Madden 13 Official CAG League - On Hiatus. See you in August for Madden 25!
Welp I'm done predicting things. Dumervil took a pay cut.
Thus ending my dream of being able to call him Flying Elvis Dumervil.

looks like elvis has left the building after all and might be firing his agent as well for messing things up

I wouldn't be surprised if his phone rang from the Patriots approximately 3 seconds later. Pouncing on a bonehead move like this by another franchise would be positively Belichickian. Remember what happened with Jake Ballard?

Bucs come into this game with a few goals. To control the time with the run game and stop the other teams run OFF. Now i didn't stop the run as much as i wished but it was enough to get the job done.

Freeman 83.9 QBR 212 yards 2 TD 4 INT
Smith 21 ATT 86 yards 1 TD
Hill 71 Yards 1 TD
McKenzie started the game off with a usered pick 6, but had to go away from the 3-4 cause he was picking it apart.
Bass also had an INT

Webb 67 passing yards 1 TD 2 INT 52 rushing yards
AP who was mighty hard to stop. ran for 154 yards and 1 TD
Watson 38 yards 1 TD
Antrel Rolle 9 Tackles 2 INT
Hill and Floyd also added an INT.

GG Doo Mane it was a fun one. once again you slowed my pass down and played great D i just happen to have the better day. Good luck next season.

Bucs are going to the NFC Championship. Now im watching chetty and sprice play to see who i will play. Cards 28 Lions 7 toward the end of the 3rd.

GG Hemingway! Yeah that was a fun game. You definitely threw me off with those counter and draw plays lol. Good luck the rest of the playoffs!

Yeah that was the strategy. My run game wasn't great but good enough.

Will Deuce be able to resign who he wants and use these scouting points before the draft? I intentionally left these guys unsigned so he could make those financial decisions. Hopefully they don't get thrown into the free agency pool after we advance.

He should be able to as long as he takes over during that phase. At least I assume so. Could you keep a list of them just in case?

And the Bucs and Cards will rematch in the Nfc Championship. The Cardinals beat the Lions 31-21 to earn their trip to the game. Chet Hem made a gutsy call going with Nick Foles for the first time all year and it paid off. Foles finished the game 16/18 with 258 yards and 1 touchdown for a qb rating of 137.2. Honestly, I was questioning whether or not i'd actually go through with it. Especially, when Sprice drove down the field on the opening drive in less than 30 seconds. But Foles and Doug Martin stepped up and never let the Lions get any momentum or into any rhythm. The Cards dominated time of possession 14:17 to 5:43. Neither defense was spectacular, the difference was that the Lions could not get off the field on third down. It's pretty impressive that neither team had a turnover as well.

Lions-
Jake Locker- 9/13 for 207 yards with 3 touchdowns and a qb rating of 151.4. Locker added 56 yards rushing.
Darrius Heyward-Bey- 4 receptions for 117 yards and 1 td.
Calvin Johnson- 2 receptions for 41 yards and 1 td.
Stephen Tulloch- 8 tackles, 3 for a loss.

Arizona-
Nick Foles- 16/18 for 258 yards with 1 touchdown for a qb rating of 137.2
Doug Martin- 17 rushes for 106 yards and 3 touchdowns. He also added 36 receiving yards.
Daniel Kescoli- 5 receptions for 115 yards and 1 touchdown.
Calais Campbell- 6 tackles, 4 for a loss, and 3 sacks.

Good Game Sprice and THANK YOU LV :)

You can not complete the practice for the week you take over. I don't know how it works in off season. I would be extra careful though.

I think there's ample evidence at this point that the offense you are running could be successfully executed by pretty much any quarterback with a pulse.

Thanks. Doom, just drop out whenever you lose (or after the SB but before advance if you play in it) so he's in control when we hit the offseason just in case.

Texans Defense Clamps Down in Cincy, 21-10 Texans

Silky Johnson's farewell tour is extended for another week as they take down the Bengals on the road. Score remained deadlocked at zero until Josh Brown booted a 58 yarder to make it 3-0 with three minutes left in the 2nd quarter. Houston answered with a bomb to Owen Daniels to make it 7-3.

The Texans tacked on another seven with a Foster scamper from inside the 5 after a Dalton interception.

