You send in a SASE ($ .39), but you also have to mail that SASE (+ $ .39).

So you spend at least $ .78 to receive a $1 off BB coupon (not likely to get the $5 one).

So really, all of this work is worth $ .22 of savings, plus all the free food (which generally defeats the purpose of using this method since you'll end up eating there a ton to use the free coupons!!!)

Seriously, unless you work in the post office and are swiping the stamps (or from Mommy?:roll:), this SASE deal sounds like a waste of time. An illusory savings for those willing to BELIEVE!!

send in 100 you spend 79 bucks to make at least 100 bucks. Ummm yea a free 21 bucks isnt worth it . and if you get the AVG you get 132 bucks SO i guess 52 bucks isnt worth sending in

1. How long do you have to use the best buy bucks?

2. How long do you have to use the free food coupons?

3. Is the best buy bucks limited, and excludes hardware? Id like to get a dsl or wii if possible.

i think DEc 3 on the BBB
i think NOV 14 on the food
and you cant use them on hardware (though i know there was a bug last year that allowed you to use the 3 buck coupons dont know about this year with the 5 bucks

thanks man, looks like Ill be using these to pay for twilight princess than. Also, if anyone would be interested in some food game pieces (assuming I get some when they come), let me know and you can have them... gf's sister is the manager of the local mc donalds so I can get free food anyways. Also, I hate mc donalds food with the exception of there take 5 mc flury.
 
I sent out 50 SASE's, spent $40, I received 27 back yesterday and already made my $40 back in BBB after getting 3 $5 BBB's. I got 23 more coming and all that is profit. I also got 12 free food items, and some free snapfish prints in the online game with 90 more chances to play. :lol: I think that is worth it and the turnaround was only 4 days to receive the first batch back.

The limit is $3 on a single CD/DVD. No limit on video games. Some items are excluded, the list can be seen in the rules earlier in this thread.
 
I just wish there was some way to get the SASEs there without paying double-postage for each one. Like... dropping off a bunch of them in their mailbox or something...

also i would be careful buying game systems with best buy bucks. If you buy the warrenty they could give you nothing back if the system breaks since the BBB cant not be refunded

whats YMMV mean? but i called my best buy store and the manger said they could but yeah i couldnt get refunded for the amount purchased with the best buy dollars.

what a manager says over the phone and what they do when you check out is two different things. I asked if the Price match and they said yes. when i took the CC ad in they said there was no way in hell they would match those prices

How does the game work with the game pieces in McDonalds. What do you do if you have a complete set? I have Illinois ave. and Indiana Ave. so I'm missing one so what do I have to do to get the 5000? It just seems too easy for me to believe.

good luck getting kentucky its the VERY RARE piece . Everyone has or will have Indiana and Iilliois. in fact i got 5 Indianas and 9 illinois

there is only 1 kentucky and your odds of getting it is like 1 in 4 million

For some reason I don't think thats how the game works this year, if you read the game correctly.........

It never states that if you collect these pieces you indeed win that item, rather it says you have a chance to win that prize, which really blows since I knew Mcdonalds had something up their sleeves.

But maybe I'm wrong, I mean hopefully I'm wrong :bomb:

Just sent off 50 SASE today. Hope I get them all back. I'm guessing it's still pretty early into the promotion so they can't be all out yet.
 
so how does the SASE work? how does the BB Bucks work? can i combine them or is there only limit to one BBBucks on one item? thanks
 
You can only use $3 on DVD's and CD's, everything else is fine but you can only use $200 in 1 day per store.

See page 3 with the rules for where to send the SASE to. You send the SASE to that address with you own address for the inner envelope (w/ return address) and get 1 BBB piece and 4 Monopoly pieces for each one
 
For the SASE, how much postage should be put on the inner envelope? And do the addresses have to handwritten on the envelopes for this to work?
 
Don't waste your money sending in any requests now. There's only half as many BestBuy Bucks available as last year according to the rules. People on Fatwallet/Slickdeals have been sending out requests for hundreds/thousands since last week already. You'll probably just recieve a copy of the rules in your SASE, and no game pieces, with the part that says "While supplies last" highlighted.
