McD's monopoly starts soon
I have a question... does this online game board save? I would hate for it to disapear when I click the "x" in the browser.
It saves itself.

weak... I got two of my envelopes today and bot hthe bottoms of my envelopes were fucking slit open. It was like the processing dept. cut them when opening my SASEs... one envelope was taped shut, the other had jack shit... so pissed. Only 48 more to MAYBE get here if taped up.... sigh.
Just used online store pickup and got Okami and Bully for $17.83. :D:D:D:D:D:D::D:D
have you tried using them in the store?

Damn McDonalds and all you SASE people. I bought a Chicken Selects today and there was no monopoly pieces / BBB. I asked the manager and he said they ran out, there was a nationwide shortage, and they were not expecting another shipment of them. The game is over at my local McD's :(

Been like this for about a week now around here. I live about 1 mile away from Mcdonalds coporate offices and the McD's here do not even have any Monopoly pieces left....makes me pissed too.

OK, this process might have just become a lot less worth it for me.

I tried to buy Clubhouse Games for DS today using the $5 off GGC coupon and paying the rest in BBBux. No go! The computer wouldn't take it. Evidentally both try to take the $ off of the base price of the item. Has anyone else tried using both?

If this is true, then my one saving grace is that I'm beating the odds significantly on the game pieces I've gotten back so far:

59 out of 100 received

48 $1
11 $5

10 Breakfast sandwich
2 Breakfast Value Meal
2 Small McFlurry
3 Medium Fries
7 Small drink/coffee

I'm sure that the McDs that my room mate works at will be out by the end of the week if not much much sooner. I all ready have 32 of them. If hes not able to yank enough more for a 12 month live kit, I'll shell out the rest on my credit card when it rolls over this thursday...

I'm not clear on something. The Monopoly pieces and the best buy pieces are different pieces, right? And they appear on different things? So if I'm only after BB bucks and I dont care about pieces, what are the items that I'm looking for.

They're on the expensive Chicken Sandwhiches(the ones that are $3 or $4 not the $1 spicy chicken) and the chicken strips(not the nuggets.) But you might want to ask them if they have any left before you buy them.

I know. I've been hitting about 1 in 6 (instead of 12) so I know I shouldn't complain. But I was planning on picking up all my Wii accessories using GGCs and BBBs... meaning mostly $20-$40 items which should have been only $15-$35. If they can't be combined, those extra $5 BBB really just put me back where I already expected to be.

It took long enough!

I've finally started to receive my SASEs back.

So far....

9 out of 100 SASEs have been returned to me.

Out of the litter,

9 $1.00 BBBs

0 $5.00 BBBs

0 Food items

Well, at least I'm expecting 91 more envelopes, hopefully soon. Strange about the envelopes though; they were all postmarked 10/18/06 from Cleveland, Ohio and I just received them yesterday, 10/21/06. So about a three day mail delivery time. Not too bad, but I'm just curious about how they send out the SASEs. Do they wait until a batch collects, then send out all the letters in one shot? Or do they send them out on a daily basis? I'm assuming they received all of my requests by 10/10/06 since I sent them out on 10/7/06, so perhaps they were backlogged by so many of the other thousands (maybe millions) of requests? I'm crossing my fingers here.

I hope I get back all of the other 91 with BBBs in them.

I just thought of something. Do they limit the amount of BBB you can use in the store? I know they limit it to 40 online. I hope they don't because I badly want to get a 12 month kit for Live...I so don't want to have to shell out 20 extra on my credit card for it
The limit in store is $200 per day
I know that much, just was wondering if they limit as to how many you can use per day
This is my first time doing this so I dunno': is there an expiration date on the Best Buy Bucks?
12/02/06 Is when they expire. You can only get pieces until oct 31 or until they run out of pieces though.

The BBB won't take the $ off automatically when scanned. They will have to deduce it manually. If the total after the BBB falls under $19.99, the GGC may not work correctly. Was that your case?

If not, perhaps the system would not take the GGC discount if the price of the game has already been overwritten.
Do you think it is too late to send SASE in?
depends on how many you want to send in . 20 i say go for it. 100 to 200 i say way too late. Dont risk more then you can afford to lose since the game ends next tuesday.

