but when the games close u can't expect to us just give up on what working. if so i guess next time i'm done i will only run when i should be passing
The Problem is that 90% of the time "What's Working" falls into one of a few categories:
A. Cheese
B. Exploiting the Defense
C. Motion Plays That Abuse Maddens Logic.
This is why high scoring games are frowned upon.
I'm going to give you an example, and hope it sinks in.
Doomtime was by far the best rushing player we've ever had in this league.
In 2014 Foster ran 313 times for 3042 yards for 9.7 YPC for 41 TD.
in 2013 Foster ran 294 times for 2,911 yards for 9.9 YPC for 46 TD.
in 2012 Foster ran 244 times for 2,116 yards for 8.7 YPC for 37 TD
I'll remind you, this is our League Leader. over and over again.
He went up every year, but atleast these are SOMEWHAT realistic numbers (2012 being the closest to realistic)
Now let's move on to the Jets Aerion Boudreaux.
In 7 games he's ran 142 times for 1741 yards for 12.3 YPC for 16 TD
If we take this sample data and fast forward 9 games.
He'll Average out at 324 carries for 3980 yards for 12.3 YPC for 37 TD.
This is more yards than most Qb's will see in a single season.
I don't mean to pick on you yo so el tiger, but frankly, i've been holding this in since your first game in the league. You ran the ball 23 times and only Completed 2 Passes in that game.
But since i'm picking on people, Let's pick on you too, dvo.
You ran the ball once for 2 yards in your game against tiger.
There's got to be some balance here, guys.
If this is the way we're going to continue to play madden(not just limiting this statement to tiger and dvo, this is a very broad comment), i'm honestly going to consider removing myself from this league moving forward.
Some of you guys play Madden like you don't give a shit about the integrity of the game, all you care about is winning. And I for one am tired of it.
