I've been trying to figure that out as well. Should be able to use ustream but I don't have the card yet.
Yeah I'll look into it. I may go with twitch.tv though.
Just cover the camera when you pick your plays
haha. That seems like a lot of work:)

Sorry guys I was supposed to play the Chargers last night at 11 EST, then he changed it to 11:30 EST but didn't actually show up til 12 EST.....THEN my freaking cable went out (internet AND TV didn't work) RIGHT after he got on -_- I sat there at my TV with my laptop checking the internet like every 5 minutes for the next 30-40 minutes but it never came back. I couldn't stay up any longer than that cause I had to be up at 7 a.m. for some job thing.

I PM'ed him this morning asking if he can play at 5 p.m. EST, which he hasn't responded to yet. I got finished with my thing early today so I sent him another PM and told him I can play between 3 and 6 p.m. EST, so I'll wait to see what he says. I have to do something between 7 and 10 p.m. EST tonight so I wouldn't be able to play until 10 at the earliest, but if we're the last game to wait on at that point then I don't wanna hold everyone up, so if you guys want...I don't have a big problem with it being simmed, even though I REALLY wanna play it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Will keep y'allz posted on the crisis....

For anyone curious, I've begun to set up the draft spreadsheet in Google Docs:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...tUU5TUGE3a0NoYjBfOXJiQlVtMnc&authkey=CJWCoOQK

I'm using the same document as last year, for those who want to relive their former glories.

Obviously the draft order will change, but all the trades should be in there, so if if you see something missing or wrong let me know (yes, Cru, I won't forget about Taylor Mays. ;) )

We have four first round picks being exchanged, which is the same amount as our last two drafts last year:

Falcons -> Browns (Julio Jones deal)
Bucs -> Vikings (via the Patriots in the Mallett and AP deals)
Saints -> Patriots (Mark Ingram deal)
Chiefs -> Cowboys (Miles Austin deal)

This actually a deep class for the positions I'm targeting, so I feel pretty good that there will be a few guys that I like available when my picks comes up late. If I decide there's one guy really high that I just have to have, I could bundle those picks and move up, but I think I'd rather draft two solid guys.

Coach Todd Haley just announced Jamaal Charles and Matt Cassel will sit out the final two games of the regular season.

Other starters to include Eric Berry, Brandon Flowers, Dwayne Bowe, and possibly a few more.

Considering all he does is hand off the ball and throw picks, I didn't really mind leaving him in. But after seeing McClain's knee explode, I'm not taking any chances.

Are we doing free agency by chance? I don't have another FB on my roster and don't really want to use Pope in that spot because he's part of my 2 and 3 TE sets.

I think at this point there's not a ton of point to doing another round this year. We'll maybe do one next year. However, since you don't have another FB on your roster, you're eligible to pick up an injury replacement.

I do realize a 2nd round of free agency was discussed and never materialized. If there's enough demand, we can maybe do a round before the draft.
I have a bit of time before class so let me see if I can figure out the NFC playoff mess
Good luck.
You weren't kidding when you said this would take all day haha.
I never kid about fake football standings. ;)

Quick, someone else post something, this page of the thread is starting to look like a private conversation between Doom and I.

Hey now!

Things are indeed crazy in the NFC playoff picture. I was in first place in the NFC North all season til I lost to Doom. I play Chicago next. I beat them the first time around, so I hold that tiebreaker. I have a better division record and we're tied in conference record with both of my remaining games being against NFC North opponents. It's insane how I could be anywhere from 2-6 to out of the playoffs. Reminds me of the time in Madden 11 where I went 11-5 and didn't even earn a wild card spot.

as of right now
1 giants
2 bears
3 panthers
4 seahawks
5 packers
6 saints
49ers
lions
bears play packers to keep 1st in devision
49ers play seahawks for 1st in devision
if packers lose next 2 games there out
lions lose any there out
if cru loses vs seahawks and lions win out hes gone

looking at the panthers saints besides there game vs each.other i dont see either one losing again leaving them with only 5 losses each nd def playoffspots

I'm not sure that's a foregone conclusion. gbpackers and tanabeo aren't exactly pushovers themselves, that's definitely been the deepest division this season.

Here is an amateur analysis of the NFC playoff picture. Included are signature wins (or losses) against other NFC teams in the playoff race. Let me know if you see any mistakes, that was thrown together quickly

1. NY Giants (11-2) Division wrapped up and in the playoffs regardless.

Defeated Seahawks 17-3, Lost to 49ers 35-21, Defeated Packers 38-21, Defeated Saints 28-27

Remaining Schedule: vs Skins, @Jets, vs Cowboys

How to Clinch- Already in. Magic number for homefield is 2.

2. Chicago Bears (10-4) Division is completely up for grabs. 1 game lead over Green Bay though GB has the tiebreak.

Loss to Saints 35-27, Lost to Packers 38-14, Defeated Panthers 38-13, Split vs Lions, Defeated Seahawks 34-14, Defeated Falcons 27-21

Remaining Schedule: @Packers, @ Vikings

How to Clinch- A win over the Packers clinches the division for the Bears and solidifies a playoff spot.

3. Carolina Panthers (10-4) Four conference losses plus a loss to the Bears and Packers hurts the Panthers in a tiebreak for the second seed. They also have a week 17 date with Saints still looming.

