The weird thing about Warner coming back (other than just the basic weirdness of it) is that you can't see a guy's attributes in FA. So anyone bidding on him will basically be guessing.

He came back in the other league. I will post up his attributes when I have a chance.

Thanks!
I'm looking for a good DT or Center. Willing to move my first round pick as part of the deal. PM me if you've got anyone matching that description that you're looking to move.
well i guess the moment of ttruth with Antonio Smith will be coming up shortly. im still not sure why he didnt show up in my resign box like everyone else.
Yeah Warner un-retired in my other league (although it was after the first season, not the second), but he was pretty beastly. I know his THP and every THA was at least 90...except maybe throw on the run. Definitely elite status!
Kenny Britt wasn't on my negotiation screen when I Just did my offers at work I made a list of people on there this time around too, after the whole Rodgers- Cromartie thing last year.
i trade for smith during the start of the season last year with doom. doom told me he had made no contact to sign him so i would be able to sign him he wasnt on my list of guys to resign even though i knew he should have been.
and the year before that mike wallace showed up just fine so im not sure wut the deal was with smith not being in there. so i pretty much traded for a guy i figured i could reason resign at the end up of season no problem but he didnt show up in the box for soem odd reason
y does the browns explusive rights to manning again?
Because he retired from their team with about 4 years left on his deal only to come back the next year. By NFL rules he'd still be under their control, so we're letting him sign him.
I'm not aware of any other players in the same boat, but if anyone knows of one let me know.
The problem with giving exclusive rightsin situations where a traded player is in the last year of their deal is that there's no guarantee that those guys would have re-signed if you did have the option. The majority of players in that situation seem to reject the contracts and opt for FA. I know we did it to some extent last season, but I think we need to figure out if it's the best practice. We'll discuss it.
So you can't see any of their ratings what so ever?
Nope. Just another puzzling design decision from EA. You can check their ratings in the rosters of another league to get at least a semblance of an idea, but otherwise it's all guess work. Very annoying.

Will we know the verdict for this season before the first advance being that some of those mentioned players could be snatched.
Could I potentially trade negotiation rights to manning? I believe I can.
Fair question, but we're going to say no on this. If you decide you don't want to re-sign him that's fine, and in that case we'll open him up to everyone. But the exclusive negotiating rights we're giving you on him are a special circumstance, so it wouldn't really be fair to let you trade them to someone else.
You're welcome to sign him and then trade him though.
Weren't you just talking about how much you needed him as a player because you "got screwed" by the last owners trade?
What is the harm in asking as simple question. He is my player anyway. If I want to entertain the idea of trading him, I can.

ya warner came back a beast in the other league for an old man. i hope tony g comes back from retirement he signed a 5 year deal then retired on my ass
It's nice going into this off-season without a ton of holes like last. Though safeties don't seem to like to play for the Jets. Last season Landry bounced and Bell retired, now Lowery won't resign with me. If Kerry Rhodes could hold out in this game, he would.
Can we just sign Free Agents or is there some sort of order?
It appears in the rules that the game has regulated it and I can bid on whoever, but some users have said they have exclusive rights so I don't want to bid on the wrong player and sign someone I shouldn't.

I believe Peyton Manning is the only person with exclusivity rights. You should be free to bid on any other free agents though.
Edit: If anyone wants Blane Gabbert for a 3rd Round pick, hit me up!
Chargers Trade Block: all ratings are in my scheme
Weddle FS 91 rating Cromartie CB 89 rating (I like him so it would cost you) Phillips OLB 93 rating (I like him so it would cost you) Gates TE 89 rating Matthews RB mid 80's Meachem WR 84 rating Johnson OLB 84 rating Clements CB 84 rating Vasquez RG 80 rating Gaither LT 77 rating (low in my scheme) Royal WR 85 rating Floyd WR Mid 80's
The god send Tim TEBOW is on the block as well.
I'm looking to get younger, faster, and a half decent QB.
