Warner's ratings: (I am not posting speed or anything like that. That's not the reason you're getting Warner)

THP: 90

TRUN: 66

Just got home from work so sorry if this has been asked 500 times. Are we able to freely sign free agents, or is there an order?

Thanks!

I just asked the same question. We can sign freely with the exception of Peyton Manning. I think the Browns have the rights to him.

Thanks man.

Chargers are looking to make moves so look at my trade block above. I'm looking to get younger, faster, and a half decent QB.

man I am pretty screwed LOL. I am -1.03 in cap space and i have a lot of holes. I only have 3 WR's, no punter, 1 center, 1 right tackle, 1 RE, 4 CB's, and 1 DT

I can take on salary if it is the right player. What team are you?

Does anyone know if theres an easy way to tell what number you pick at the draft?

Go to trade players and look at picks. It should show up which one you have.

Cowboys Trade Block: all ratings are in my scheme

Tony Romo - 85 ovr
DeMarco Murray - 85 ovr

Looking for draft picks and a WR but I am open to discussion since i have many holes. More may be up for grabs for the right trade. I will probably add more later when I have time. Please PM me instead of responding here.

Ruling on Unsignable Traded Players:

The commissioners have talked over the situation that both Cru and DVO are in with regards to players they traded for and were not offered the chance to re-sign. This is a known issue with the game, and last offseason we did give people exclusive rights to players in the same situation. Given that, and that we never said the policy was not still in place, we felt it was fair that we do so again.

So the following players will be exclusive to the following teams:

WR Kenny Britt - 49ers
RE Antonio Smith - Falcons

If you've made an offer on one of these players, please withdraw it ASAP.

If you feel like you have a player in the same situation (that is you traded for them and then they left without offering you the chance to re-sign them) please let us know by tomorrow evening's deadline (8PM EST) and we will look into the situation.

This is the last offseason that we will be allowing this exception. Starting next offseason, we will no longer be doing so, it's just going to be a risk you're taking when trading for someone in the final year of their deal.

The free agents don't sign on the first week right? Because I can't withdraw my offer I hit dismiss on the tab under my actions all I can see is "Ready to Advance" and I have an offer for Britt

I highly doubt he'll sign the first week. If you're unable to do it this week, just do it next.

is there a rule about how many years we offer? wasnt sure if there was one made after last season or not. just curious so i dont make any mistakes

I will do it first thing after we advance tomorrow. And if someone wants Kurt you are going to have to give him more than 22 mil thats what I offered him plus I got the QB FA boost

Is Best or Turner FAs? If so I traded for them in the last year of their deal.

I can offer more.

If you want to be called Tanabeo Jr.

No, there isn't. I wish we had thought of that, but unfortunately that ship has sailed. We'll definitely limit it for Madden 14. I would ask that people be reasonable and not offer older players 7-year deals knowing they'll retire before the big money is due.

the other league has a rule that if ur trying to resign ur own player offer them as much as u want on years but in FA u can only offer them as many years as the person is asking for that way the person wins by offering the most money within the years there asking for

I know what their rule is, and I was all for it. As I said at the time they put it in, it's really too late for us to do the same.

Trust me, I'd love to do it, but people have already benefited from signing those types of deals (mostly Tanabeo, lol), so it would affect competitive balance to cut it off now.
So you were given the chance to re-sign Best? But not Turner?
I wasn't given a chance to resign either, and I'd like both back. All players show 1 week left last week, so I didn't know who wanted deals and who didnt out of those that didn't show up for resignings.

Best wasn't in the last year of his deal then, since he's still on the team. In the first week of the offseason, both the players who are currently FAs and the ones who are entering their last year display as 1 year left, which is truly confusing.

Anyway, you can add Michael Turner to the list.. Though honestly I doubt too many people were going to be lining up to give a 32-year old back $9M a year.

I'll reiterate though, the exclusivity isn't a license to lowball them, you still need to pay them what they're asking for.

thats very true and can see where thats completely fair idea. not that i plan to make FA splash anyways. my only FA worry at this point is to get smith back to the team. plus everything i wanted to gain im trying to make via trades
bengals making a push for welker, givin him way more than hes askin for from the krafts....
More than the chargers?

I just looked at everyone's contracts and I don't feel bad about me offering guys 5 years some people did it way worse than me
All your FAs belong to me
Noticed you made an offer on him:
A friendly reminder to everyone that DT Ty Warren remains bugged and is unusable in-game, so don't go trying to sign him.
Man FA raped me hard this year...I lost:

My #2 QB
My #1 (last-second retirement actually...R.I.P. Smitty), #3, #4, #5 WRs
My #2 LT
My #2 RG
My #2 RT
My #1, #2 LEs
My #1 DT
At least my whole secondary/LB corps stayed though.

And after all that...I have a whopping total of 8 million dollars in cap space -_-

Next year's going to be the rough year for me. Pretty much every elite player on my team is heading into his contract year. That includes Joe Haden, Von Miller and Demaryius Thomas. It's going to take some fancy moves to keep all of them, so there's a pretty good chance I'll end up moving one or two at the deadline. I'm going super cheap in FA this season in preparation for next year's deluge.
