So glad you're doing this again. Shaping up to be an intense battle in both conferences.
It really is. Not much separation at this point.

Just a few notes. Saints game is still pending. They take over first place officially with a win.

Steelers don't have a bye until week 11. Despite their loss to New England, they hold the second seed for now.
if playoffs were right now wat would determine the 6 th wildcard spot between me and duece?
Actually Sprice you're right, thanks for pointing that out. If they started today, you'd have the edge because you have a better conference record. I'll make the switch now. Luckily you guys play each other later in the season.

Hey guys, this is my first post on the thread after taking over management of the Cardinals. The team had two upsetting losses in the last week but we plan on bouncing back and making the playoffs this year. Anyways, I have never done a Madden franchise with an online thread like this, but I am really looking forward to it. I am usually only on the computer during the work week, and I'm hoping that will be enough time to coordinate all the games and trades.

As far as trades go I am up for any suggestions, just send them my way.

And if you want Larry Fitzgerald that can be arranged.
siradam, have our trade talks been abandoned?
Sorry Deuce, I believe so.

Every trade offer(not just yours.) i've been sent has been a "you give me a great player, and i'll send you some worthless picks/semi-bad players".

Not my idea of securing a better future.

Just wanted to let you guys know that I will be out of town till the 25th. I will keep up with the boards but I wont be able to play my next game. Sorry and I will be back after that.

Bold words. I like it. :D

I can sub for Zurezo. We have the same record, and the Bengals and Pats don't play this year so there won't be a conflict there.

Thanks for the heads up!
My defense gives up big plays but they also force a lot of turnovers. Chiefs lead the league in turnover differential at +20
I'm shocked there are categories in which you don't lead the league. ;)

 All I need is my rushing category.
 All I need is my rushing category.
That's why I'm pretty confident you're going to beat me in our game. If there's one area in which my D has struggled, it's been against the run (the exact opposite of the real Patriots).

I've only given up 6 TDs in 7 games to opposing offenses (I also allowed one of those kick returns). All 6 have been rushing, 4 of them from 40 yards or more. 0 passing TDs against.

So yeah, you're a nightmare matchup for my D. ;)
Interesting that four of the top five scoring defenses don't appear anywhere else on the leaderboard.
We play team ball over here. No need for stat leading!

Same. I don't think I've ever had a guy near the top of one of our leaderboards (though Rivers often led in completion percentage last year). I spread the ball around way too much.
So what's the deal with the Mercedes Lewis trade I made with the previous Cards owner?
I think your best course of action would be too contact the new owner to discuss it. I mentioned it to him when he took over the team, and I'm not sure how he felt about giving up his 1st round pick. He said in his post he's open to trades though, so I'd give him a PM to discuss it.

Anything can happen. Though I may try to be the first passing TD of the year against you.

Also, Rams vs Saints is taking place now which leaves us with one game left.

Did you see if Titans-Colts had posted a specific rescheduled time?

No specific time, though they did say it would take place sometime this afternoon/evening.

Ughhh....11.1 yards per carry on 170 attempts, how the hell are you supposed to stop that!?!? I played Doomtime in 1 scrim this year, and he didn't run it a single play cause he wanted to work on his passing and he STILL almost beat me lol. Good thing I don't play him during the regular season...

He did the same thing to me in our scrim. What a jerk! I'm not sure how you stop someone who averages a first down on every run.. Dive for Charles' legs every play? :D
The last game should start in about an hour.
Alright, cool.

Assuming that game wraps up with no issues, I'll advance us when I get home around 5:30-6.
Can't show my hand in scrim games!
Your hand being "bend over, grab your ankles, and prepare for Jamaal Charles" ;)

Agh I'm out of the Wildcard Spot, I need a big win against Oakland because chances are I"ll be run all over against Kansas City.

I believe he'll be on tonight if you want to play then. It is a big game for the both of you.

I don't want to alarm you, but you've got a BRUTAL schedule down the stretch including the Bears, Pats, Jets, and KC twice. Better bring your A game. :D

Amused to hear from my brother that quickly after he posted in the thread, a not insignificant number of you PMed him asking for Patrick Peterson. :D Like I didn't see that one coming a mile away.

Looks like we're wrapped for the week. I'll be leaving work shortly and will advance first thing once I get home, probably in an hour or so.

Oh I'm quite aware, It's going to be very brutal. SMH.
