Panthers get their second win of the season in dramatic fashion... First play of the game, Cam Newton scampers for a 63 yard gain out of the Carolina version of the Wildcat... AJ Green caps off that drive with an aggressive TD catch. The Panthers added another 10 points in the second quarter before Jonathan Joseph grabbed a pick 6 and gave the Texans their first points. In the third, Andre Johnson caught a pass on a hitch route, shook off a tackler, and outran the rest of the defense to the end zone, making it 17-14 Panthers. In the fourth, Carolina drove down the field looking to ice the game but thanks to some intense pressure, Cam threw another pick 6... it was called back on a roughing the passer penalty, setting up the only points scored in the 4th (a Carolina FG). With the score 20-14, the Texans offense took the field and proceeded to matriculate the ball down to the Carolina 27 yard line. With no timeouts, and 27 seconds left in the game, they were forced to start looking to the end zone. On first down, rookie Clay Harris had his pass to Owen Daniels batted away at the last minute by Sherrod Martin. On the next play, Harris threw a pass to Kevin Walter, and while he was double covered, there was room for the pass to slip thru, but Walter attempted to position himself to go up and get the ball and seemingly misjudged the distance, giving Captain Munnerlyn the game-saving INT in the end zone. GG Ramesu. I'm surprised u didnt look to Johnson more often... he was cooking Chris Gamble on just about every route he ran.
