Despite finally being able to move the ball, amassing over 400 yards of offense and returning a kickoff 99 yards for a TD, the Tennessee Titans made some critical mistakes and also got screwed by the game a bit (thanks EA, love ya). Can somebody tell me in what universe this play results in a fumble?

I challenged it because I was almost certain Hasselbeck's arm was moving forward. Turns out, it was...but then he stops his throwing motion to pull the ball down, take the sack, and fumble the damn ball. That's just piss poor programming. There's no way an NFL QB wouldn't get that throw off.

Some great Manning accuracy, that play, and Craig-fucking-Stevens dropping 3 balls (one of which he was all alone on), led to a 21-7 Colts lead and pretty much took Chris Johnson out of the game. Hasselbeck and the Titan defense just couldn't keep pace with the Colts as pretty much every challenged throw by Tennessee resulted in a pick, while the Titan defense was content to just smack the ball to the ground. The game would have been a complete blowout if I hadn't made a couple user catches at the end on a few improbable deep routes.

pitfallharry played it smart though, and I tip my hat to him for making the most of another monsoon (I think it was actually raining harder than in our first game...if that's possible, lol). Oh, also, after Stevens 3rd drop, I finally realized that he was in the game INSTEAD of Jared Cook Jr. I thought I had my depth chart set right, but I lost Daniel Graham earlier in the season, and I wonder if that screwed it up somehow. After replacing Steven and his 3 drops, Cook Jr proceeded to catch 10 balls for 245 yards. Anyway, gg pitfallharry!

I thought you were hustling me that first half. Chiefs took a while to get the ball rolling, but pulled away in the 2nd half.

Miami's defense was relentless on Cassel, who was blown up on one play which resulted in a Miami touchdown. Also tried to get creative in the redzone with a Cassel throw and that resulted in an ugly interception.

Eventually, Charles got it going and had 335 yds and a season high 5 touchdowns on 23 carries.

Terence Newman also had 2 picks on the day, which gives him 3 in his first two games as a Chief.
 
Raiders 17, Broncos 14

It was a classic showdown between two bitter AFC West Rivals as the Denver Broncos traveled to the Black Hole to take on the Oakland Raiders. Coming into the game both Denver and Oakland were both eyeing a shot at the AFC Wildcard as the Chiefs had already all but wrapped up the Division Title. Oakland would win the coin toss and quickly went 3 and out. Denver was driving but a questionable fumble would cost them posession. Next drive the Raiders would throw an interception to Champ Bailey turning it right back in favor of the Broncos. Denver would score the games first touchdown on a 30 Yard Run by Knowshown Moreno.

At the end of the Quarter Darren McFadden would answer Moreno with a 68 yard touchdown that gashed the Denver front and sent the game into a 2nd Quarter tie. Following a Darren Sharper Interception the Broncos would cap off the drive with a 28 yard strike from Tim Tebow to Julius Thomas. Oakland would tack on a 27 Yard Field Goal at Halftime to make it a 14-10 Denver Lead.

Tim Tebow would be intercepted by Stanford Routt rolling out and attempting to hit Brandon Lloyd setting up the eventual game winning 39 yard touchdown by Darren McFadden. Denver would make it interesting as Matt Prater attempted a 61 Yard Field Goal with a 15 MPH Wind at his back, but he somehow came up just short hitting the crossbar, They would get another chances when Elvis Dumervil would force and recover a fumble on the Denver 8, but it was not meant to be. In the end, squandered possession, close calls, and near misses resulted in the downfall of the Denver Broncos. Sending them to 4-4 on the Season.

Knowshown Moreno - 15 ATT 1 72 YDS - 1 TD

This one really hurts, I think I should've come out with this one especially in such a clutch game. But it is what it is, good game oakland. Now I prepare to pack in my season. Haha.

It's hard to give up TOO much for Patrick Peterson...that guy is amazing. He'll be Revis in a couple seasons. I'm fine with the trade...although that's 4 core players in JUST that trade alone lol, and he already traded Peppers to me so that'd be 6 core players total if this went through?

Yeah, Mog would be over the cap with this trade.

I agree on Peterson btw, that guy is probably going to be a top 3 corner in 2 seasons.

That's a good haul for him I think, but like I said unfortunately it's not going to go through since Mog would be over the core player cap.

XFN just messes up sometimes I dont think its the highlights it also could be I was messing with stuff just then to that might be it.

A high scoring first half followed by a fairly defensive second half equaled victory for the Seattle Seahawks who crawl their way back to .500. Josh Freeman found his rhythm throwing 2 TD 0 INT and 203 yds of total passing.

Ray Rice delivered more of the same - 139yds and 1TD. Player of the Game has to go to Brandon Mebane and his rumbling pick 6.

Dallas was able to run on me, but only attempted 5 runs the entire game, one of which was for an 80yd TD. Jason Witten had a huge game, racking up 175 yds and 1TD. Even though the Hawks knew he would be a main target they failed to stop him.

Sorry if it came off as a scolding. It's obviously not your fault that the people who programmed the franchise website are idiots. It just makes the site completely inaccessible when there are highlights up there.
 
We are officially in our regular 3-4 day rotation. We've been close, but I've been pushing us a bit this past week so we can get off Friday as an advancing day. It was just a pain for me and I assume everyone else. Eventually I'd like to get us to a point where we advance early Saturday and Tuesday night. That would give us 3.5 days for each week and would allow for Saturday (I assume the best time for most of us) to hit both weeks. Anyways, we'll be advancing Thursday night. That gives us 3 full days plus what we worked with tonight, which seems like a lot.

Once I saw the site I edited my post (as you probably saw!) so no worries. It completely destroyed the site!

Yeah I don't know why they haven't fixed the highlight glitch on the site.

Lots of talk online about the Patrick Peterson trade. Should be interesting to see what happens.

Well the trade which was submitted between the Bears and the Cards was dead on arrival since it would have put Mog over the cap.

I gotta say, I saw a couple of the offers which were made for him which made me chuckle. I actually thought the Bears one was pretty fair if it could have been completed, but I agree with MA that Peterson is gonna be a beast (I think we all do).

Anyone looking to take the Cards for a ride is going to find themselves sorely disappointed. ;)

Nice highlights staticz. I should probably upload some since I recently bought a capture card. My highlight reel would probably be pretty boring though.

The ea website is completely broken right now. I told prez to delete his highlights. Who else uploaded?

Apparently n8rocker has a couple videos uploaded on there :( Those are the only ones left I think...

And tanabeo, you don't need speed to beat a press...you need a receiver with a high "Release" rating, which you have (Mike Williams - Seahawks version...although Mike Williams Bucs version woulda also been a good option). With 96 release, he should be able to beat a press pretty easily unless that corner has a really high press rating.
