chargers receive:

barry cofield 87 b 29

redskins receive:
2nd rounder
larry englishlolb 70 bot 27
bryan walters wr 68 bot 25
lasteven pullium rb 70 cpot 23
Cofield is an aging DT and I don't see a single attribute that warrants four players.
nope just reposting...if theres no objections we good?
Nope, you're not good. More people need to weigh in on it.

I feel the same.

titans cards look good to me since no else seems to be helping them get this figured out i will. personally i dont like becuz i got to play against wilson but it is a fair trade
BV wuts the ruling on the jags chargers trade
Me? Yes.

EDIT: I traded Roddy White (96), Kelvin Hayden (83) and a 6th (all better than what dvo is giving up) and I got Tracy Porter (89), Andre Roberts (75), and David Carter (71), while DVO would get Cason (87), Todman (78), 1st round pick, and 3rd round pick.

So:
White>Williams
Hayden>Cox
6th rounder>

Porter=Cason
Roberts

Jets doing some heavy recruiting this year after a failed one last year. They really like what they see out of OLB Rob Marske and may look to move up in the draft to get him. Stay tuned.
You're forgetting that Williams is 5 years younger than White and is bigger, catches better, and will continue to progress. Hayden is also way older than Cox.
"Catches better" is pretty relative when the other guy you're talking about has a 96 catch rating, though I suppose your point is technically accurate. :D

I think the trade's alright. We'll wait on other opinions (especially uber's) first though.

I'm fine with this one...the 2 6th rounders for the 5th rounder (although personally I would never trade my 5th for 2 6ths that I would likely end up dropping); the 2 DTs are pretty close but Cardinals are getting a little better there; so then it'd be like a late 1st rounder, 3rd rounder, and that VERY unremarkable SS which I'm assuming is just depth (plus the slight upgrade at DT) for Adrian Wilson. It doesn't seem like Adrian Wilson is regressing at all though, since he was a 92 OVR in our fantasy league too. But he's still old nonetheless!!

nesby is faster and actually better in zone, i offered him hope but he didnt want him, hes only a 76 speed. lv values speed. as seen with kilgo and his hawkins receiver there that he loves so much.

i actually dont know if hes better in zone, but hes pretty good, i donno i like nesby too, he has decent attributes for a 71C

i dont remember C potential players going up in past maddens, but i have a few that went up significantly.

i had a 66C potential TE go up to a 78

2nd rd pick is fine enough for him
trade alert

jags get

1st rounder
CB cason 87 a pot 27
3rd rounder
RB rodman 78 bot 23

chargers get

WR williams 94 a pot 26
CB cox 80 b pot 26
I'm fine with this one too...although I agree that it'd be better if Todman was taken out. I believe the trade before progressions had Cox at an 83, so if he indeed regressed even at age 26 then that should hurt his value a little...although he's still a pretty solid corner. Jags already have Leshoure and Jacquizz too, so I can't imagine Rodman is a huge necessity in this deal.

I don't think you can break the trade down and say Cason/1st for Williams (I think Cason and a 1st is a good bit more valuable than Williams), then that would leave Cox for a 3rd rounder (in my version of the trade)...which would be a travesty. But I think the trade is fair when you look at it as a whole. Like I said, I'm fine with it including Todman too though...I don't even see him getting any snaps for the Jags with Rodgers/Leshoure in the mix.

it was gone but mailman brought it back when he offered more to the trade then left me with no choice offer than to say yes

The Texans have narrowed the choices for No. 1 overall to three guys and are interviewing each player. Reports out of Houston are that they hope to have a deal signed by tonight.

Stay Tuned.

what do u think uber?
Kaster, I dropped Manuwai and Owens, so when you get a chance you can add them and drop Green and Vaughn.
Dropped them.

I'm taking Cromartie off the block right now. I didn't get an overwhelming number of PMs and he is in potential trade talks now, but I want to add Kalen Federick. RT, 72 OVR, B pot. And I would hear offers on Khaynin Stewart - CB, C pot but 96 speed, 86 man, 80 zone, 81 press.

I'm looking for late first rounders/early second rounders, but it'll depend on the player(s).

Edit: Taking my RBs off the market. :) This is an intense draft scouting process!

Trade Alert

Even as their real-life counterparts prepare to do battle tonight, the fake Patriots and Broncos have agreed on a trade:

New England Patriots
TE Aaron Hernandez - 88 OVR, 24, A Pot
FS Pat Chung - 79 OVR, 26, A Pot
3rd round pick

for

Denver Broncos
FS Rahim Moore - 87 OVR, 23, A Pot
WR Demaryius Thomas - 83 OVR, 26, B Pot
TE Julius Thomas - 74 OVR, 26, A Pot

Denver wanted a true elite TE and gets one in Sweet Leaf, while the Patriots get their 3rd WR and a moderate upgrade from Pat Chung. The Pats also get back Thomas, who could develop nicely, and send the Broncos a 3rd rounder in this years draft.

If this goes through, Gronk is obviously off the block.

This one does seem better. Other opinions?

Trade seems fair, maybe the broncos should get a tiny bit more. If its slanted its in favor if newengland, but its pretty even, especially if he can get a good player with that pick.
Both those look fine. Moore is more than a moderate upgrade though. Dude has 99zone and 86 catch. I almost made an offer for him last night.
He's definitely a different style of player. Chung has always been more of a close to the line player, which was fine when I was playing him at SS, but with Kohlhausen developing so well, I really needed a different style out of my other safety spot.

This looks fine. Hernandez/Moore is a wash, and Chung with a A pot might be slightly more valuable than Thomas BUT I don't know if an A pot TE is the difference in that. Obviously Denver won't get anywhere near Thomas in the 3rd round of this year's draft. I don't think it's that off though and I'm fine with approving it as is.
jags chargers need his final sign off
Already did:
I'm fine with the Cason/Williams deal above. I wish the ages were posted there, but it looks fair to me.

Obviously Denver won't get anywhere near Thomas in the 3rd round of this year's draft.
Seattle scouts have determined that it is a fairly mediocre draft class this year as well.

Nice try. I already wrote a 4-page Word document scouting this class. It's very good. ;)

sweet although the good bye to williams will be tough but i never used him the way i should have his hands were wasting on my bench but im glad to introduce a new defense focused jaguar team to the league 9-7 record is my goal

Maybe, but there isn't a lot of high potential players out there. There are gems, like I said I think I have 50 on the board but I don't see as many immediate impact guys like last year.
Good get Thomas out of my division. Fine with all trades I've seen so far.
You'll have your hands full with Hernandez, trust me.

I am good with all the trades thus far as well.

Edit - BV, is the spreadsheet you discuss open to everyone in the league, or just your own personal documentation?

Double Edit - What an ass kicking in the first quarter.
