Madden 12 Official CAG League - On official hiatus until Madden 13.

Did redskins owner campbellbj1 leave the league ? I signed on to see who I Play and the redskins have no owner. Then I looked in the transaction history and saw "The owner of the Redskins has left the francise". Just wanted to make sure before I start asking for a sub

Pretty sure he dropped incase his previous opponent needed a sub.
Another Diablo 3 related question...

To anyone with decent knowledge of video cards: what would be the cheapest video card I could get in order to comfortably run Diablo 3 on medium settings? Diablo 3 is really the only computer game I see myself playing until maybe Diablo 4 comes out, so I don't need a high-end one in anticipation of playing anything else in the future. I'm sure Diablo 3 is pretty demanding of a game, so I might have to end up getting a pretty nice video card anyways. I'm still using the default video card in both my laptop and my desktop, which in both cases is the Intel (R) HD Graphics Family. I ran the "can you run it" program in regards to Diablo 3 and everything looked good on both my laptop and desktop except for the video card.

Also...I got a pretty nice laptop last Black Friday that would probably be a decent gaming laptop (17 inches, i7 processor, 4 GB RAM)...but it's an HP which are known to overheat fairly easily. You guys think playing Diablo 3 on my laptop would overheat it? I don't wanna risk frying the circuit-board by overworking my laptop.
This card will do anything you will ever need to http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130660 and its only 189(159 with rebate)
Sent pitfall a pm earlier no response yet...
I'm gonna need a sub for this week. I'm headed out of town to visit my mom. I won't be back until Monday, and likely won't have time to play that day.

All companies have models that overheat, not just HP. They take most of the punishment on the internet though. I'd say use the laptop. You'll be able to run it on medium/low depending on the settings.

Post the specs of the desktop and we'll see how that is. No point in buying a high-end video card if you have an older build. It will bottleneck.
How did I fall to #3?!? AP took Offensive Player of the Week.
Look at me and Sprice's points scored and points allowed. That should answer your question.

I did, pretty sure I am #1 in points scored and #5 in points allowed.

Nevermind I just realized my math was off.

I'm thinking strength of opponents now, maybe.

Not really important to me just surprised I dropped after a pretty decent game.

You're wondering how you dropped, I'm wondering how I got in. My offense has been atrocious lately. I'll take number 5 though, not going to complain!
I'm I gonna play a sub since nobody is using the oakland? Or can I play the cpu?
Everyone else has played a sub, so that is probably the preference. I'd do it but I'm in your division.

I can sub before 6 tomorrow or sometime on Monday.

the xfn site is messed up last season me and bv were the only 2 undefeated and doom was ahead of me with a loss.. that was crazy lol

Remaining Games:

Chargers-Steelers
Cowboys-Redskins
Saints-Vikings (Need a Saints sub)
Browns-Bengals
Patriots-Jets (possibly tonight, probably tomorrow)
49ers-Eagles (OG is subbing)
Panthers-Bucs
Packers-Bears
Titans-Chiefs
Rams-Raiders (Need a Raiders sub)
Falcons-Lions
Seahawks-Broncos

Only two games played so far, let's get going.

I haven't got a hold of the redskins owner, and he still didn't rejoin the league. When should I start asking for a sub? I'd rather not sim, since it's a another nfc east team.

THANKS for the help...desktop is an Asus:

-Intel (R) Core(TM) i5-2310 @ 2.90 GHz processor
-13 GB RAM
-Intel(R) HD Graphics Family Video Card
-816.8 GB Hard drive
-Windows 7

I think we got the computer roughly 6-10 months ago or something...it seems more than capable of running Diablo 3 aside from the video card of course.

And thanks Tanabeo but that seems a little excessive...I'm literally JUST gonna play Diablo 3, that video card looks like it's a lot better than what I'm looking for. I'm looking for something a little over $100...maybe 100-150. Man there are literally like a BILLION video cards out there...even if I type in a specific model like "Radeon 6850" or something, there are a hundred different Radeon 6850s that come up....this is overwhelming!!

Any thoughts on this one? : http://www.amazon.com/Sapphire-Rade...GIUK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1336928358&sr=8-1

You have 13gb of RAM and you're worried about an excessive video card ;)

I'd go with this - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...11189&creative=373489&creativeASIN=B004S5CCP4

You can beat eVGAs warranties and Radeon sux /fanboi

You'll be able to run it, but it will likely struggle without an upgrade. What's the wattage of the power supply?

With a 6870, you need at least a 500w supply otherwise you'll take performance hits.

I can't play at all today because of mother's day also tommrow I have to go shoot a video for school which should take up any free time I have. I really don't want to ask just to play the cpu since I know everybody else has to play a sub. But the way my schedule is working out I don't know if i'll have free time and the way I see it would suck to take a loss from a team that nobody's controlling.

How do you find out the wattage of the power supply? And how much power supply would you need to run the card that static linked to? Cause that one looks pretty good based off the reviews and price tag...it looks like the 6870 would run me an extra $40 or so. Is it worth it if I'm just gonna be playing Diablo 3?

Radeon 6870 - http://www.amazon.com/SAPPHIRE-Rade...1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1336934240&sr=1-1 - is that the one you guys recommend? I'm really not all that concerned about spending an extra $40 if you guys think that's the best option.
And people are saying the card is huge, do I have to worry about having room for it if I've never installed anything in my PC before? I've never removed the casing for anything, so I shouldn't have anything taking up any additional space back there.
Sounds like we've got ourselves the makings of a pretty decent Diablo 3 foursome.
Yeah once you finish that single-player nonsense!!

Open the case and check the side of the supply.

You wanna know how much of a freaking CPU n00b I am...? I have never opened my CPU case before so I ASSUMED I had to open it from the back with all the cords. So I proceeded to take out all the screws from the top where the power supply was, and once I realized I couldn't remove it by doing that...then I removed EVERY screw from the back to try to remove the casing. After THAT didn't work..then I looked it up online and realized I only had to take out 2 screws and then remove the side panel....ugh what a miserable experience. It took me roughly an hour just to check my power supply which should have taken 30 seconds.

Anyways..my power supply is a measly 330 W :( It says the peak output is 380 W (30 seconds). Do I have to upgrade my power supply too (assuming that's even possible)? Or are there still any decent video cards that my 330 W power supply can handle?

Or put in the new card and once it starts to overclock and your PC shuts down you need a bigger one:) If you get a EVGA 560 with that much ram you could run any game on ultra no problem

if its only 330 I would upgrade I had a 430 and was cutting it close when I only had a evga 465 of corse new cards take less power
