Yep I was playing some gold while redownloading the client. Forgot I was in game chat and not party chat, the two randoms were not amused by the bashing. At least they listened though, and went down less.

Hmmm need a way to spice up the mp, getting a little bored. I changed to about 4 or 5 different set ups and chars but always come back to my dps geth infiltrator. Although I have been ripping it lately with a salerian infiltrator and the viper sniper rifle (semi auto) that thing kills if you do solid dps build.

Motivation to open to packs is falling since have most of the chars....now it's like I am playing just to finally get a gun upgrade to the mattlock.

Maybe they should add different objects for future dlc?

there's a lot of things that would improve the MP experience. Perhaps the only thing that keeps me interested is unlocking wpn cards...I'm pretty sure once I've X'd a lot of ones I really want I'll start to lose interest in the game no matter how proud and beautiful the batarians may be.

gold for credits, silver to test new strategies, bronze because it's funny to cut an atlas in half with a raptor.

so long as they continue to do weekly events, that should keep ppl interested at least on the weekends. hopefully new maps, class/race combos and wpns will soon follow. PC owners are already getting a new sniper rifle simply by registering with alienware.

Boss fights or even event battle would be nice. Dodging a reaper arm or thressermaw would be interesting. There's a lot of SP event type missions, holding off a wave of reapers would be fine while an asari is holding off a biotic sphere etc. just more creative objective type missions so should you fail it's not a lame excuse to end the match.

Play Quarian melee only. Against Reapers.

I'd love new objectives. Think a survival mode that granted more money or something might be neat too.

yeah, switching the normal loadouts and strategies makes it a lot of fun. going from sniper rifle to shotgun for the infiltrator has been great. sadly, while the claymore VIII has been incredible, the geth p. shotgun even at II has been showing better results just due to accuracy. (not sure how much that 5% is doing for the geth bonus but it seems to be working)

human soldiers, batarians, get an additional melee bonus, I think sentinals get a melee bonus too when their tech armor is up. why not slap some reapers around...of course it helps that the squad is aware that you're going in with a baseball bat.
 
Got muh Mass Effeck figures preordered. Thane and Grunt are lonely on my desk. Ordered Mordin, Legion, Garrus, and Tali. Screw Miranda and Shep, they look awful.

Wow, that Garrus figure is impressive!

The others are... less so. Shepard looks a bit off, but Ashley may as well be a different character. I guess it's harder to sculpt a recognizable human face than an alien one.

by accident. my friend ended up laughing about it for weeks. never have i reloaded a decision at any point in the series and that was the only time i ever really wanted to. should have let her die in 2.

I obviously sided with the Geth. Tali did her little dive, and I thought for one second about reloading and trying to get a different outcome. Then I saw a fucking Prime walk up to me like "Sup, need help?" and I forgot that the space gypsies ever even existed.


Also, in regards to the figures. Playarts Kai tends to put out some pretty great shit. I've got their Adam Jensen and Big Boss at home, as well as a bunch of others that I can't even remember right now (because I have a problem with buying fucking toys.) Weirdly enough I like Ash, but I think it's because--like Ryuu said--it looks nothing like her. I'd just regard her as Random Space Babe and set her up next to sexy Catwoman and Supergirl.

Still mad at there being NO FEMSHEP TOYS.

I sided with X, and Y did her thing. I felt bad...then 2nd PT, I sided with X ironically again...but had enough Rep for Y to not do her thing, and ended up with Z. Everyone wins...except gotdott.

Dark horse IS working on a reaper statue/model/toy like the Normandy. Saw a pic from Sdcc or some show earlier this year. I love Garrus so I may have to pick up that play arts figure.

I remain VERY cautiously optimistic. Reason? Dark Horse is the same one that messed up on the paint job for the Cerberus/Alliance Normandy SR-2. And the build quality. And the size. So...yeah. Also, this is a "showpiece" version which means it will be the best and most likely, not very indicative of what the actual product will be like.

If it turns out good, hey, I was wrong and we all win. If it turns out like their previous Mass Effect efforts, then I certainly won't be disappointed.

yep same here, i own all of the other ones and found leaving them sealed makes me see their perfect paintjobs through my denial glasses of what truly lives within... but i am totally getin one anyways... i wish it came with the "honk" sound you could push.. i would totally go Harbinger on my cat in the morning to keep him from trying to weave between my feet and kill me by tripping me down the stairs.
 
One of the most memorable encounters in all of ME2 was in Grunt's recruitment mission when two guys pop around a corner when you're going down a ramp and there's no cover around for anyone.
 
The spoiler tagged one is awesome.

Just getting it out there: The VA for Male Shepard sucks. I don't know where they got him, but he's really stilted at some points. One point also pisses me off in general about Mass Effect's dialog is that once something is said, it keeps being mentioned, instead of being referred to as 'it' or 'they' or etc. It's always been kind of annoying to me.

Oh and as a for my Paramour Scene
it was nice I guess. A lot better than the ones for ME1 and ME2, that's for sure.
Oh, and something about the ending again
I left with 2 mates, why is everyone on the Surface with me now? Now I'm dead, and they're in the Normandy again. WHAT?

I thought Meer was much improved in ME3. He's gotten better and less stiff each game.

I actually kind of preferred Meer to Hale in 3 honestly. Hale did this low, breathy thing on a lot of Renegade lines that got pretty annoying. Meer hit a home run though I'd say.
 
I have actually preferred Meer for two reasons: 1) He's not well-known (BioWare decided to give an unknown a chance and that deserves major props) and 2) he's better at the comedic moments than Hale is because he seems to know when to "deadpan" and when something requires greater gravitas.

While I definitely agree that ME3 is Meer's strongest performance yet, he still doesn't do it for me. I also agree that Hale has some weird moments in this one too.

It was fun to find out that Steve "I'm in literally fucking everything" Blum voiced my one of my favorite Krogans though.

I agree. Being one of the few people that don't care for Femshep, I've always been a fan of Meer's Maleshep voice. And, I do dig Bioware for giving unknowns and locals a shot, like they did with Meer and Faunts for the end credits songs in ME1 and ME3 (great band, btw, pick up their albums).

This. And maybe it's just me, but I don't think it's the first time either regarding their serves in general. For ME, it seems I get disconnected every other game. And while not as bad, EA would always claim I got disconnected when playing NFS: Hot Pursuit as well.

Meer is light years ahead of Jennifer Hale in the VO category, and has been since Day 1. On top of being dramatically overrated, I'd argue that her "role" as "femShep" in these games is her worst to date.
 
Just gonna have to agree to disagree on this one. I personally don't think I've ever heard anyone speak with less inflection than Meer in my life, but I'll never slight anyone for preferring him. Hale is far from untouchable, herself.

The worst Hale role I've encountered is Nalia De'Arnise, though I'm admittedly very biased on that point because that's not how you French grammar, you fucking Albertans.
 
I completely forgot there was even a FemShep option - just so used to running the Male Shep with my custom appearance. It freaks me the fuck out when I see videos with that beady-eyed a-hole looking "standard" Shep though. Takes me right out of the game since I'm so used to my own one - I should see if I can get a pic of him.
