Madden 13 Official CAG League - On Hiatus. See you in August for Madden 25!

Widow and I are trying to play today but I'm not sure our schedules are gonna sync up. I'll be around for a while today until a little later. I'm probably leaving out around 4 or 5ish and he said he probably wouldn't be home until around that time so we'll see. Tomorrow I won't be available until about 6 in the evening.

There is a chance that I'll be back tonight and if I am I will attempt to get in touch with him but I'm leaving my home now and likely won't be back until tomorrow evening. I did text widow and he hasnt responded yet, but I imagine his availability hasn't changed.
 
Cardinals lose in the wildcard. Hard to feel good about this one, when it just feels like Madden repeatedly kicked me in the balls. From all the dropped passes, to Josh Morgan out jumping Patrick Peterson(with position), and Rg3 being his entire offense. This madden definitely fucked how defenses play the qb fake handoff run. Anyway even after that, Good Game. Looking forward to next year.

when i played the redskins he didnt run but once or twice with him and both times i beleive i stuffed rgIII. but for the most part i usually do pretty well against running QBs the only time this season one got away from me was cam newton in falcons panthers first game after that no more
 
Looks like I get the Redskins , it should be quite interesting being that we being playing Madden against each other since High School lol, I think Man is one of the three people I usually scrim alot with other than Mog and Ramesu.

We might have to put a side bet on the game , lol

My top 4 LBs' speeds are 86, 85, 85, and 86...so hopefully they can somewhat contain him! I should be able to utilize my FB (Tolbert) like he does with Reece...I just never really bothered trying to incorporate him into my passing game.
 
heads up to doom or mog, most likely not gonna be able to play tonight im goin to the pats game n gettin drunk, could play tmorrow during the day, but i leave for work around 2pm, wont be back till about 1130pm.
 
Let's talk about sliders.

If we're going to change them at all, we're only going to do it during the offseason. I'm inclined to leave them as they are, but if anybody feels that the league balance needs any tweaks, this is the time to discuss that. I believe the only vocal complaint I've heard is about the INT rate, but I don't know whether it rises to the level of needing to turn that down. What does everyone think?

--The sliders are fine. If you are going to do anything change the difficulty settings to All-madden!!!
 
I think the sliders are fine also if we are casting votes , I always got alot of INT's with my players, I do feel it is somewhat easier to get picks this year but I also seem to drop more picks this year also. I don't feel like I am doing anything extremely different than what I have done in the past.

If anything we need to turn fumbles up , I haven't gotten many of those this year, and I have yet to see the strip ball work.
 
Yea they downed the strip but there are plenty of fumbles. Hit stick fumbles kid taylor mays ray maualuga comin for ya head. Strip works good breakin up passes

I'm also not in favor of changing them. Are there any other opinions on changing the.difficulty to all-Madden? I'm not sure what affect it has on non CPU games other than the kick meter.
 
My vote would be sliders are fine and difficulty is fine. Changing the sliders won't effect it that much, if anything it'd just make it feel stupid(seriously there's already enough dropped balls to go around). The interceptions are just a madden problem. They make nearly every corner that has decent speed/man coverage almost impossible to beat. The only thing that's hard for me to swallow is all the faceless undrafted no name players that have so many interceptions.
 
i dunno if anyone else seen this before played an unranked match earlier he had the texans.... moves linebacker right between center and guard and everytime came untouched... i tried moving my lines blockin scheme and kept rb in i cauggt the shotgun and was sacked immediately...
 
isnt that a blitz play in the nickel it sounds like the sugar blitz play ive used that blitz a couple of times and it worked horrible everytime. is he swaying his players back and fourth to make them get a boost or just moving them into the spots?

hes movin the guy as close as he can and just sits there but when i snap it he gets a boost into the backfield and doesnt get touched... ive never seen it.before and never seen anyone in here do.it but i messaged him and said nice glitch and he said thanks ill stop.... and he did so not like i was upset it was just a practice game but worth noting cause there was no stopping it
