They won't sell out, it is a niche game. Hell CoD and Halo never even sell out anymore! I remember having to go to a local mom and pop shop to track down Halo 2...those were the days :D

Do you care if it's a digital version? You can go that route and download the game now. It will unlock at midnight on the day of release.

No chance the physical version sells out in stores. They'll have plenty.

i would drop a reserve on it, i was reading that collectors editions sold out, and who knows if they produced enough copies to fit demand, havent released a diablo in a decade, and back then there were not as many computers in the world.
 
Anybody getting that Ghost Recon when it comes out ? I know it is team based game and I want to get it If I know people that are ?

The JV Draft starts at 8 Eastern, I only plan on doing 3 rounds, not sure about pitfall, but we should kickoff before 10:30 Eastern I'd think.

Doesn't seem like we can play tonight.

Just got my power back storm came thru. I will be gone also this whole weekend so I would say sim the game but hopefully we can get this goin now.

If you had 45-31 Patriots, come on down. Suffice to say that was not a defensive clinic on either end (though the Patriots did get a bunch of turnovers). Full write-up to follow shortly.
 
Giants- 42
Jaguars- 24

Turnovers made the difference here with the Jaguars turning it over 3 times to the Giants 0. Also, not being able to contain AP who went off for 392 yards and 4 TDs. Game stayed close until the 4th quarter. Always fun playing you DVO, can't wait for the next time.
 
New England Patriots 45 - Baltimore Ravens 31

The Patriots started out dominating this game, carving out a 21-0 lead in the first quarter, though two the Ravens' credit they hung around and never gave in. It was never within a score, but it definitely wasn't decided until the final few minutes.

Colt McCoy was 6 of 7 for 148 yards, 2 TDs and 0 INT.

Joe Flacco threw... a few more times... going 23 of 48 for for 383 yards, 4 TDs and 4 INTs.

Given those numbers, the following shouldn't be surprising:

Cobie Ross carried 11 times for 119 yards and 2 scores. Mikel Leshoure did most of the work in the 2nd half, racking up 19 carries for 136 yards and a score.

Marshawn Lynch had one carry for 2 yards. Leach tried to run on 4th-and-1 late, but got stuffed on the play which ended the game. Those were the only two carries the Ravens had.

Roddy White had 4 catches for 56 yards and a TD for the Pats. Cobie Ross had the other receiving TD, an 82 yard strike when he slipped out of the backfield against a Ravens blitz. (I throw to my backs less than just about anyone, so I reached deep into the bag of tricks for that one).

Reigning defensive rookie of the year Terrance Carswell had a big game, with 2 sacks and a pick six. The Pats also got INTs from McCourty in his new safety spot, Jimmy Wilson and Cornel Patrick. The Ravens weren't able to turn the Pats over at all, which was probably the difference in the game.

gg MA! I don't think I ever would have expected this game out of us, since our matchups are usually tight low-scoring affairs. Especially after how you shut down my running game in the playoffs last season, I was shocked how well Leshoure and Ross were able to run. Madden's just a funny game sometimes.

Pats move to 2-1 ahead of their first division game of the year against the Jets.

You can get on XBL? I have an internet connection, but it says there's a "service alert" when I try to log in to XBL. The URL it tells me to visit is a dead link.
 
Me and Skins agreed to sim our game since we coudn't schedule. Or we did but my power went out cause of a storm and by the time I got power back it was too late to play.

Another Diablo 3 related question...

To anyone with decent knowledge of video cards: what would be the cheapest video card I could get in order to comfortably run Diablo 3 on medium settings? Diablo 3 is really the only computer game I see myself playing until maybe Diablo 4 comes out, so I don't need a high-end one in anticipation of playing anything else in the future. I'm sure Diablo 3 is pretty demanding of a game, so I might have to end up getting a pretty nice video card anyways. I'm still using the default video card in both my laptop and my desktop, which in both cases is the Intel (R) HD Graphics Family. I ran the "can you run it" program in regards to Diablo 3 and everything looked good on both my laptop and desktop except for the video card.

Also...I got a pretty nice laptop last Black Friday that would probably be a decent gaming laptop (17 inches, i7 processor, 4 GB RAM)...but it's an HP which are known to overheat fairly easily. You guys think playing Diablo 3 on my laptop would overheat it? I don't wanna risk frying the circuit-board by overworking my laptop.
