Here is a thread just for us Michiganders to talk about the stores in our area that have good deals. Post any Mom & Pop Stores too so we can find the best deals. Walmart wayyy out at 23mile and M-53 (Van Dyke Freeway) has a bunch of the PSP 3000 core models for 139.99. They will probably continue to drop since the whole case is swamped with PSP go units
 
I found Rock Band 360 drums [$9.96] at Wal*Mart .

It was at the Dearborn/Detroit store on Ford Road .

There are 2 by themselves in the toy area, and 5 in the Electronics sections on the back wall .
 
The MicroCenter in Sterling Heights (by Oakland Mall) has GTA4 Special Edition for 24.99. Which is odd b/c the also sell the regular edition for 29.99. 4 in stock

Midland Best Buy had a couple of the collectors edition of Street Fighter 4 for $40 a little late for SF4 but somebody might want the extras.
 
I've heard that Demon's Souls has been popping up in Target clearance bins. Anyone see some in Michigan? That game was totally sadistic but for $15, I'd be willing to give it another chance.

I stopped by there today, they were at 30% off and pretty much cleared out of the good stuff already. All I saw was old ps2 and gamecube games really. They were all out of xbox cards and most systems too.

We're looking to open one in Midland or Clio are within the next several months also. I certainly try to pay more and sell for less than any of the corporate game stores... I'm not really out to make a ton of money, but rather trying to create a game store that I'd love to shop at. A lot of our vintage games are priced right at what you'd pay for them on ebay, but you get to check them out and everything always comes with a 60 day guarantee.

Yeah I was the one who posted the info in here. Great store, good trade in prices, good coupons, cheap used games (All the Old Socoms were 5 bucks) and it really gets no better than having the owner ring you up. You guys ever get those tournaments going? Sadly I graduated so Im not up in those parts any more
 
Looking for a target in the metro Detroit area that actually has clearance games... haven't found one yet that has any of the clearance prices..

I have a large number of Saturn software and hardware [controllers,joystick] that I may have to get rid of .
I want a fair price for it and I don't do Ebay .

Anyone find the Greatest Hits+Controller bundles around? Similar to the Uncharted one last year they brought out 3 more. Can only find on Amazon though :(

Oh, you're the guys in the Taylor Town Trade Center. I bought my Saturn from you.

If anyone is in the area, I recommend these guys. They've got a lot of good stuff at fair prices.
 
Not exactly a "deal", but very useful info nonetheless for many in this thread (unless you are Detroit-centric).

Gamestop is opening a Coldwater, MI location right off I-69. It's a not just a rumor, the big sign is up already on the front and a sign in the front window gives a 269 area code (Kzoo/Battle Creek) to call for those interested in applying.

Previously the closest location for that area would be Battle Creek (Lakeview Square Mall), Portage (Crossroads Mall, and like only 2 blocks away from there still on Westnedge), or Kendllville, IN. For some Jackson, MI was also still closer.

If this is still out of place, sorry. Just didn't know of a better place to put it and honestly, it's been 2 months since the last post in here.
 
Any good stores like these close to Battle Creek/Kalamazoo? That is where I currently live

Insane! I never thought I would read a reference of the Gamestops I shop at. Also, they opened a new Gamestop in BC like 1/4 mile from Lakeview Square.
