yup, we'll need a sub. Choices are me. or someone else;D
Since you've been subbing for venom thus far I guess it makes sense for you to keep doing so. My only concern would be that I play you next week as well.

I wouldn't mind getting my Tebow on...

P.s. to you...Please work on your communication a bit bud... You're set to invisible on xbox live. I sent you 2 cag messages and 2 xbox live messages, Yes. you logged on at the time I said I could play (and once when I couldn't)...But send a message or something dude.... Even a "Yes, 11pm will work for me, see you then!" Message is better than me sitting here going... "boy..i wonder if he's going to log on..." (your invisibility on xbox live hinders this, too.) Even the "incredible game man" message i sent post game went ignored.

I didn't check my CAG PMs until SNF kicked off.

I'm not really a fan of exchanging post game message. I don't mind if it's done in this thread though.

doom if u could find out bout the raiders for me sooner the better since i hope to get both my games in both leagues played... still cant find zurzo in the other one tho if anyone could help out it b appreciated. i wouldnt mind subbing for the broncos either i should b off round 5
Sprice and gbpackers also have similar records.
I don't see why you went out of your way to mention the 7-6 teams with way better point differentials than their records. ;)

Record aside, I think we all know Sprice isn't a remotely comparable sub for Venom. For evidence look no further than the fact that he beat him 56-0 when they played this season.

We have several teams with the exact same record as the Broncos who would be much more appropriate subs. Someone like Man2008 or itlnstln would seem to profile much better as a Broncos sub.

He said he should be able to play tonight but I'll let you know.

itlnstln has said he'll sub for the Broncos, and they have the same record. We'll be playing tonight at 7:00 EST.

How are we looking on these other games:
Jags-Falcons
Redskins-Giants
Titans-Colts
Bengals-Rams
Saints-Vikings
Lions-Raiders
Browns-Cardinals
Ravens-Chargers
Steelers-49ers

That's 10 games still left to play including mine, not looking too promising for advancing tomorrow.
You're quite bitter today...
School, the other league filled with little communication, and a Monday.

That's one crappy combo.

Thankfully, MW3 releases tonight :D
best news i've heard all day
You getting it at midnight with Cru? I know he's hyped up too.
What's a MW3? :whistle2:s
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3!

Jags-Falcons was supposed to take place last night but was cancelled at the last minute. We're trying to find a time that works, but not sure if it's going to happen.
What is our policy with offseason trades? I'm definitely looking to get rid of Hillis if any offseason deals are allowed.
They are. Trades will open back up after the super bowl and before the draft.
You getting it at midnight with Cru? I know he's hyped up too.
i'll have it a lil after midnight lol. I'm kinda impatient so i hate standing in lines... I have 3 gamestops within 5 miles of my house so i sit on the couch til about 12:15, then i randomly call one of the three as i'm walking out the door to make sure the line is down to 4 or 5 people... so no later than 12:30 i'll be on. Sucks that i gotta be to work at 6am, but thats what they make 5-hour energy and Red Bull for right? :D
Sucks that i gotta be to work at 6am, but thats what they make 5-hour energy and Red Bull for right? :D
Or vacation days. ;)

I'm taking off a good chunk of next week to play Skyrim.
Panthers 38
Texans 15

GG Ramesu... definately didnt expect this when the game started.
Whenever I turn the ball over, it gets harder and harder to overcome, it seems like my quarterback can only function when playing with a lead, idk...gotta figure it out, or never fall behind, lmao.

Turnovers have been my downfall all year.

I'd bet anything that if you compared our stats from last year to this year, turnovers are about by at least 100%. It's been a league-wide phenomenon.

Turnovers definitely killed me last game. I think the improvements made with zone coverages have made a big difference...however Mog has mad user skills.

On the MW3 note, I've decided to pick it up instead of BF3. Seems like that's what all of my friends are going with so might as well join the crowd.

Haha I'm sticking with coffee tonight. Had to cut back on Red bull, that stuff gets expensive.

using all mine for this trip i'm taking to Texas on thursday :). incidentally, i'm working on a sub for me for week 17... unless we get thru week 16 and advance and i can get ballhawk to play that game by noon Thursday(impossible, i know). Whoever it is will need to win that game so i can get a bye week(assuming i beat Tanabeo and I think Mog has to lose once). If things dont go as planned, i wont be back until about 7pm on the 15th so i would hope to be able to play my potential playoff game as soon as i walked thru the door.

one day... my user prowess will be recognized by the masses...

Titans - 24
Colts - 7

Much like in real life, Chris Johnson just figured out that the season has started. Though, he wasn't able to break any huge runs, steady production allowed him to pick up 94 yards on 25 carries, while racking up another 51 yards on 5 catches with 1 TD. Permanently entrenched as the starting quarterback, Jake Locker also had a good game, completing 10 of 13 passes for 138 yards, with 2 TDs and 1 INT. His best throw of the day came on a 44 yard TD strike to Jared Cook Jr.

On the other side of the ball, it was a miserable day for Peyton Manning. Facing a suddenly awake Titans secondary, Cortland Finnegan terrorized Manning, intercepting two passes: the first for a pick six and the second in the Titans end zone. Manning finished with four INTs and a late fumble thrown in for good measure.

gg, pitfallharry. As I said, Manning screwed you in this one. It was odd enough that my secondary all of a suddenly learned how to not just slap balls into the ground, but then the fumble at the end just added insult to injury. Nothing you can do about that crap.

Patriots 45 - Broncos 0

The Pats move one step closer to a division title with another strong performance from their offense and defense, which notched a second consecutive shutout (and 5th of the season). The story of this game for the Patriots was big plays, which occurred early and often. The Broncos actually held a time of possession advantage in this one, to give you some idea of how quickly the Patriots scored. They had TDs of 71, 52, 80, and 61 yards.

Tom Brady was 5 of 6 for 254 yards and 3 TDs.
Brian Hoyer, who played the entire 2nd half, was 1 of 3 for 61 yards and a TD.

Adrian Peterson, who also played only in the first half, carried 12 times for 117 yards and two scores. The rest of the backs were a mixed bag filling in, most notably BenJarvus Green-Ellis fumbled the ball on the goal line on the Pats' 2nd drive, which would be his first career NFL fumble (I was just as shocked). Stevan Ridley also put the ball on the ground later but recovered.

It was the Tight End show once again on offense. Aaron Hernandez was unbelievable, catching 3 passes for 200 yards (a staggering 66.6yard average), all of which went for TDs. Rob Gronkowski's lone catch was a 71 yard TD.

The Pats' D sacked a combination of Orton and Tebow 3 times, forced 3 picks, and recovered a fumble, while allowing only 162 yards of offense.

The Pats' move to 10 wins and one step closer to clinching a playoff birth, which they can do next week with a win or a Bills loss. They could also clinch the division outright with a win and a Jets loss to the Giants. They seem to be rounding into playoff shape at the right time, Tom Brady in particular.

gg itlnstln! I appreciate you filling in, even though I doubt this game was much fun. It's tough stepping in to an unfamiliar roster/playbook for sure. I hope you didn't mind me pulling my starters in the 2nd half, I didn't want to risk any freak injuries headed into the playoffs.
45-0 Bv...really? Wow.... lol.... i should have played you ;-/
That's with Brady/AP/Welker only playing the first half. I was definitely in the zone, but I didn't have to sustain much when almost every pass Brady threw went for a TD. You'll get your chance next week. ;)