Lost to Packers 24-20, Lost to Bears 38-13, Defeated Saints 38-28, Defeated Lions 24-21, split vs Falcons

Remaining Schedule: vs Bucs, @ Saints

How to Clinch- A win over the Bucs and loss by the Saints. A week 16 & 17 loss could leave the Panthers out if the Falcons/Saints win their remaining games.

4. Seattle Seahawks(9-5) A costly loss to the Bears last week will likely keep the hawks in a 3 or 4 seed if they win out. Of course, there's still a week 16 date with the 49ers that will likely decide the division.

Lost to 49ers 20-17 (sub game), Lost to Giants 17-3, Lost to Bears 34-14, Defeated Falcons 31-14

Remaining Schedule: vs 49ers, @ Cards

How to Clinch- A win over the 49ers I believe gives them the division crown. That would make their divsion record 4-1 while the 49ers would drop to 2-4.

5. New Orleans Saints (10-4) The Saints continue to hang around, though only in a wild card spot for now. Things don't get easier though as they have two tough division games remaining on their schedule.

Defeated Bears 35-27, Lost to Packers 14-10, Lost to Panthers 38-28, Lost to Falcons 35-10, Lost to Giants 28-27, Defeated Lions 45-35

Remaining Schedule: vs Falcons, vs Panthers

How to Clinch- A win over the Falcons and loss by the Packers and Lions.

6. Green Bay Packers (9-5) The Packers have cooled off in recent weeks, but still find themselves in the middle of the heated NFC North race.

Defeated Saints 14-10, Defeated Bears 38-13, Defeated Panthers 24-20, Lost to Falcons 21-7, Defeated Lions 24-14, Lost to Giants 38-21

Remaining Schedule: vs Bears, vs Lions

How to Clinch- Possibly the toughest road to the playoffs. The Packers can't clinch this week, even with a win over the streaking Bears. They'll have to finish their business in week 17 against the Lions. If the Packers end up 10-6 or 9-7, they can still make the playoffs if various NFC teams in the race lose as well. The Packers own the tiebreak with every team except the Falcons.

7. San Francisco 49ers (8-5) After peaking with a win over the mighty Giants, the 49ers have gone on a severe cold streak that could cost them a playoff spot. The resurgence of the Seahawks hasn't helped them either.

Defeated Seahawks 20-17(sub game), Lost to Lions 35-28, Defeated Giants 35-21

Remaining Schedule: vs Steelers, @ Seahawks, @ Rams

How to Clinch- A loss to the Steelers and Seahawks ends their season. They control their destiny as long as they win out.

8. Detroit Lions (8-6) One of two X-factors in the NFC playoff race. Even at 8-6, the Lions can do severe damage to the way the NFC North race shapes up with a win over GB in week 17. A win over the Falcons and 49ers certainly helps their chances. Detroit will be rooting for Pitt this week.

Split vs Bears, Defeated 49ers 35-28, Defeated Falcons 21-0, Lost to Panthers 24-21, Lost to Packers 24-14, Lost to Saints 45-35

Remaining Schedule: vs Chargers, @ Packers

How to Clinch- Win out and pray for a San Francisco loss to strengthen their chances. That tiebreak will really come in handy.

9. Atlanta Falcons (7-6) The Falcons continue to fight, though at this point they're going to need some help. They need to beat the Saints in week 16 and have them lose again in week 17 to take their wildcard spot.

Lost to Bears 27-21, Lost to Seahawks 31-14, Defeated Packers 21-7, Split vs Panthers, Lost to Lions 21-0, Defeated Saints 35-10

Remaining Schedule: vs Jags, @ Saints, vs Bucs

How to Clinch- Even at 7-6, there's a chance, but they're going to need some help. A win over the Saints in week 16 puts them in position. A Panthers win over the Saints in week 17 as well as a loss by the Lions and 49ers would likely vault them ahead.

That loss versus the Bears sucked. I won't be happy without a playoff spot so I'm glad it is in my hands at this point.

Are we on track to advance today? I still need do some work on offense. I think I found a new playbook but I'm not sure about debuting it this late in the year. We shall see!

If anyone needs to be booted it won't happen til 11pm est. I won't be home until then. So if the person who needs to be subbed for can quit from the website that would be great!!
So, a sub is needed for the Jags? I can do it if there's not a more appropriate sub available.
Go ahead and set it up with gbpackers. We can waive the no division subbing rule as we have been when the playoffs aren't at stake.

We should be good with subs as far as I know, jza was the only one who needed to drop and he did.

Looks like 11PM should be our target for advancement tonight, everyone!

The Steelers @ 49ers game will be streaming live tonight. I will let you guys know the details when I set it all up. The only thing I'm worried about is my Internet speed on Madden, so if it's not too slow then I will leave it going all game

Oh snaps! I'll be there! Do we have to have a google+ account? And is there a chatroom?
Losing to a sub fucking sucks. Gg n8
And one with a worse record than your scheduled opponent ;) But thanks man. It was all I could do to keep up with you. I still have nightmares about Michael Turner. In some of them, my pants are around my ankles haha. I'm just glad I was finally able to stop him and force a few punts.

Gabbert finishes 11 - 17 for 141 yards with 7 of those balls going to Mercedes Lewis for 101 yards. MJD ran for 84 yards on 23 carries. The game winning drive started at the Jacksonville goalline thanks to a punt that literally rolled right against it (though I was trying to get under it for a fair catch but your asshole player got in the way lol)

GG indeed
