Madden 13 Official CAG League - On Hiatus. See you in August for Madden 25!
Why didn't you tell me you were going back to the AFC West? I would've stayed!
I will trade you teams and if you want and we can do Foster for Dmac plus you would have palmer instead of schaub

My list was
1. Texans
2. Bucs
3. OAK
4.Redskins
5.Cin

As do I, the current Texans are built to explode within three seasons.

I dont like the idea of trades before we even play a game. We pride ourselves on realistic gameplay and by just trading it takes away from that. I understand with the salary cap that people will need to make OFF SEASON moves, but I think we really need to limit trades.

The trades will take care of themselves once you look at the money involved. More often than not, all these proposed mega trades won't be able to happen.

i was reading on the caps and i read somewhere that the commish can set the caps rooms higher or lower or off all together to set up his own style of caps room kindal ike the league has in the past.

i liked how it was last year but either way i think it will be interesting however we do im sure this year is going to be a whole lot harder though

I just want to get the texans and i know he wants foster so i would switch him teams and HBs to get the texans. If we could I would just switch every player on my team with his just so I could play in a texans jersey.

i just have a feeling that all the contract signings and everything is going to be tough in the offseasons. i wonder if they have franchise tags and UFA and regular FA during offseason im just curious to know how in depth they went with it. also how soon after the game comes out will we be starting the league up?

is it going to be right away. or is it going to be a week so that the 3 commishes can figure out how it all works and take votes on everything or whats the plan since its going to be so different this year

It won't be that difficult but it won't be as easy as last year either. Lining up contracts for trades won't be that tough and making sure you know which players are in the last year of their contracts will be key. I'm not sure about franchise tags, but I imagine restricted free agents will be there if they've taken the time to implement a salary cap.

Usually they wait until the first roster update before we begin. So probably a week or so after release.
All yours if we trade
I'll think about it. Don't get your hopes up though, need to check out their money situation.

Another reason I wanted the Texans was because of their dome. Less rain games for me.

well thats good thats means i will only miss the first two weeks when the league starts becuz of a deployment. i got some dumbass mission to where Borat was from lol i kid u not Kazakstan here i come. the shirt is black NOT!!!!!!!

since when does infantry do peace mission. o well i will take that over going back to afganistan for another year and missing madden 13 for a whole year

Considering the raiders had to dump half their squad to get under the cap this year...love the faiders!

Between managing the salary cap (including signing your players to long-term deals), being able to practice with your franchise team, running drills to earn XP, and browsing through all the options for spending your XP....I imagine waiting for the week to advance won't be so damn unbearable this year for people like me who try and get their games in right after advance!! There is so much shizz to do in between weeks now....this is gonna be awesome! In theory...

i agree im sure some people will be asking to slow down advancements so they can do everything. wuts the most important thing to do to work on XP points though

I dunno...we'll find out soon enough :) I'm probably gonna find time to do it ALL though, scrounging every last XP I can get my hands on!

very curious to know how bad EA messed this up. like can contract be made so u can pick how much they get paid each year
example:
30 million dollars 4 year contract
1st year get 5 mill
2nd year get 9 mill
3rd year get 4 mill
4th year get 12 mill

also curious to know if u can change contracts and get players to agree to free up cap space to being in other player to help win a SB

just thinking EA prolly didnt think everything though or that they did but didnt do much of it becuz well they dont have to when there they only football game out there.

im just hoping if there system sucks that we go to our old ways of doing it and keep it a little more simple than complicated and use EA's way if its fucked up. but if its good then well hell ya and good job EA for once

also just saw a video they put all the real life trades in the nfl into the game so the rams are going to be stacked on draft picks in this game and put a limit on how many xp u can earn
So how am I gonna be stacked with draft picks? How many?
I think he is saying if they do put the IRL traded picks in the game you have the redskins 1st round picks in the 2013 and 2014 draft

he said they were not doing real lif trades this yr

itlnstln - Seahawks
JoelyPoley - Chargers
saint'srow911 - Browns
GPNinja - Rams

There you go, all your teams are now set. Now the waiting begins!

How are you planning on watching it? I always stream pre-season games on firstrowsports

Wasn't. I don't really care too much about watching the pre-season. If anything, I'll watch the last game.

Poppycock. How also can you see Ryan Mallet and Brian Hoyer (and Tavon Wilson!) in action? I love pre-season games.

Edit: I don't want the answer to that question.

162+ games vs. 20+ games. Go with the Ravens

Pre-season Ravens vs Playoff-pushing Os? Come on! And this is coming from a guy who is going to the bar tomorrow to watch the Jets pre-season game.
I'm more excited to build up this team than actually playing the games.
They're already a pretty good team. Let's not act like you took the Rams. ;)

Id go with the O's, not every year they are in the playoff race. Tape the ravens and watch it later.

Same dilemma I am facing with the Pirates vs. Saints.. NOT a bandwagon Pirates fan btw.. but their game is at 4 and saints do not play till 7 :)

Anyone know when they'll release the full HB rankings? I'm eager to see what I've got in McGahee and Moreno. They'll at least need to hold down the fort in season one until you guys let the Madden 13 version of Cobie Ross fall to me in the first draft. ;)

When you have a top ten pick...players don't slip they're still there ;)
Football > Baseball
true i love football but the os are killing it right now and our biggest posistion prospect in our minor leagues is being called up from double a skipping triple a due to our shitty luck with 3rd baseman...... thats pretty fucking cool.... i wanna watch the ravens offense cause apparently they have looked real good but defensively jimmy smith courtny upshaw ray lewis ed reed all on the bench.... sergio kindle im intersted in i like paul kruger and i would like to check out these young wrs who hopefully will not drop another clutch catch that allows the patriots to go to the superbowl