I got 9 more back today (making 109 of 110 return

Total made 155 bucks spent 90 in stamps made 155 BBB Profit of 65 bucks or 2 Free DS Games

you can not combine any coupons with BBB

i sent my last batch of 20 on the 21st hopefully they dont run out

only got 1 5 dollar one out of 25

but got 2 free breakfast sandwhiches
2 free pops or coffee's
2 free mcflurrys
and 1 med fry
Why don't we list what game pieces we have?
I need Ventnor Ave and Vermont Ave. :)
Ok, sounds Great. All I need is Short Line, Boardwalk, and free breakfast sandwich.:D

Wow. The USPS sure did a hell of a job stuffing my mailbox with 90 of my SASEs. :)

So out of the tally, I've got 99 of the 100 I sent in on 10/7/06.

Here's the take:

91 x $1 BBB

8 x $5 BBB

total so far - $131 BBBs (not including the BBBs I've obtained from the actual food cartons)

11 x Soft Drink/Coffee

6 x Breakfast Sandwich

4 x Small McFlurry

3 x Med. Fries

1 x Breakfast Value Meal

and a whole lot of 'spare' pieces.

Oddly enough, I noticed that the "Reading Railroad" piece is quite rare. Out of the 300 Monopoly pieces I took apart, I only found 3 of them. I only managed to find 1 of them while actually getting it from one of the McDonald's cartons the past couple of weeks.

The most abundant pieces were "Pennsylvania Railroad", "B&O Railroad", "St. Charles Place", "New York Avenue" and "Connecticut Avenue". All of the remaining pieces (which are considered the 'common' pieces) even out amongst themselves.

I never did find a "Large meat sandwich" piece, so I'm guessing those are really uncommon as well.

Got back 31 of 50 SASE today.

Haven't started peeling yet, but I better get at least a couple $5 game pieces. So far I haven't come across and I'm 22 game pieces into it.

#3601 - Mediterranean Avenue
#3604 - Vermont Avenue
#3608 - Virginia Avenue
#3610 - Tennessee Avenue
#3612 - Kentucky Avenue
#3616 - Ventnor Avenue
#3620 - Pennsylvania Avenue

#3626 - Short Line

If anyone has any of those, they should send them to me right away :D :D

Also, if anyone feels like giving away any free food ones, I'd probably settle for that :p

Not that impressed but I suppose I can't complain:

14/25 (first batch, hoping the second 25 will come back but I doubt it)

$5 - 5x
$1 9x

Food pieces:

Breakfast Sandwich - 3x
Small Mcflurry - 1x
Medium Fry - 1x

I was hoping for more food pieces lol!

But yeah I guess I'll just stop whining here since it seems many others aren't sharing my good luck.

What are the odds anyway? (I'm too lazy to find them in the huge listing of rules)

When I tried the other day, they did the GGC first which dropped it from $25 to $20... then they tried to do the manual adjustment for $3 worth of BBB and the price went to $22.

Went back today to try again. Different cashier, different game, same result. The GGC discounts from the base price of the game and so does the BBB.
can you use BBB on systems?
you really cant buy systems with BBB but i never tried. I know last year the 3 buck codes worked on systems while the 1 buck codes didnt. Didnt try it this year cause there is nothing that i want System wise

never thought about trying it. Should of sent away more request. hell got 200 knocked off a XBOX 360 would of rocked : (
can you use BBB on systems?
Yes you can. When I got something a couple of weeks back the cashier told me that a guy had bought a new PS2 the day before with nothing but BBB...
Got 10 back today:

$5 - 3x
$1 - 7x

Free food items:

Small drink
Small Mcflurry
Breakfast Sandwich
Medium Fries
what the fuck?!?!?!?!?! You are just rolling in the fucking $5 BBBs

Totally, I opened 75 game pieces and only got one flippin $5 BBB.

I don't think I'll be sending in SASE again in the future for McD Monopoly unless the odds get better on BBB. I doubt that will happen, if they even do it again ever.
