Any of those guys over 6'3" or so that you'd deal? Lookin for high CIT and SPC (spectacular catch).
man come holler at me uber i got i few of those lls
According to xfn:
Williams 94, Cox 80---Cason 87

I don't know.... Williams is a lot better than Cason so it's basically whether or not the pick will be equal to the diff in Williams and Cason plus cox. IMO its not but who knows.
i dont understand williams is a great wide receiver but theres a reason he has been trade every season so far. cason is an A pot corner they dont grow on trees he run man or zone and has high catch. bv is defintly asking for alot for dowling but i dont see why cason doesnt have the same type of value
cason is an A pot corner they dont grow on trees
Hey, that's my line! :D

Cason is indeed a very good player, I can vouch for that having used him last year. I was actually shocked to see he's only 27, I always think of him as being in the league for longer (I must be remembering all the seasons I used him as the Chargers last year).

The trade's not far off, so I think you two can still work something out if DVO is interested.
TRADE ALERT

Jets trade:
Bart Scott - A pot, 85 OVR, 33 years old, MLB
Kilgo - C pot, 77 OVR, 22 years old, WR

Cards trade:
Colin McCarthy - 80 OVR, 25 years old, A pot, MLB
Hardnot - B pot, 33 years old, 77 OVr, RG
it just seems like the jets are getting over in this trade mccarthy is going to be better than scott in a year and scott might retire and kilgo is only a c pot so he his not going to get better. but the cards are sending a young a pot and old b pot.

You going to toss out more objections, or did you get it out of your system already?

You want that Williams trade? Keep making your case and keep working with DVO. I personally did not have a big problem with it and even a commish said it wasn't too far off.

I think this was already essentially approved by all but Kilgo did go up from 73-74 to 77 so he's improving pretty well for C pot. Some of his stats are just ridiculous for a slot guy too.
UCONN is about to clobber Notre Dame.
I just turned it on. I knew I didn't wake up at 10am to just work on Madden trades. Remember they should have killed Rutgers and Seton Hall too so let's not get ahead yet.

We've said this before, but it's worth repeating: He's exactly what he looks like. OVR is just an aggregate of the other attributes, so if you look at those you can evaluate these trades fine. We don't just evaluate on the basis of OVR anyway.

TRADE ALERT

Titans Receive:

SS Adrian Wilson 92A, 33yrold
DT Dan Williams 75B, 26yrold
Two 6th round picks (Atl, NE)

Cardinals Recieve:

DT Jarrett Duncan 80B, 23yrold
SS Torian Nesby 71C, 23 yr old
First Round pick, Fifth round pick, 3rd round pick next year.
Have we ever tried trading draft picks through XFN? It would make it so much easier since I only have my first 3 picks.
I believe it would require doing the whole draft through there, and at this point in the franchise I really don't want to mess with it.
TRADE ALERT

Jets trade:

Kilgo - C pot, 77 OVR, 22 years old, WR

Cards trade:
Colin McCarthy - 80 OVR, 25 years old, A pot, MLB
Hadnot - B pot, 33 years old, 77 OVr, RG
If this is officially good to go, let me know. No rush but would like to get these guys on my roster before the draft so I know what I'm working with.

All the trades except the Jags-Chargers (withdrawn) and Titans-Cardinals (still needs more discussion) are good to go. You can put them through, and I'll add the details to the OP and the draft spreadsheet.

This seems pretty reasonable to me. Wilson is likely to start declining pretty soon, and the Cardinals can get a useful player with that 1st rounder, even if its low. Though I do think you're getting too cute by half with all the picks changing hands. Just makes my job harder.

trade alert
chargers receive:

barry cofield 87 b 29

redskins receive:
2nd rounder
larry englishlolb 70 bot 27
bryan walters wr 68 bot 25
Well he doesn't want all those picks, I think he has like 10 picks, basically trading my 5th for the two 6s.
lol, he has the same amount he already had this year, plus one more next year. :D
Bv are u tryin to move dowling??
I'm not trying to move him, but I'm open to it.

CB cason 87 a pot 27
3rd rounder
RB rodman 78 bot 23

Get rid of Todman and I think its fair.

EDIT: When are we going to be able to see the draft class?
i need a corner really badly and i feel that i dont have a high enough draft pick but im gunna check it out now
Sure, shoot me a PM and we can discuss it. I'm sure you have some players I'd be interested in.

That's a hell of a lot to give up for one guy, I'll have to look more closely at the individual ratings here.

This seems okay to me now, but I'd like to hear more discussion on it.
Not seeing it on the website (ea). I thought we could last year.
Click Draft in the menu, you can see the class on the bottom of that page. You can also access it in-game.

Oh wow. I looked there multiple times and didn't see it. Thanks :)
I want a high second rd draft pick ill trade for if some1 is interested trading one pm please!
I've got the Cardinals' 2nd rounder which might interest you. PM sent.

if rodman goes the trade is over i rather get rid of the 3rd rounder than him if it comes down to the trade having to change
if rodman goes the trade is over i rather get rid of the 3rd rounder than him if it comes down to the trade having to change
It's Todman. ;)

This looks fair. Williams is a monster who I would say is worth Cason and a late first rounder alone. CBs are more valuable than RBs so the third rounder makes up the difference there.

That is my short eval.

Cofield is an aging DT and I don't see a single attribute that warrants four players.

I agree, I think it's fair as stands. The complaint before was that the Jags weren't getting enough for Williams, this would seem to address that.
Wasn't the complaint before that the Jags weren't getting enough for Williams? Are we saying it's now swung too far the other way?
Me? Yes.

EDIT: I traded Roddy White (96), Kelvin Hayden (83) and a 6th (all better than what dvo is giving up) and I got Tracy Porter (89), Andre Roberts (75), and David Carter (71), while DVO would get Cason (87), Todman (78), 1st round pick, and 3rd round pick.

So:
White>Williams
Hayden>Cox
6th rounder>

Porter=Cason
Roberts
