Wow so my classic mags has 1 in blue and that only happened because of that was a daily reward on day 135. How hard is it to get that cover?
I have 5 blue and no purple, and I've sold a sixth blue recently. So, once you figure that out, let me know the secret of getting a purple cover.
I really want to pump my HP into Daken actually but I dont have enough of a base to warrant that much. If I could score even just two more covers randomly or so then I would gladly pay for 3 more to make him a viable character.
I'm in the same boat. Part of the problem was that until recently, his covers were not in the drop tables for tokens. But man, I'd like to play around with a covered version.
What purchase will make my team that much better right now?
I know you said don't question your play style, but it does have impact on the decision. I mean, I could probably spend HP on Daredevil right now to get him maxed out (currently 5/2/4), but that doesn't make any sense, especially since the AI recognizes trap tiles as a viable threat.
That being said, I concur on black Hulk or purple Mags. I think I lean towards Magneto even with the impending funbalancing. Your Hulk is already useful as-is, and Magneto could use both the damage and health improvement. Plus, the villain lightning rounds seem to come around more often than the hero ones.
IM40 yellow would also be a good choice if you're pairing him with someone who uses green or could use a tank.
Punisher is useful as-is, unless you have the urge to max out a 3*. You'll eventually get a cover for him to help you there, though, so I would resist buying one unless you play him regularly and feel like he's almost amazing but not quite there.
I just cant use sentry, even when I have to. Human Torch, Flame jet, I save up all those greens & it kills the enemy team by itself. I cant even use the yellow sacrifice, I'll use Ares Sunder first. At least that gets health back. Sentry is so...ugh....Like he couldve been more useful had they done X.
I have come to the conclusion that the healing changes weren't really aimed at OBW, per se, they were aimed at Sentry. Before the healing change, he was the beast that shot you up the ranks quickly at the top tier of play - and as long as you could mitigate the damage with a healing option, he's crazy powerful. Now if you want to use him that way you need to buy health packs, the ultimate goal of the change.
I mean, if he didn't damage himself or his team, his powerset is crazy. He's the top character I skip now in PvP - I'll deal with a Patch, LThor, LDaken team before anything with a maxed Sentry.
