Another beating today, this time at the hands of the Cleveland Browns. My first game in a hurricane (I guess that makes me lucky...somehow), and after choosing to kickoff, I was fortunate enough to get an interception on the opening drive in Cleveland territory. I tried to play it safe and just go for "easy points", so I ran the ball, but came up short of the first down. Then Bironas missed the 51 yd FG. I guess I shouldn't be surprised since it was raining. After that, everything went down hill for me.
Ultimate Matt X did a good job mixing his playcalling and seemed to always have my zone defense sniffed out. He scored twice to go up 14-0. I started to rally and put together a decent drive, until Nate Washington slipped and fell making a cut, turning what would have been a nice reception with some room to run, into an easy INT (thank you, Madden...and go

yourself). This led to another TD, and a 21-0 lead. I put up some points in the 2nd half and made the smallest hint of a rally by recovering an onside kick down 21-10. But another INT shut the door on this one.
Since I doubt this game helps me move up at all in power rankings, I'm guessing I'll have first pick for free agents, right? I'm actually thinking about picking up TO since Nate Washington is my 2nd best receiver at a 78. I'm just not really confident in having a QB to get him the ball. Despite his high ratings, I just can't play with Hasselbeck. His accuracy is awful, and he often overthrows guys by 5-10 yards. I did a little better when I brought Locker into the game in the 4th quarter. I'm thinking about putting Hasselbeck on the trading block, but I'm not in love with the idea of having my top QB being rated a 74...not that the rest of this season matters anyway. I'll definitely entertain offers for Hasselbeck though.
