Masturbating in the public library... to... nothing... sports scores?

Not that the guy had much of a chance to begin with but that guy caught masturbating will never have a date with a woman ever again. He could move of course but then he'd have to convince his parents to move.

I like how meek he was during the interview... then when his dad appeared, and was bold and "in-yo'-face" on the journalist, he finally began to speak up.

"Get off my property."

Yeah. But you masturbated in the library, kid.

I loved how he reacted to the first question. "What do you look up on the internet at the library?" *long pause* "Nothing..........sports...scores?"

Dude, when I was volunteering for my local library for a scholarship (that I got eventually), this kid got caught for looking at a porn site. The computer patron caught him and had him kicked. The kid had a WTF what do I look on his face.

Another time, this homeless guy was looking at (child?) porn and got caught. The officer took him back into his office in the back, where people can't enter. Only employees and volunteers can enter that place. I passed by that place and heard a few questions. The only one I can remember is:

Cop: "So can you give me your address"
Homeless Guy: "Uhh...I don't have one"

XD at the sausage fest comment.

That guys face so gave it away. You can tell in his head he's like "what? huh? me? prOn? NAAAAAAAA! Me? Naa man, I check sports stuff."

LMFAO @ the blatant lesbian "...OMGZ, thats HORRIBLE! ::is really happy because someone asked her for her opinion::"

Yeah, Carl Monday is hilariously obnoxious, but that's a great story.

My favorite was when he chased down a professor on my college campus until the guy slammed the door to one of the buildings in his face.

Gave the thread a better title.

I actually liked that reporter. Local news stations need more investigative reporters like that.

I roared every time her referred to masturbation as "having sex", though.

 Great video

Although I'm glad you changed the title. When I first clicked the link I expected like, a water park in the library

I'll watch the video later since my work computer has no speakers.

I used to work for one of the county librarys as a public technology assistant in Maryland. There were about 3-4 homeless people using the computer/internet. One used eBay to buy/sell baseball cards, two of them played flash based games on yahoo, and the fourth one sent email to anyone she could get an email address from. Our fifth homeless guy would talk to himself in the corner and sleep.

I never really had a problem with kids looking at porn on the net. It was mostly men between 45-70. We had this one guy that would always come in right before close and use adult friend finder. This guy was always hard to catch cause we were not allowed to stand behind the publics back and watch there every move. Instead we had to act like we were putting books back or cleaning up an area. We did have a guy that we caught masturbating in the history section of the library.

I saw some strange people while working at the library and the best/funniest thing I ever saw was a mail order bride. You always hear about it but you never see it. This one guy would come in every 2-3 days with a brief case full of print outs from this website called bride.ru. After almost a year, one day he came in with this really good looking girl. She was 21 and from Russia and the guy is border line white trash. They did find a job for her at the library and they are married now. I see them every once and a while when I visit my old co-workers.

stuff like that is always a problem. homeless and people with mental disorders do some strange things at libraries.

one time at my joint university library with the city, a guy with mental disorders plopped down at the desk next to me, started looking at pictures of women's legs on the computer screen, and massaged himself. WTF!

I got up promptly, told the library assistant, and got myself outta there!

Libraries need to exercise the use of filters!!!

After my fiancee worked for about a year as a librarian, I learned that they really have little control over what people are doing. They can't censor them within the library, so unless library filters (which are limited in themselves due to free speech issues) catch something, they can't stop you from looking at it.

The end of the video is pretty funny. Thanks to the great invention of the internet, now everybody know who's the kid and his parents are.
I like the white trash dad:

"I'm a goddamn vet! *punches window*
He thinks the world owes him something.

Was that at LeRoy Collins in Tallahassee?

 hilarious news story, btw. Though the reporter was an asshole, I loved the nonchalantness of the guy who he was interviewing.

Yes it was and it happaned on a Sunday.

A fun test anyone can do:

Any time you have to use a public computer, look up under the desk. I'd say there's a 70% you'll see semen spatters.

My friend's family computer desk, although it was only him, had so much that he recreated the universe's constellations.

In other words, don't touch the underside of the desk. Men are savages.

Its amazing how something like the library can become a dangerous & disgusting place. Probably why I haven't been in a 8+ years. Thanks to the great world of the internet *hugs google*

A 20 year old something unemployed living at home and jacking it in the library. God bless Ohio the shittiest state on earth. I have high hopes for that kids future.

This comes across odd to me, the local library here, built in the last year with new equipment actually has a station setup that shows the active screens on all the computers that patrons can use. In seconds they can know if someone is looking at porn, and they have a sign that blatantly says, "Stations are monitored". A large cost but my buddy showed me the whole layout and I fully approve, I mean its a public building, public machines, no privacy period. If you want porn watch it at home.

I was thinking about that actually. The only thing was I was thinking of using some kind of big monitor facing out that shows whatever someone is posting. I mean they can't block the porn so why not shame people into not looking at it? I mean the Supreme Court has said they can't restrict what is looked at but they haven't said anything about that being private...

Yeah it should be a big screen put out there but I still reccomend the smaller screen at the helpdesk station where someone can constantly check them all at once at the very least!

Hmm, now that I think of it more, perhaps a big screen is a bad idea. A few really fucked up people will surf it anyway and children might see it. Instead they should have a very brightly lit sign that says "Looking at Porn" that lights up when someone is on a porn site.

yea but that could backfire and have every guy come to that station.

Saw this on the Daily Show the other night and needed to post it here:

The search function couldn't find this thread worth a damn. I luckily remembered that Brak posted it and searched through his threads.

That sick dude! I can't imagine going to the library, sitting down on a pile of jizz. That kid deserved the bad publicity....
