gg n8! Definitely a closer game than even the 10-point spread indicates. If Cro or Revis hold on to those picks (neither were gimmies, but those guys are pretty good) it could have been a very different game. I also got a bit of a break with that ball right into Wilfork's ample stomach, but that was at least part strategy since I did drop him into coverage.
See you in Week 14.
Yeah, it was a good game. Well, for my lack of scoring, I felt like I played decently anyway. Just the one turnover...and I was pretty effective on 3rd down (converted 5/8). I don't know. I just get deflated as shit playing you. You played a great game, without question, but when the breaks go your way too, it just piles on.
It was actually my FS, Norris, not Cromartie who had the other dropped INT. But he had two picks in my week 1 game against Miami, so he's definitely more than capable. There was no excuse for that one, as it was seriously just a bad pass. McCoy basically just lobbed it up toward the sideline looking for Gronkowski, and Norris was right there, leaped up...and it hit off his hands.
The one Revis dropped was a little more contested...but still...he was in front of your WR...and it's Revis. Meanwhile, 800lb gorilla, Vince Wilfork, reaches out and snatches a bullet across the middle (I wouldn't exactly call it INTO his ample stomach...he lunged and grabbed it). It was a savvy play call, for sure...but he must have thought the ball was a cheeseburger to go after it like that, lol. I mean, it's not like I expected to beat you anyway, but it makes the game hard to play when that kind of stuff happens.
Not to mention, my FB can't convert a 3rd and 1 with a decent sized hole...but when I blitz the house at Cobie Ross, he knocks guys over and still gains 4 yards. Then, the one time David Harris crushes him, he injures himself making the tackle. Then Holmes takes a hit, breaks his hand, and is out 10 weeks. I feel like letting you play the CPU in Week 14...not cause of anything you did, of course. Just because those kinds of games are discouraging.
Video of my secondary's ineptitude...and Wilfork's love for Big Macs, haha
