At this point I am just waiting to go in and be banned. I do so many flips of their sale games and used to always take advantage of the 3 copies per platform rule. This month alone I did $566 worth of trade ins. I'm cool with the employees at both stores I do trade ins at, and I'm a silver member so I'm hoping that prevents it, but I doubt that has any part in it.

Spotted a couple of them at best buy in Woodland, CA. So they are out there.
 
I find it ironic that BF3 was brand new for $19.99, and this month they're pushing the used copy for $40. People will still complain that overpaid, lol.

Yeah I think that's a pretty harsh reminder that BB still doesn't really have the hang of organizing these deals properly yet.

Overall this is the worst month I've seen in a while :cry: Looks like we won't be getting Darkness 2 on sale before the coupon expires either.
 
Probably a silly question, but would the $10 off a used game coupon stack with the $15 off Battlefield 3 (and 10% off for Gamer Unlocked)? Completely missed the DOTD yesterday...

Offers in a print mag get locked farther out than a Deal of the Day like BF3 new that happened yesterday. Those can be pulled off at just about any time.

If you don't care about the online portion of Darkness 2, you can easily finish it in a rental. I played it for nine hours straight. It was quite entertaining as well. I'm a huge fan of the first one. Just a heads up man.

Lol, i second this. Suddenly it's 40 bucks. What a shift! The LE: BF3 hasn't ever really had a good sale lately either. If NG was somewhere around 20 bucks then i'd probably jump on that, the rest of the games for this month coupons are god awful though. :x
 
If you are close to a closing store the Rocketfish PS3 Premium Bluetooth Mono Headset should be about 41.99 now and maybe that price on the 5/6, with the coupon it could be 1.99

Was just about to pick up my B2G1 games and realized the coupons wont be good til 5/6. They worked early last month though. Just don't wanna take the chance this time.

Are you referring to a B2G1 coupon? Coupons don't stack, so you don't have to worry about when the May coupons go live.

I have been getting my monthly issues the 1st Wednesday of every month. Should get my May issue tomorrow, so you still have a chance of getting the May issue.
 
Has anyone that subscribed to the digital edition of the magazine received their coupons yet? I switched me subscription last month and was curious how long it takes until they email them out to you. Any help would be appreciated.

No to the $40 coupon, but yes we have gotten something technically free before. GoW3 had a coupon for $20 off GoW triple pack if you preordered GoW3. The very last week they put GoW triple pack on sale for $20 making it free with preorder.


Needless to say it was a MASSIVE pain, because it was still had the old wording on the back of the coupon that said "taken from original price" and "does not work with sales". Which every manager pointed to when you tried. It also didnt auto deduct so it had to be overridden. You basically had to battle the manager showing forum mod posts, calling corporate (which BTW had no clue on what was happening) etc etc.

But yes I am wanting a free, but more likely a $5 game. Would deal with another $10 though.
 
A $40 coupon just seems "fake" -- not saying it isn't what the coupon will be for, just that I think that may cause issues with clerks, especially if it goes on sale for 50 or 45 bucks.

I didn't even go to BB one time in April. I probably had 100 copies of the March magazine in my car and then I didn't go 1 time with the next month's coupon.
 
Ugh, as soon as I subscribe (for a truly epic March set of coupons, even NOT exploiting arkham city), the deals go to meh. Homefront for $1.26 is alright, even if it is missing the online pass, but nothing this month interests me. Ah well.
 
I just got my magazine in the mail. Will the $20 off coupon for the flash drive work if its on sale for $19.99? I know Best Buy wont let you use reward certificates if the total amount is lower than the coupons value.

I've been told that I couldn't get something for free. Never actually tried it, but have had them tell that to me.

I'm sure there are others here with actual experience with that situation.

You can try and see what happens. Maybe the coupons are active early again. But of course YMMV.

Meh, getting AC for $10 and FFXIII-2 for $15 paid for it's membership already, I'm sure there will be better deals later in the year, they can't have insane deals like that every month.
 
I got mine today, so I tried the $20 off the 8gb xbox flash drive. It's a no go. I believe they finally started restricting the ability to use them early.

so i signed up last month in store to receive the magazine. turns out i did the digital version but i don't particularly care because i mostly wanted the coupons.

i get home today to find a letter from @gamer with the coupons inside. the faq says that it is supposed to be in an email, has this happened to anybody else?

Last month they mailed the coupons out. I haven't received anything via email or mail for May (yet).

Meh, got the better deal on BF3 for $19.99 new during Monday's sale. Already own AC:R, and the others don't appeal to me.
 
I got signed up for the digital version, and switched to the print subscription...today in the mail I got both the magazine and the envelope that gets sent to the digital subscribers.

I would be happier if the coupons were better this month. I do hope this little glitch continues.

Got my mag today as well. Im going to trade in my copy of ass creed revelations to gs to out some credit there and then buy it back using the coupon. I know they will put it on sale for 24-29.99 again. Trading it in at bestbuy is useless as the base value is 6$
