That FG really

ed me. Not to mention all those drops. Never seen so many. Oh well I guess the Madden gods evened out my W from last week. Gg.
To be fair most of those drops occurred due to my guy being right there and hitting the receiver. That's gonna happen more when it's raining. I didn't see too many drops in the open field.
Anyway, quick write up:
Patriots 21 - Jets 17
I'll be the first to admit that ubernes played more consistently in this game than I did. He dominated time of possession and was able to build more sustained drives. Although a lot of that has to do with the Pats scoring on 3 different plays of 40+ yards. On my first two drives the D overcommitted on runs by BJGE, which lead to the aforementioned plays where he outran much faster guys, leading to TDs of 41 and 58 yards, basically untouched up the middle. After those two drives I didn't do much while the Jets picked up the pace, scoring 14 to tie the game. Brady then threw a pick (more accurately, I threw it) in Pats territory, and ubernes was able to convert it for 3. I got the ball back and things looked dire as the Jets D forced a 4th and 10. But Brady found Branch on a quick out which he was able to break for a 59 yard score, giving the Pats the lead. I then forced a turnover on downs and missed the ensuing FG, but with no timeouts left and the field to drive in about 23 seconds, Sanchez couldn't get it done, and a pick by Mayo sealed it.
Neither Brady nor Sanchez were stellar, each completing just around 50% with a pick each, though Brady had the 1 TD. BJGE was the leading rusher with 7 carries for 110 yards, though obviously most of those came on two carries.

gg ubernes! I definitely feel fortunate to come out of their with a win. My long scores kept me from seeing whether I could have sustained drives, but I don't feel terribly confident I would have based on how your D was playing. Given how hard it was raining, I'm just glad the game didn't hinge on some fluke fumble.
