Damn, looks like Aaron Maybin didn't want to rejoin the Jets. Did someone grab him or does he just prefer not to play football this year? I think he's the only guy I didn't get during FA, but I only put out 4 offers.

Also, can't believe I signed two RTs and neither will be allowed to be plugged in at RG. Is that new to Madden 12 or are the depth charts just a little off during the offseason? I could've sworn you're able to move players along the line previously.

Edit: If anyone has a cheap RG with low to mid 80s in both run and pass block and want to swap for a RT with similar numbers, let me know. I'd prefer to just swap one of the RTs into the RG slot, but if I'm not able I need to make a move.

It's getting redundant to say it at this point, but Connected Careers is a colossal failure on almost every level.

easy fix for the people that made trades involving picks that didnt go thru just have to either trade during the draft or have the person draft the person they want them to draft using mics on the xbox like we had to do last year

Remember both users need to be online and in the connected careers screen.
 
I've been keeping up with your guys offseason progress for obvious reasons, and I gotta say, part of me wants to never advance after the Super Bowl, lol. Jesus...between the free agency issues (the tanabeo method) and no draft board, I don't know how EA even thought this mode was playable. What this spells for me is that people are going to be abandoning their teams sooner.

Anyone who isn't able to make it for the draft just seems likely to get completely screwed. I wouldn't be surprised if the game didn't even fill in their roster correctly (Oh, you've got 3 TE's...lets draft another one!). Both this game and NHL 13 are a complete mess this year. I've heard that Fifa is better...but somehow, I can't believe it.

Wouldn't surprise me if those who do make it get screwed as well.

I have absolutely no expectation that the draft will go smoothly. I know that sucks to say, but I have no faith whatsoever in this game anymore.

We didn't "set" the time. People voted on it. This time won.

We advanced now to give people a chance to set up their draft boards, which we assumed they would be able to do. It was announced in the thread that we'd be advancing at 2.

just so it is clear i told blade that if this trade has had a choice on it made before the draft that i would be backing out becuz i rather not take the risk of making the trade during the draft just for the committee to later say its no good. and yes we both realize its past the dealine so more than likely we wont know before the draft

So we can make draft day trades leading up to and during, correct?

I have the 105th, 11th and 119th picks in the 4th round. Looking to come some combination of them and maybe my 3rd (73rd) to get another 2nd round pick. Or use those 4th rounders to get another 3rd. If anyone is looking to move down, or move picks for multiple picks, hit me up.
 
they said we could but they may not get voted on and could get over ruled thats why i told blade if they didnt tell us we were good to go before the draf tthat i would be backing out of our trade

im praying the draft doesnt mess up cant wait till 7 central 8 eastern though im excited for it.

hey bv i know the deadline passed but wasnt sure if the committee took a look a at blades and I's trade if not no big deal of course since i t was past the dealine
 
just idea bv u could roll with it or not but u could open another onlnie league run through a draft and see wut kind of errors and shit happen also see if once u open the draft if u can set up a mock board. and test to see how well the trades during the draft work. wouldnt hurt to do that also i would be able to get online and do that with u and see if the trade shit actually works and everything before we get in to deep on that one
