Mighty Muggs info thread:
Why? Because they are awesome

Target: 9.99 (not on website)

Toys R Us: 10.49 (http://www.toysrus.com/search/index.jsp?kwCatId=&kw=mighty%20muggs&origkw=Mighty%20muggs&f=Taxonomy/TRUS/2254197&sr=1) I have found them to have the biggest amount, and rarer ones of most of the stores

Wal-Mart: 9.98 (Not online?) Maybe some clearance ones?

So I lucked out and went back to the Meijers I went to the other day, and fortunately, Commander Cody and Jango Fett were still sitting there, so I snagged them. Now I need to figure out what I want to do with them, especially Cody (looks cool).
 
I went to TRU and after 15 mins of searching I finally stumbled across a Dr. Doom, The Thing, Doc Ock, Thor and Ghost Rider. I picked up none. I wanted Iron Man :(

Wow, the Thing. That is one of those that I have never seen before in stores, besides Iron Man and Venom and other rare ones.

Yea my TRU had 2. I wish they had more but those couple.
 
For those that are interested, there is are like 3 or so Jango's and 2 Cody's, as well as a few Lando's and Leia's at my local Wally World. I did pick a Jango and a Cody. I'm thinking of keeping them, but if anyone has a Grievous they'd like to trade, hit me up :D
 
THere are several of the Marvel MM's at the targets near me. I also saw an Iron Man at my Borders. I was really impressed with the Iron Man one.

I was contemplatign Painting one of these, has anyone here tried it. If so what has worked best? I just found this thread today, so sorry if this has been covered.
 
I'm borderline keeping Cody at this point, he's pretty cool looking. Jango, I may just try and trade for a Marvel Mugg that I don't have (only have Dr. Doom (now), Peter Parker/Spidey and Wolverine (on the way))

Im on the lookout for the thing, I saw him at Toys R us and was stupid enough to not pick him up. Man he is bright orange!
 
i did more searching today and picked up most of the ones i'd been missing... but the LAST one i need is cody. so all you guys looking to get rid of him, let me know what you're interested in (or a price) and i'll see what i can do.

how picky is everyone being about the paint on their muggs? i've passed on quite a few good ones after looking in the box and seeing that the figure looked terrible. then, another i've flat out exchanged after opening it up and finding something awful on the back. as it stands, i have 3 muggs with questionable scuff marks of some sort that have me a little irked, but that appears to be par for the course. am i being overly concerned?

Thanks. I think I'm gonna have to pick a MM up in a day or two or i will exlpode. This thread and some other stuff I've seen have got me excited.

I've passed on a few Spider-Man mighty muggs due to their shabby paint jobs. I often inspect the MMs and select the best one, so it's definitely not just you being overly concerned.

Also if anyone needs a Grievous (it might be scarce in your area) send me a PM, as I wouldn't mind shipping one out for any Marvel MM.
 
So I went and opened my Jango and Cody. I gotta say, they are more than a little awesome. These things really shine when they are out of the box. Now I need to track down Greivous, Obi Wan, and Windu. Then I'm on a break until the wave(s) with Anakin, Dooku, and Revan come out.

And I don't think I'm going to get into the Marvel ones like I originally thought. I've got the Thing, and the only other one that looks neat to me is Thor. However, If they happen to make the rest of the FF, I'd need to pick them up :D
 
Oh yeah, Thor is freaking awesome. If you see him, pick him up; you won't be disappointed. The hammer is pretty big, and the helmet (with hair) adds so much to the look. If you're having trouble finding Mace Windu, let me know. My local Walmart has several of them.

You'll probably love the next marvel wave. It's got Human Torch, Silver Surfer, and Galactus.

And the Thing is now OOS online. :wall:

Thing goes in and out of stock fairly frequently on Wal-Mart.com, so don't get your hopes up yet entirely. For some reason the Wal-Mart online store is like "the place" to find the Thing online for a reasonable cost new, but the hours in which he'll show up is pretty random and he goes fairly quick.

anakin and dooku are already out. i've got them myself, and see them at a ton of stores when i go out looking. so no breaks yet!

and really? thing is hard to find? seriously? i see him frequently. one walmart i was at yesterday had like seven of him... and only one hulk. the rarity of some of these figures has to be regional.
 
What other stores can I find MM's at? I've been to TRU, K Mart, and Walmart ( Walmart had none ). I'm really only looking for Marvel Muggs. I'm not a big Star Wars fan.

Target and Borders you can find them at as well.

The Wal-Mart by me has Obi-Wan, Maul and Greivous if you need me to pick one up for ya Ahadi.
 
So far for me, I've seen them at Meijier, K-Mart, WalMart, and Target. I even checked my local comic shop to see if they had any, but no dice. I'd check out TRU and Borders, as well as others, but none locally. I wonder if Books-A-Million would have any. Guess that will be the next place I check.
 
where does everyone find them at borders? i've been to 3 stores and they didn't have anything.

not that i particularly want to pay $20 (minus coupons) for a single mugg, but if that's what it takes to get my last one, then so be it.
 
Went on my weekly Sunday Mugg hunt, and got my Ghost Rider! Walmart had one set of the whole Marvel wave 3 (Doc Ock, Black Spidey, and Thor), and TRU had Cap, Classic Spidey, and Wolverine if anyone's interested.

10 Down, 2 to go: Venom and Thing.

you probably won't, unless it's at a comic book shop. you won't be able to pick him up at walmart or target or anything. he (and red skull) are a previews exclusive... which pretty much means you'll have to order him online. most places tend to sell him in a 2-pack with red skull, but some have him available by himself.

I was kinda asking when it would be availible for purchase, not exactly where. I know a local comic shop that has a huge inventory of everything. Maybe I just worded it wrong.
 
I am missing Venom from the marvel series, anyone have an extra or something feel free to PM me how much it would cost me.

I think one lando.....maybe not

other than that the usual Indiana Jones ones were there and I saw no gi joe ones and Marvel was pretty much sold out everywhere. I am still on the hunt and will check back later
 
So I know Venom is one of the hardest MM's to find, but I realized, I've never ever seen Dr. Henry Jones in stores ... am I just missing out or is this MM equally rare? I'm asking because I actually have a Venom (found at Borders once again) but no one ever seems to mention this sean-connery-esque mighty mugg, either in stores or in their collection

I'd love to see a Gambit come with 5 cards (molded together) and his cane. That'd be awesome, as long as he had his floor length jacket to boot.

Xavier would be cool, but would they make a wheel chair for his mugg? And if they made Beast, I'd love to see them package him in the box upside down, as if he were hanging from the box itself.

He is in the second wave of Indy Muggs and those have just started to find their way into retail stores. So if he is anything like the current Indy ones, you will be swimming in them in a few weeks.

Ok First I have to admit that these things are cool. I really want to get some of the Marvel ones. Any suggestions for a first time Mighty Muggs buyer. Where are the best deals? Which are the rare sought after Mighty Muggs at least for the Marvel product line.
 
If you want to collect the Marvel Muggs, the first one you can get is, Hulk! They are practically everywhere, though I am seeing less of them in some Walmart and Target. The best price for Muggs would be Target as they have them for $9.99. I did see a new wave of Captain America, Spider-Man, and Wolverine in some Toys 'R' Us I went to recently.

The rare ones for Marvel Muggs are:

Peter Parker
SDCC Iron Man
Peter Parker

There are also ones that are not as rare, but might be harder to find than others, depends on where you are, they are:

Classic Iron Man
Dr. Doom
Symbiote Spider-Man
Thing
Thor

I never seen Classic Iron Man and Thing at the stores I went to, I did see the other three and do have them in my collection.:)
