Mass Effect 3 Discussion Thread
Since I didn't end up with a dead Wrex or dead crewmembers from ME2, I do wonder what they'd do if they'd do in that case. I can't see Wreav filling in for Wrex, so maybe he's just KIA in Citadel?

Needed one of them to set off the bomb, so they switched out places in the airlock depending on the playthrough?
I woulda just nuked the bomb from space. C'mon Jeff, what are you even doing up there?

Chambers >Traynor. Cuz my wife's name is Kelly and they look a little alik with the short hair. :)

I seriously can't get over this trailer and can't wait to watch at home on a bigger screen without loading hiccups. But who can be so badass to require the cavalry being called in? I hope there is something meaningful to the story instead of just a cheap way to get everyone together. I won't hesitate to put down my 1200 points to find out!

Also, you can fight the Collectors in the combat arena.

Wrex is dead in my save that I'm going to be playing this with first (
sided with the Salarian councilor
), so I'll let you guys know.

Kelly or Samantha? How about both. Or how about Kelly's red hair with Samantha's accent. :)

Looks good. The Normandy shooting on the hover car was a pretty cool scene. Except...I doubt Shepard would blatantly fire the Normandy's weapons inside the Citadel. Which means the Normandy was...hi-jacked? Pretty sure that's fairly impossible, what with EDI and all.

Ah well, looking good. Starting to wish the sound effects were up to par, but if this DLC is good, it'll be nit-picking. And better than LotSB, Chubbs? I doubt it, but like you said, if it's half as good, that's good enough.

Something interesting about the trailer. That was Kolyat, but who was the salarian in white in that camera pan?

Also, I'd go with Chambers for one major reason: Prejek Paddlefish! And then having the Hanar pay for 10% weapon or power damage, just so they can eat...er, "save", the endangered fish. Big, stupid jellyfishes.

Yeah, just watched it on my TV in 720P with 5.1 surround sound, swoon!

Ok, ok. I'm sold. I'm excited.

Damn me.

Also, if we can have an Omni-Blade battle (like a sword fight), that would be cool too.

Yeah I believe my main main playthrough is romanced with Jack. I thought she grew on me a lot over from ME2 to ME3. That and Liara might have swept me with the DLC lol I can't remember what I did.

Yea, Jack became a much better character from ME2 to ME3. I was somewhat surprised by that.

Also, I see Shepard holding an M-11 Suppressor in the trailer. Might we also see the M-7 Lancer?

I noticed that sword fight the 2nd time I watched. That's pure badass!

Enemies were using geth spitfires.
I wanted to hear more adventures of the Shepard.
Yeah and less of that awkward kid talking to his grandfather part though. That really turned me off at the end, was like Peter Jackson not ending the original LoTR movies when you thought it was going to end.
Seeing "On one last adventure" in the trailer is really, really bittersweet.
All Good Things Must Come to an End.

Also, if you were a true fan of LotR, you KNEW the movie wouldn't end until Sam says, "Well, I'm back." Because that's the only way it could end.

But yes, the whole Stargazer part was quite creepy. As was the dialogue between the two. Buzz Aldrin came off as really creepy. And pervy.

Yeah was kind of wondering why they didn't have this front in center on the games section, found part 1 with the new releases on Add-Ons but no Part 2. Found Part 2 through searching citadel with bing search. Today's gonna suck at work.

Everything's all set for when I get out of work lol, I can't wait!

Got both parts in my queue and my wife is gonna turn on the system this morning so it can download while I'm at work. GOD BLESS TECHNOLOGY!

This is going to be a looong work day. And then I have to wait until the kids go to bed. But my wife told me I could have free rein on the television all night. She understands that this is Mass Effect. :D

God, tell me about it. Wait's gonna kill me. I have to wait for the fiancee to wander off too, but only because I don't want to spoil it for her.

Lol I need a wife.

Fare ye well, X! The first of the CAG ME faithful to have at this last bit of new content. It really is bittersweet, isnt it? At least we know that there IS a ME4 coming in some form at some point.

played citadel for a bit, man I wish the geth spitfire was anywhere close to what it does in single player

the shep apartment is pretty cozy

Baby step to 7 o'clock, baby step to 7 o'clock...

Grabbed the DLC early this morning, but I'm not going to be able to play it until later tonight. I've got a test to study for, too. I hope I get to play tonight. Thanks for nothing, BioWare!

Oh, and just a reminder, use spoiler tags for the new content!

Anyone seen the scene from Family Guy where Louis looses Peter, I believe they think he's dead, and after being asked if she wants to go out by Quagmire, Quagmire breaks the clock and manually moves the hands around then asks how about now!? Lol, that's how I feel. Come on, come on.

That operation sounds awesome! Any word if his is the last weekend operation? The write up seems pretty final to me, but yet it teases that there will be additional contact at some point.
Let's not toss that around lightly.
I WHOLLY AGREE.

And for the record, I HATE early reports. I'd rather have final reports. And first hand experience.

The motley crew that hangs out in here and their opinions on all things ME3. ;)
Final report:

Best. DLC. Ever.

Why can't this be one of the options for the ending? This is exactly what I wanted all along.
Told ya!

Does sound final but I gotta get my three packs. Shouldn't be too bad.
I've only just started (first achievement), but it is awesome so far. Lots of variety!
And the beginnings of two.

To be fair, I bit and already bought it long before the endorsements came in, so, I'm kind of stuck regardless.

But, it's reassuring to hear from my fellow CAGers that it's good :D
