I read posts from other people who has got a free subscription to it. You can add a demo disk for $12 a year somehow if you want.
 
I got Maxim and Stuff on Wednesday and while I was looking at the sticker on the magazine it says that my subscription lasts til September of '05. I thought it was only for one free year. Oh well... :D

I just recieved my first issue of OXM yesterday. Pretty good mag. I had forgotton that I had even ordered it so I guess it takes some time. The only thing is since its a promotional subscription you dont get the demo disk. At least I didnt. But anyway, thought I would post an update on this. Take care,

Got my first GamePro today. I've always liked the mag, and it's better now that it's FREE! =)

Nope, no one gets the disk. Oh well, the mag is still worth reading.
 
I've gotten XBN, Game Pro, Stuff, Maxim, PC World, and digital versions of PC Magazine and Golf Week. Maxim, Stuff, and Game Pro just came late this week.
 
is there a new one for maxim up yet? cuz i think i accidentaly cancelled mine. I just got my Stuff and probably shouldve gotten the Maxim too
 
Got gamepro today and it doesn't suck. I don't see what is so bad about it especially since it is free.

Secondly let's try to keep this thread clean by not posting so many "I haven't got it yet" or "I finally got it" posts.

And for those ready to complain about the fact that I said I got it - the only reason I said anything was because I wanted to talk about keeping this thread clean.
 
I forget what all I signed up for but so far I've got GamePro, Blender and one of those "almost Playboy" magazines... Stuff I think... anyway, great stuff and Stuff is great! And of course if all else fails I simply rip out each page and put it through a paper shredder, then it's guaranteed fun, and also useful as cheap confetti, actually... free confetti... wait a minute, I could make a fortune off of this!!!

Also if you don't like the magazines, it can be turned into litter, or if you have birds you can place in at the bottom of the cage, or you can put it in front of your fish tank to let the fish read it. They won't be bored by it, they only have an attention span of like 6 seconds... Discovery channel...

just one more guy ringing in to say that i got Maxim, Stuff, Budget Living (craft magizine for my girl) and GamePro in my mailbox this week addressed to a Mr. Fatkid Lovescake.

on a side note, someone smashed our mailbox the other day so my first issue of Maxim was wet because the box wouldnt shut right and it rained. i now have a new Rubbermaid Mailbox, so hopefully no more trouble.

It's been at least 3 months if not more, since I subscirbed to, Gamepro, Stuff, Maxim, and a couple of other ones. And guess what? Nothing yet! What is the deal, it's been more than 6-8 weeks. I did get a free demo that I found thanks to CheapAssGamer. Anyways, does anyone have a clue why I haven't gotten 'em even tho it's been awhile?

I signed up for Gamepro when the deal first came up so I guess that''ll be like July I think. mna you guys who get Maxim and Stuff are lucky since I'm living with my parents and all..
 
Started to get the actual business mags from FreeBizMag this week, but none of the consumer ones (tips/tricks, Xbox one) and still no Blender/Maxim. My signups were late July/Early August, for those curious.
 
a great way to check is to go to the magazine's website, and check you status there..usually they have a way to enter you email and then you can see when you issues will arrive and when it'll expire..
I signed up for a few mags in early aug and it says on all the sites to expect my mags first week of nov..
 
i just got my 1st issue of official xbox mag and inside it said if the disk was faulty you could order a replacement. . . (page 14 of november issue.) it says contact by email so you could just say you picked up your copy at kmart. it should work!
 
what about the accnt number, do you just make one up? and if they find out you screwed them, they now have your adress, they could press charges.
