My OXM never has a demo. I got the free subscription but there isn't a demo disk. What should I do?

If you look towards one of the last handful of pages of OXM, there's a lil box that says you can order their demos for a dollar a month if you call some number. You might wanna give that a try...
 
i got psm too and that magazine stinks...all they say is how great the ps2 is and how crappy every other console is...it is funny but at the same time i feel very sad for them...well i use the magazine for my bird's crap pad...usually i use the newspaper but i rather read that instead of this crap that they call a magazine....SO I POOP ON YOU!! well my BIRD POOPS ON YOU!!!!

nintendo power does the same thing. and their crap too, they keep their nose so far up nintendo's a$$...
 
i got my gamepro subsciption and my sister got ym mag. im not gonna get billed for these sometime down the road am i? i dont wanna get screwed with a 40 dollar charge for the 2 when i could have easily gone without either. can someone reassure me of this?
 
Many many people have got these free subscriptions and havent reported anything like that. I havent heard anyone with the gamepro one complain about a bill yet. I have heard no problems with Freebizmag and its magazine deals.

A lot of us seem to live in Florida. I like GamePro a lot, have for many years. I trust their previews, news, and reviews. Most of the time, I agree with their perspectives.
 
i like all multi-console mags because they are less bias but these system specific magazines are horrible...i cant think of anyone who wants to pay for psm when they dont even report everything properly...after this subscriptions is up i will not even renew even if it is for free because it is the worst magazine ever
 
Gamepro sucks because: late reviews and its reviews are small and short. There must be more reasons...that doesn't mean I dont read it:). It's free so I can't turn that down. I agree with you bmac, the console-specific mags prophesizes their consoles like missionaries do to religion. The only good one I've read is Macworld (or something like that..I don't have a Mac) cuz they don't diss on their rival, the PC.

Sweet, I signed up for all four of those mags onewingedangel, and I wanted 3 of them. The fourth one I figured, 'Why not? It's free!' so I got it too.

wow..this site's great..well anyway i just wanted to ask if there's any catch to that gamepro offer?...like after the year subscription done, do i need to renew or do they just stop sending it to me or do i have to personally cancel? just asking because i dont know where im gonna be staying in the next year and i dont want something like me not paying for something to follow me around...well yea thanks in advance...

I started to get it last week. It took a good 10 weeks minimum, but more like 12-14 weeks to get it. It's scheduled to be 2 years, but I started with the DEC 03 issue and it runs to OCT 05.... so I missed out on 2 :/

What combination of industry and job title did you put in there to get it to offer you that? I was actually fairly honest on the questionnaire and that first menu, and the blasted thing didn't even give me Sporting News. It gave me "eWeek" instead. I already get "eWeek," and it's the best of these free IT-industry mags I have read [I'm comparing it to InformationWeek and Baseline here], but I would actually want to read more than three pages of FHM and/or Sporting News on a regular basis.
 
For everyone saying they haven't received their issues yet, just wait. Don't get so anxious. If you wanted them NOW, go BUY them!

I've been receiving my GamePro and PSM now for a few months, and couldn't be happier.

Either be patient, or goto Safeway and buy them. I can't believe some of you people are getting so bent out of shape.

My parents were pretty mad when Maxim and Stuff came the other day. Oh well, I could not give a damn what they think. They keep on calling me a little perv. I'm even 18.
