at all, but I suppose this iteration is more balanced than the others.
Yeah, it seems like dooms thinking is: Charles is out for a few weeks and a 3rd down back would be nice, while tanabeos thinking is: I don't use Blount and no one wanted him so I might as well get rid of him while he is needed (by doom).

I'm just worried that Blount will be 93 overall next year. That means the second best rusher in the league :)razz:) has 98 and 93 overall running backs, and all he gave up was a 2 picks and a decent MLB.
As far as head scratching trades, this is far far FAR from the worst this league has seen.
I think you're confusing head scratching with unfair. Just because it's the former doesn't mean it's the latter. I just don't understand the rationale of the best rushing attack in the game (by far far far x 1000) needing to get another starting caliber RB to replace a guy who is missing three games.

I'm not saying the trade isn't fair, I just don't understand why you're making it. You're in no danger of losing that division, it's not like you're fighting tooth and nail to weather the loss of Charles for a few games.

No, I'm not confusing them. Almost every elite player that has been traded I scratched my head at some point.

If no one wants to take Blount off the market, I'll take him and put him to use instead of letting him rot. I don't care about Charles numbers or if he wins mvps. I care about winning right now and I care about Superbowls.

3rd and 3 won't be as big of a problem for me anymore. Same goes for Hillis, why no one is going after this guy baffles me.

I can use Blount in the 2nd half to end games without seeing a huge drop off in production. This move will definitely help me in a postseason run.

Considering you've yet to lose in this league and have only come close a couple times, I'm not sure Blount is what's going to put you over the top.

I approve the trade, it's certainly fair as presently constituted. But you had the top scoring offense last season, and you have it again this season (in fact you've scored almost 10 points more per game), so just don't make it seem like Blount is "what you've been missing". You haven't been missing anything.

If you want to add a new sports car to the garage, that's fine, but don't try to convince us you've been driving a jalopy this whole time. ;)

Not at all trying to convince you of that. But come playoff time when 3rd and short happens often, Blount will come in handy. I can't count the amount of times I was stopped on 3rd and short against the Texans and Pats. Whether he's a rental player remains to be seen, but I can't turn down a player like that even though on paper it doesn't make sense.

Parting with Belcher is hard, but I don't care much about the picks.

You hit the nail on the head. Blount hasn't started since week 2 of last season.

And as for why im making the trade I want that MLB because im slim there and i get 2 picks I can trade for more stuff later or pick up in the draft for someone that was my backup.

You can't count to 4? ;)

For those of you running offline franchises - Do you play on All-Madden? I've finally gotten through the first season and enjoy the franchise features, the games are just way too easy!

I'm still not overly impressed with this deal. It's still 2 70something B potential players for one 87 going on 90~ A potential player. The Bucs really can't find at least a A potential 70something player? Of course, ratings aren't everything and I hope Belcher has some nice speed and can hit like Ray Lewis (like all top LB rookies). And if that's the case, carry on. Also, as it's been said if no one else is offering anything better and if Blount isn't being used then by all means, it's in Tanabeo's best interest to pull the trigger on this deal. But Doom loses almost nothing and gets a borderline elite RB. :applause:

I offered Justin Houston as well who is an A potential ROLB at 73 OVR I believe, but he opted for Belcher instead. I don't know why guys aren't jumping at Blount and Hillis.

I looked into Hillis. He does everything Greene does but is slightly slower. Never looked into Blount but I imagine the same is mostly true.

Same. I can't can't purposefully make myself weaker in other positions when I already have Turner who is already better than Hillis.
I hate bye weeks with a passion
Its good to get them out of the way early though. I had mine week 4 or 5 and now I have 10 more weeks of Madden packed goodness.

I looked into hillis as well, but decided to go cheaper and get wells who has settled in nicely to form a lil thunder n lightning, which is exactly what doom is tryin to do that's why I can't hate on the trade even though I feel he could run the ball with just about anyone. Charles and blount is a scary combo, I'm really hopin I end up with the 2 seed in the afc so I wouldn't have to face him till the championship

Panthers get their second win of the season in dramatic fashion... First play of the game, Cam Newton scampers for a 63 yard gain out of the Carolina version of the Wildcat... AJ Green caps off that drive with an aggressive TD catch. The Panthers added another 10 points in the second quarter before Jonathan Joseph grabbed a pick 6 and gave the Texans their first points. In the third, Andre Johnson caught a pass on a hitch route, shook off a tackler, and outran the rest of the defense to the end zone, making it 17-14 Panthers. In the fourth, Carolina drove down the field looking to ice the game but thanks to some intense pressure, Cam threw another pick 6... it was called back on a roughing the passer penalty, setting up the only points scored in the 4th (a Carolina FG). With the score 20-14, the Texans offense took the field and proceeded to matriculate the ball down to the Carolina 27 yard line. With no timeouts, and 27 seconds left in the game, they were forced to start looking to the end zone. On first down, rookie Clay Harris had his pass to Owen Daniels batted away at the last minute by Sherrod Martin. On the next play, Harris threw a pass to Kevin Walter, and while he was double covered, there was room for the pass to slip thru, but Walter attempted to position himself to go up and get the ball and seemingly misjudged the distance, giving Captain Munnerlyn the game-saving INT in the end zone. GG Ramesu. I'm surprised u didnt look to Johnson more often... he was cooking Chris Gamble on just about every route he ran.

Looking at your schedule the only tough games left are the Texans twice, Steelers, and Panthers.

Sent prez a pm here about our game. I wont be able to play tonight during Sunday night football because my Cowboys play.

Only way to reach him is through cru, who is also nowhere to be found. Maybe Deuce can reach him for you?
