any word on the pryor trade?
We're working on it.

I do want to remind everybody when you're making deals involving picks: There's a very decent chance this is going to be the last full season of the league.

Deuce and I started our game several times and kept getting disconnected, so we're going to try again later. Couldn't believe the shit luck Deuce was struck with though, as Arian Foster fumbled his 1st carry in BOTH games. That strikes me as statistically unlikely.

Crazy game between the Titans and Jags. The Titans held out in the end and got the win 31-28. Good game cool i am! I think the division is yours!

Real convenient that Doom scoops up Mike Vick when he doesn't need him in a place he shouldn't be picking, and then drops him for his brother who rolls with running QBs

Good game Giants, my offense couldn't get anything going.
Is it okay to use a RB as a slot receiver? because the eagles had Mccoy at slot the whole game
This was already discussed and its okay. No Idea if the whole game is okay, but since it was only in that one formation it doesn't really concern me.
He wanted nothing to do with Philly. You dumped him.
I traded him for a 90 overall who cost 12mil less a year
And who just got knocked out for the season sacking him.

Good game, and why didn't you go after him during free agency?
Good game, and why didn't you go after him during free agency?
I didn't especially want him, I might have picked him up for the 2mil you and Doom signed him for. But since a Super Bowl contender got to pick before me in the waiver free agency, I didn't get a chance.

I probably sound Salty. It's not an issue for me, I was just pointing out that it probably should not have gone down how it did. If I really cared I would have said more at the time it happened.

it's clear that I'm in over my head right now. to be 0-5 wouldn't be an issue if the games were competetive but they're not even close. i legitimately see myself going 0-16 and i refuse to suffer thru that. If there's someone on the waiting list, they can have Houston. If there's nobody waiting, I'll try to stick this out but I'm sure at some point, I'm gonna rage quit. I'll be ready for Madden 14 or 25 or whatever they call it

There's nobody on it right now, but we can look for someone new. I definitely understand where you're coming from though, you're at a huge disadvantage after such a long layoff playing against people who've had months and months with their team, especially since you slid right into Houston's 1st place schedule. The rust is obvious, we both know I'm not 27 points better than you when you're on your game, ours have always been competitive. If you don't want to stick it out, there's no hard feelings at all, we appreciate you giving it a go.

Want me to drop someone so you can add them? :D

I'm not going to lie, when I saw the league twitter I actually had exactly the same reaction as LV. It is awfully convenient, but I know Doom better than that, he wouldn't do anything that insidious.

Eagles move to 1-4. The loss of Desean is killing me since I've apparently become addicted to Passing.

Adrian Wilson will join him on the bench all season after getting the same injury sacking Vick.

I've been pretty lucky with injuries the last three seasons. I guess I was due.

Denver Broncos 34 - Houston Texans 7

The Broncos hosted the Texans in their last game before the bye, and finally got their running game going as designed, racking up big yards on the ground to defeat the visitors. Other than a last second TD by Andre Johnson in the first half (which was giving me unpleasant flashbacks to the infamous playoff loss to Doom), the defense was stout once again.

Osweiler was 8 of 9 for 131 yards, 2 TDs and 0 INT (finally protecting the ball like usual after throwing an INT in each game so far).

Flacco was 4 of 10 for 98 yards, 1 TD and 3 INTs.

McFadden carried 23 times for 183 yards and 2 TDs before yielding late, with McGahee carrying 8 times for 30 and Seaver 2 times for 19.

Arian Foster was effective on limited touches, carrying 6 times for 37 yards, but the score forced the ball out of his hands.

VJax had 2 catches for 71 yards and a TD, while Demaryius Thomas had 3 for 53 and a TD.

Andre Johnson did all the damage for the Texans, catching 3 balls for 97 yards (most of them on 2 big plays to end the half).

The Broncos got 2 sacks from (who else?) Jaron Archer and 1 from Von Miller. Picks by Moore, Haden and Williams.

The Texans didn't turn the Broncos over, but Brian Cushing did rack up 9 tackles, including 2 for a loss.

gg Deuce! Like I said, it was pretty obvious you're rusty, so I'm not going to feel too emboldened by this one. Still nice to get the win.

Broncos move to 4-1 heading into their bye (which I sorely need, even if they don't). In first place for now, but some tough games coming out of the bye for sure, including both games against the Chiefs still to play.

As I remember it, when I pointed that out to Doom he said he would wait. Nobody else put a claim in on him during the waiver period, so Doom took him when Group 4 rolled around.

It's definitely a bit annoying for him to go for free to the Giants (not sure why Doom didn't try to trade him), but unfortunately that's one of the consequences of having open free agency.

Okay, in that case I owe doom an apology for the accusation. Dunno what the fuck I was smoking when I picked up Dallas Clark. I checked QBs and didn't see him when I picked.

Well, I thought I remembered Doom relinquishing him, but I couldn't find the post. Oh well.

I only used him twice during the preseason as a tryout. Read-option isn't for me and he is a fumble machine.

I feel pretty good about this team other than my lack of a shutdown corner, didn't need to trade him, just set him free after my game with the Jets. I would've wanted draft picks, but those are worthless now.

Looking to upgrade my line with the money I have left.

I'm not one to quit just cuz I'm losing... but at the same time, knowing my level of competency in past Madden editions compared to what's being displayed right now is embarrassing.

as with any other personal issues that occur in the realm of Madden, I'll sleep on it. i don't know how my mind would react to no football til August (real or simulated)
any idea on when these games are gonna be played?
Colts were suppose to play Cpu i believe.
any idea on when these games are gonna be played?
Nope, that's why I'm posting them. :D

But yes, the Colts can play the CPU.

My opponent messaged me earlier and stated he was on auto for me to play CPU because he isn't sure if he will be back home at 8 or not I get off work at 7:00 and should be home to play CPU at 7:30 unless I get off early
are we allowed to do hurry up outside of 2 minutes at end of the half?
Ur not allowed to do it constantly unless its under 2 mins but other then when I did it with a min left I remember 2 times I did it one time directly after a play if that makes sense.. didn't feel as if it was unfair cheap or to much in any way
