Madden 12 League - Official Fantasy CAG League Week 9 Live , Deadline is Friday

I just wanted to say I hope this works out as well as bv's league on last year's game. I don't have enough time for 2 Madden leagues but I'll check to see how this turns out.

TEAM: Well I'd like the Cowboys but since someone else mentioned them I am completely fine with a random team!

Note: I won't be back home until the 22nd so if things get going for them and theres someone else for my spot then go ahead and let them have it. I have my laptop here, but not my xbox :(

I will begin to send out some PM's today to get the league full by Thursday , because I would Like to try and do the Draft Sunday morning.

Yup. I don't think we should do it sooner than 12:00 Eastern (which would be 9:00AM for the West Coasters) though I actually think Sunday night might be better (SNF next week is Colts-Saints, not the most compelling matchup).

Oo ok , maybe Sunday around 7pm est if that works. On another note BV do you or anyone else on the east coast DMV area know about any MW3 release day events ?

Nope, I don't usually pay much attention to those sort of things. I know the Best Buys in DC (Tenleytown and Columbia Heights) sometimes do midnight release events, though I have no idea if they're doing it for MW3.

I dont want to hold up the league, but I wont be back in town until Tuesday. If I cant draft my team, I dont know if I would want to play. I have played in the fantasy league drafts before and I love them, but they kinda stink if you dont get to draft for your style of play. Let me know if there is ANY chance of moving the draft back a couple of nights, if not no big deal. Sorry!

Depending on how soon will fill up , you wouldn't be able to draft from a Laptop , and what time tuesday would you be back ?

Nope. At this point, we're just trying to get more people to fill it up since a lot of those from the other franchise aren't carrying over.

His XBL Gamertag is Bseti50, and he is making the CAG account today so he can post for himself in 48 hours. I have no doubt that he would commit to the league and not drop out. Let me know if this sounds ok.
 
Have you guys already cold-called everyone who's in the other league and not in this one? If you haven't yet, might also want to PM the waiting list on the first league, there's still 5 or 6 names on there.

Yea no problem , I got two friends who are setting up CAG accounts also , and how would you gage your skill set as far as conferencing ? We haven't played yet in the other league so I just figured I would ask , BV said you were pretty good, I trust his judgement.
 
My brother is going to join , he is trying to recover his CAG name if he can sometime soon.

My skill level is hard to gage because I don't really know the average skill level in the league. Of course I am 0-2 in the other league, but I am just getting used to the Cardinals.

To be honest I would put me or my friend (Gamertag Bseti50) in any division. Having the opportunity to draft my own team I don't see any reason to be put in a "lesser" division. I enjoy tough competition as much as anyone.

Yea the game set's the draft order and yea if you pick first you pick last of the next round, so 32nd pick is actually a good spot.

Yup. I always like to draft last in my fantasy leagues (though it didn't help me this year).

Who would you guys take if you had the first pick? I'd probably have to choose between Rodgers or Revis.