14-3 Texans at the half

The story of the game was Cincy's ability to move the ball down the field at will, only to turn it over when in the redzone. Houston had three redzone takeaways on the day (five total).

Another late pick allowed Foster to make it a 21-3 game. Cincy returned the next kickoff, but Houston was able to grind away the majority of the clock and seal the game. GG bseti

Phillip Rivers 13 of 16 200 yds 1 TD 1 INT
Arian Foster 10 att 44 yds 2 TD

Andy Dalton 11 of 23 172 yds 5 INTs
DeRay Ray 100 yd Return TD
Will Fero be around to advance us tonight? Both games are ready to be played.
All it takes is a PM folks. Nobody sent me a pm, didn't know we were ready to advance.

It's Friday night, I have a life. Sorry ;)

Advancing now.
please don't draft on Friday or Saturday night
I have to apologize in advance, both of those days will most likely be included in the options, and if 90% of the league can draft on one of those days, that's the day we'll use.

Once again. Sorry.

Another AFC Title Game Thriller, Texans Escape Buffalo 34-27

The Texans are back in the big dance!

For the second consecutive year, the Texans managed to clinch a Superbowl berth in heartstopping fashion.

Buffalo struck quickly late in the 4th, scoring 10 unanswered points with under two minutes to play. With 12 seconds to go, Buffalo tied the game at 27, after failing to convert a 3rd and 1 (He had it, but the receiver just decided to drop it).
The Bills kicked off to Keshawn Martin and he takes it up to middle where the Bills swarm in...and crush.....no he breaks several tackles and takes it all the way to the house! 104 yard return to take the lead with six seconds to play!

Buffalo took one last heave and it was batted down. Texans pull it off. Great game Ramesu.

Back and forth game, managed to get Foster going on the ground which helped me keep the lead until the 4th. Another crazy game.

Phillip Rivers 12 of 14 174 yds 1 TD 1 INT
Arian Foster 21 att 161 yds 1 TD
Andre Johnson 6 rec 84 yds

Cameron Czaplewski 12 of 19 191 yds 1 INT
CJ Spiller 7 att 16 yds 2 TDs
Brandan Collins 5 rec 125 yds

Pats re-sign Talib and also add Adrian Wilson. Loving their offseason on the defensive side of the ball so far, especially if they can add a pass rusher to the mix (ideally Dumervil, but Freeney or Abraham would be fine too).

alright first game im down by 10 with 2 min left i tie up the score bring it to overtime im getting the ball first then disconnect.

next 3 games all tied late in the game also disconnects.

Last game chetty jumps to an early lead so i decided to just run out the clock i ran out most of the 3rd and was still going when we disconnected again. So fuck it chetty is playing the cpu.

man sucks for it to end this way but it is what it is.

Good Games chetty lol.

Best of luck to Doom and chetty in the superbowl.

It's been fun fellas. Win or lose this is Silky's last game. Hopefully I'll be back for Madden 25.

Houston's run heavy gameplan proved effective as Foster put the team on his back and powered his way past Arizona's #1 defense. Rivers made some key 3rd down throws to extend drives, and the Texans were able to control the clock and not turn it over. Arizona struck first, utilizing a nice mix of Foles and Martin. Martin capped off the drive with a 39 yard run, untouched.

Houston answered with Foster, who managed to score from inside the Arizona 10.
Arizona drove down quickly on the next drive, but Houston managed to clamp down and stop the Cards at the 2.

From there, Houston managed to take the lead behind the legs of SuperFoster and make it 14-10. They tacked on another score with Tate on their next possession, a nice 22 yard scamper. 21-13 Houston at the half

The 2nd half, Houston's power run extended the lead. At one point, it stood 41-13, but Foles and the Cardinals strung together some surgical drives to end the game.

Final score 41-27 Texans

GG Chetty

Arian Foster 28 att 234 yds 3 TDs
Ben Tate 2 att 22 yds 1 TD
Kyle Wilson 19 yds INT TD

Nick Foles 15 of 30 216 yds 2 TD 1 INT
Doug Martin 8 att 88 yds 1 TD
Devin Thompson 6 rec 105 yds 2 TD

I have finally parted ways with Alex Smith. His efforts are appreciated, but not really because he's awful.

The Jags are in dire cap situations. I think I have freed up enough to sign a few players, but don't expect me to be able to carry 53.
