It will go down in video game history as... the worst selection of a venue to unveil a major announcement.
 
You can buy all Xbox 360 online through the Marketplace, and a 300GB HDDD will be given out free.

At least I can dream.

I think they fucked themselves up by saying "It'll go down in video game history"...because if it is something like.. the announcement of a game..then .. :roll: but if it's actually something .. interesting..like they bought out Namco, then good for them.

Major disappointment all around. :waits for it:
 
Personally I hope that they're going to announce Mass Effect has gone gold, but I doubt they would announce something like that at Namco event. Whatever it is, I doubt it going to go down in video game history.

If it's an XBL thing, then ad supported gold-like service instead of pay. 1 year later: No one pays for Live.
 
I'm interested in seeing how not major this is. The only major thing I'm thinking it could be is MGS4, but even that isn't an announcment that would "go down in video game history."

Really? I'm surprised at the number of people saying that MGS4 going 360 wouldn't be a notable day in videogame history. After 10+ years of exclusivity to the PSX, and PS2, you guys really don't think it would that epic if it happened?

Starcraft 2 with the compatability Shadowrun has between PC and 360 fits the build here nicely. That is the only way I could possibly see Asia adopting the 360 and since the announcement it is for gamers around the world, lol. Other than that that crappy igintion service sounds right.

Although they could go crazy and say Duke Nukem Forever has gone gold and will be a PC and 360 exclusive, lol.

Sad thing is I was talking to my cousin about Twin Snakes just earlier today.
 
I have a few suspicions. Either it's Ignition, MS announcing Namco debuting 1-3 or more Namco exclusive games OR MS announcing that Namco has decided to go 360 exclusive with their game lineup, at least here or Europe or both.

If you look at MGS2 it came out after the original hit on PS2, just think how much trouble Sony could be in if this happened. I mean all Sony would have left is it's own 1st party stuff and FF XIII as exclusives (not that I hate Sony but I am just saying).
 
Price cuts would be nice, because i would be back at Walmart getting the difference :)

I still like the idea of Tekken on the 360, and it IS a well received game around the world. But that probably isn't the news. But hey, 3 or so housr and we'll know :)
