New England Patriots 17 - New York Jets 7
In an early battle for first place in the AFC East, the Patriots traveled to New York and knocked off the Jets in a low-scoring affair which featured the Patriots rushing attack doing what it does, and a turnover from a most unlikely source.
The Patriots marched down the field on the opening drive using nothing but the ground game, culminating in a 21-yard score by Leshoure. Both offenses were quiet for the rest of the half save for a Gostkowski field goal late. The Jets one early drive which looked promising was stamped out when the Patriots pulled a trick out against the no huddle and dropped Wilfork into coverage. Sanchez threw it right into his bread basket for the pick (the irony of Wilfork getting a pick in a game in which Revis and Cro each dropped one is not lost on me, lol). The Pats finally broke through again late when Cobie Ross got loose for a 64 yard score. The Jets were finally able to find the endzone on a Best pass from Sanchez with 1:28 left, but the Pats recovered the onside kick and were able to run out the clock for the win.
McCoy was an unspectacular 3 of 7 for 25 yards.
Sanchez was 11 of 21 for 162 yards, 1 TD and 1 fat-man INT.
Cobie Ross carried 17 times for 195 yards and a score, with Mikel Leshoure pitching in 13 for 70 and a TD of his own.
Jahvid Best carried 14 times for 79 yards.
Roddy White caught 2 balls for 16 yards for the Pats, who barely threw.
Dustin Keller lead the Jets with 4 for 44. Best had the TD.
The Pats got a pick from Wilfork and a sack by Carswell, while the Jets didn't put up any defensive stats of note (though did do a great job in coverage the few times McCoy dropped back).
The big injury blow was the Jets losing Santonio Holmes for 10 weeks.

gg n8! Definitely a closer game than even the 10-point spread indicates. If Cro or Revis hold on to those picks (neither were gimmies, but those guys are pretty good) it could have been a very different game. I also got a bit of a break with that ball right into Wilfork's ample stomach, but that was at least part strategy since I did drop him into coverage.
See you in Week 14.
