a free pack is a free pack. if it had 3 rockets, 5 packs of armor piercing ammo, and a medi gel I'd be happy over not getting anything at all. if it's a random uncommon, rare + etc it's just icing.

i'm down for some phantom rain if you need a 4th. playing with those 3...really bad french guys was the worst ME3 MP experience ever.
 
I'll be on tonight as I have my Galactic Readiness at 98-99% and it should only take a game or two to get the Defender achievement... Then I'll probably go back and focus on the single player for a while, until I'm at the end and I need to crank up the Readiness again for Master and Commander.

Yeah, it'll just depend on how many War Assets I have when I get to that point.

I've been using the Datapad iPad app to increase readiness, but yesterday it started asking my to re-enter my email address and password every time I start it up. Anyone else having this problem?

Yeah, holy cow. I guess it's better than just having nothing at all to spend my credits on, but geez, I'm not still going to be using this app in 2017.

I wish you could import your credits into the main game, how sweet would that be. Black Widows and Paladins (and lots of speculation) for everybody!

Hah. I seriously don't see the point as it's impossible to not have maxed out the readiness by the time you get to that point with the app, and I don't think readiness from the datapad app or infiltrator game goes away. Only the MP readiness does. So there's no practical reason to reach the 500k upgrade. And there's 2 more bars after it! :O

Oh sure, I'm just saying that because on the Bioware forums people are expecting one night stands with Elcorian strippers thrown in. Okay maybe that's not the best image..

And yea I would have asked you to play yesterday but apparently we were running someone else's friend through gold when I had just got on.
 
Hey gotdott. If you're down to play sometime this week, could you shoot me your gamertag? I'm all for seeing if I can handle gold with some good players.

Haha, I'll do my best. One of my coworkers yells at me for being too big when I play my Krogan.

I've got a lv. 20 Drell Adept, Salarian Engie, and Krogan Sentinel so far. They seem to carry their weight, but I guess we'll see!

My War Assets/Strength is 7,500ish and my Galactic Readiness is 100%.

Truth. When I played, my high level adept did contribute, but they could have done without me.
 
I'd honestly love to know how you guys are screwing up the page while quoting so I can avoid doing it. >_>

Unrelated note: RE:ORC isn't as bad as I expected. Not a great game nor worth a full $60, but a fairly decent thus far. More of an acquired pick up and play taste type of game than anything else. A rather boring experience awaits outside of co-op though and I still haven't tried multiplayer yet. Lack of a mapped button for taking cover however should be inexcusable for shooters at this point. Very annoying. Same with the lack of a proper roll and infinite sprint for all third person shooters. The flow of the game play suffers greatly for it IMO. For a game that doesn't exactly seem heavy on the narrative or character development it's a pretty big deal.

Nonsense, everyone's contribution is important. Unless your contribution is to eat some Cerberus ammo and lie down to take a nap halfway across the map.

Dude... have you taken a look at the leaderboards lately? They only way anyone would have a ghost of a chance of making the top 20 is if they either ate, slept and breathe this game or abused an exploit with a full team daily on top of promotions. Rather disturbing indeed.

i dont look at the leaderboards because it's a lie...i don't fall into the professional gamer catagory, so it doesn't apply to me. someone's gotta pay the bills in dis house. I'll stop the bad mens in my spare time.

maybe they share an xbox, my friend's son and husband both play on the same account...though one plays all the FPS the other plays all sports and driving. Still, i guess this is how they win in life.

Victory packs are up. BW said that the commendation packs will take a little longer for to be fully distributed. Probably everyone will have their pack by midnight-9PM PST.

Premium Veteran Packs are now also available for purchase. 33,000 credits for at least 2 uncommons and increased chance of a rare unlock.
 
Oh dear lord... after one game of MP with terrible 100+ N7 randoms it's back to ORC for me. Christ. Oh, and in case anyone is wondering my Victory Pack sucked ass as predicted.

(sighs) so for 3k more credits you can get better stuff? lol...trying to make players who have a hard time grinding for packs easier aye? they'll shorten the life of MP. Once ppl unlock everything and X their wpns and mods they'll play something else. silly developers...

Lucky, I played every day of the week for the whole time trying to win and got nothing >_<

And my victory pack was crap too. Still haven't got the other one yet.

So wait... hold up... the commendation packs that we were supposed to be awarded for completing a Silver Reaper wave are the PVPs? Any clarification on this would be golden because before I switched games I still didn't receive my damn commendation pack.

Nevermind. I'll just pop it back in real quick and check myself.
 
Ugh... I got the Eagle. Bad ass description with decent power, but I loathe the recoil and the last thing I need is a mediocre heavy pistol. Once you've gone Carnifex you wont want anything else. I'm also going on equipment strike with randoms. They never use medi-gel or missles even to save their clan boyfriends! It's truly pathetic. Besides... if nearly half the team can't make past the third, fourth, or fifth wave without requiring a pick up then they don't deserve a half decent effort from me. Credits aren't worth the trouble.

I got the Falcon, trying to get used to it lol.

Also got the Eagle. You gotta aim low and in the middle. Aim for the gut or chest and pop pop pop head shot. Although it does help if your enemy is standing still, reave away!

Finally decided to buy a Spectre Pack with my hard earned credits and unlocked the Krogan Sentinel!

I finished the single player tonight.

I have to say while disappointed that I didn't get the sort of happy ending one would expect from a series of a kind like this, I'm really not angry about it.

I guess it's all about your expectations of the ending before playing it. Because I had a feeling about the ending that there would be things similar to what was mentioned in it, maybe I wasn't as enraged or disappointed as some people apparently are.
 
Opened my two packs.
Black Widow II and N7 Crusader.

Crusader has some serious punching power, goes right through people.
If it wasn't for the the weight, might think about using it some more.

Not going to replace my M-99 Saber anytime soon, thats for sure.
 
got the eagle - not impressed but probably because I tote a carnifex as my sole weapon 99.9% of the time. The weight on the eagle is great but that recoil is a bitch. I think with the right character and mods it could be decent though. My nephew got the shotty and it seems pretty nice. He pretty much is geth shotty or carnifex. Wonder if that's what determined the weapon we got - what we carry the most?

because it did the exact same thing.
 
Valiant is great on bronze and silver, starts to lose it's effectiveness in gold without a team combo. The other pack gave me the vindicator and some other ca ca.

...60 rounds though is quite beefy.
